0:22 “O my Lord! Thou hast given me (something) of sovereignty and hast taught me (something) of the interpretation of events - Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Protecting Guardian in the world and the Hereafter. Make me to die muslim (unto Thee), and join me to the righteous.” (12:101)

0:49 "O my Lord, You have granted me sovereignty over the land of Egypt."

1:00 "You are my Protector in this world against those who show me enmity and wish me harm."

1:05 "And You shall be my Protector in the Hereafter through Your grace and mercy."

1:09 "Take my soul unto You as a Muslim."

1:12 "And join me with the righteous among my forefathers, Ibrahim and Ishaq."

1:16 "And those before them among Your prophets and messengers."

1:20 That is from the news of the unseen which We reveal to you.

1:28 “This is of the tidings of the Unseen which We inspire in thee (Muhammad). Thou wast not present with them when they fixed their plan and they were scheming.” (12:102)

1:36 This is the account that I have related to you.

1:40 It is from the news of the unseen which you did not witness.

1:43 But We reveal it to you.

1:46 So that We may strengthen your heart with it.

1:48 You were not present with the brothers of Yusuf.

1:52 When they agreed upon their plan to cast Yusuf into the depths of the well.

1:57 This was their plot.

2:00 This is so that you may remain patient regarding the harm you have received from your people for the sake of Allah.

2:05 And so that you may know that the messengers of Allah who came before you.

2:09 When they were patient regarding what befell them for His sake.

2:11 They attained victory and were established in the land.

2:16 Yet most people, even if you are eager, will not be believers.

2:24 Most of your people, O Muhammad, are polytheists.

2:27 Even if you are eager for them to believe in you.

2:30 To confirm you or follow you.

2:34 “Thou askest them no fee for it. It is naught else than a reminder unto the peoples.” (12:104)

2:38 It is but a reminder to the worlds.

2:44 You do not ask, O Muhammad, of those who deny your prophethood.

2:48 Any reward or recompense from them.

2:51 Rather, your reward and the recompense for your work are with Allah.

2:55 This which your Lord has sent you with, O Muhammad.

2:58 Of prophethood and the message.

3:00 Is nothing but a sermon and a reminder to the worlds.

3:04 So that they may take heed and be reminded by it.

3:07 “How many a portent is there in the heavens and the earth which they pass by with face averted!” (12:105)

3:22 “And most of them believe not in Allah except that they attribute partners (unto Him).” (12:106)

3:26 Except that they are polytheists.

3:31 How many signs and proofs are there in the heavens and the earth.

3:35 Such as the sun, the moon, the stars, and the like.

3:39 And such as the mountains, the seas, the vegetation, and others.

3:43 They witness them, yet they pass by them, turning away.

3:47 They do not take heed from them.

3:49 Nor do they reflect upon them and what they indicate regarding the Oneness of their Lord.

3:55 Most of these people do not acknowledge Allah as their Creator and Provider.

4:00 And the Creator of all things.

4:02 Except that they are polytheists in their worship of idols and images.

4:07 And their taking of lords other than Him.

4:12 “Deem they themselves secure from the coming on them of a pall of Allah's punishment, or the coming of the Hour suddenly while they are unaware?” (12:107)

4:25 While they are unaware.

4:28 Do those who do not acknowledge that Allah is their Lord feel secure.

4:45 And they are unaware of its arrival and its occurrence.

4:49 “Say: This is my Way: I call on Allah with sure knowledge. I and whosoever followeth me - Glory be to Allah! - and I am not of the idolaters.” (12:108)

5:07 Say, O Muhammad:

5:09 "This is the call to which I invite."

5:12 "My way and my call are to the Oneness of Allah and the sincerity of worship for Him."

5:17 "Based upon clear insight and certain knowledge from me."

5:21 "And those who follow me and believe in me also call upon clear insight."

5:26 "And in declaring Allah free from having any partner in His dominion."

5:31 "And I am free from those who associate partners with Him."

5:34 "I am not one of them, nor are they of me."

5:37 “We sent not before thee (any messengers) save men whom We inspired from among the folk of the townships - Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? And verily the abode of the Hereafter, for those who ward off (evil), is best. Have ye then no sense? -” (12:109)

5:48 Have they not traveled through the land and seen how was the end of those before them?

5:57 “We sent not before thee (any messengers) save men whom We inspired from among the folk of the townships - Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? And verily the abode of the Hereafter, for those who ward off (evil), is best. Have ye then no sense? -” (12:109)

6:02 Do you not then use your reason?

6:06 We have not sent, O Muhammad, before you any but men from the towns to whom We revealed Our signs.

6:14 Not from the people of the desert.

6:16 Have these polytheists not traveled through the land, O Muhammad?

6:21 “Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? They were stronger than these in power, and they dug the earth and built upon it more than these have built. Messengers of their own came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty). Surely Allah wronged them not, but they did wrong themselves.” (30:9)

6:27 Did We not bring down upon them Our punishment and destroy them with it?

6:31 And save Our messenger and those who followed him from it?

6:34 So that they may reflect upon that and take heed.

6:37 This is Our way with those who are loyal to Us and obey Us.

6:41 That when Our punishment descends, We save them from it.

6:46 And the home of the Hereafter is better for them.

6:49 Do these polytheists who associate partners with Allah not understand the reality of what We say to them and inform them of?

6:56 “Till, when the messengers despaired and thought that they were denied, then came unto them Our help, and whom We would was saved. And Our wrath cannot be warded from the guilty.” (12:110)

7:46 Had lied to them regarding what they had told them from Allah of His promise to them.

7:51 Then Our victory came to them.

7:53 And We save whom We will among Our messengers and those who believe in Us when Our victory arrives.

8:01 And Our punishment and Our might cannot be averted from those who have committed crimes among the disbelievers.

8:07 And who opposed His messengers and what they brought to them.

8:11 “In their history verily there is a lesson for men of understanding. It is no invented story but a confirmation of the existing (Scripture) and a detailed explanation of everything, and a guidance and a mercy for folk who believe.” (12:111)

8:27 But it is a confirmation of what was before it, a detailed explanation of all things, and guidance.

8:36 And guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

8:43 In the stories of Yusuf and his brothers, there was a lesson for those of understanding and intellect, that they might take heed.

8:53 This speech was not a hadith that is fabricated or invented.

8:57 But it is a confirmation of what was before it of the books of Allah which He revealed before it to His prophets.

9:05 Such as the Torah, the Gospel, and the Psalms.

9:08 It confirms all of that and bears witness that it is all truth from Allah.

9:14 It is also a detailed explanation of everything that the servants have need of.

9:19 Regarding the clarification of Allah’s commands, prohibitions, what is lawful, and what is forbidden.

9:24 It is a clarification of His command and guidance for those who were ignorant of the path of truth and were blind.

9:30 If they follow it, they are guided from their misguidance.

9:34 It is also a mercy for those who believe in it.

9:37 As it saves them from the wrath of Allah and His painful torment, and causes them to inherit His Paradise.

9:43 For a people who believe in the Qur'an and in what it contains of Allah’s promise and warning.
