0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:14 Surat Al-Raad
0:16 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:24 And if he wonders, then their saying is astonishing: “When we are dust.”
0:32 So amazing is their saying, “If we are dust.”
0:37 We are in a new creation
0:42 Those who disbelieved in their Lord
0:48 And those shackles are around their necks
0:53 And those are the companions of the Fire
0:59 They will live there forever
1:32 Those will be the inhabitants of Hell on the Day of Resurrection
1:35 They will remain therein forever
1:39 They ask you to hasten the bad before the good
1:44 Examples of examples have passed away before them
1:49 Indeed, your Lord is willing to forgive people for their injustice
1:57 Indeed, your Lord is severe in punishment
2:29 Indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, is the Coverer of their actions, whatever they did without my permission
2:36 Indeed, your Lord is severe in punishment for whoever perishes and persists in his disobedience in the Resurrection
2:44 And those who disbelieve say, “If only a sign had been sent down to him from his Lord.”
2:52 But you are a warner
2:57 And every people has a guide
3:03 And those who disbelieve say
3:05 Should no proof be sent down to Muhammad from his Lord?
3:09 But you, O Muhammad, are a warner to them
3:13 Warn them of God's punishment that will come
3:16 Every people has an imam whom they follow and a guide who precedes them
3:21 He guides them either to good or to evil
3:26 God knows what every female carries
3:31 The wombs do not decrease or increase
3:36 Everything has a measure
3:42 The great, transcendent world of the unseen and the witnessed
3:51 God knows what every female carries
3:54 The wombs do not reduce their pregnancy during the nine months by sending menstrual blood
4:00 Her pregnancy increases over the nine months
4:04 Everything has a measure
4:07 Nothing of his value exceeds his appreciation
4:11 And no matter that He wills and plans falls short of His plan
4:16 God knows what you have missed
4:19 And whatever you saw, you saw with your eyes
4:23 Nothing is hidden from him
4:25 The great one without whom everything is
4:28 The Most High over all things through His power
4:33 Both the one who says it secretly and the one who speaks it out loud
4:46 Who is deceitful at night and stealth during the day?
4:54 Moderate in the eyes of God are you, people
4:58 The one who spoke secretly and the one who spoke it out loud
5:01 And he who belittles the night in its darkness by disobeying God
5:06 It is visible during the day in its light
5:09 None of this is hidden from him
5:13 He has obstacles in front of him and behind him who protect him from the command of God
5:24 God does not change the condition of a people until He changes what is in themselves
5:34 If God wants evil for a people, there is no turning it back
5:42 And they have no way other than Him
5:51 Either of you people
5:53 Whoever secretly says and whoever declares it openly is before your Lord
5:57 Whoever belittles his immorality and suspicion in the darkness of the night
6:02 And Sarp comes and goes in the light of day
6:06 He is abstained by his soldiers and guards who are pursuing him from in front of him and behind him
6:12 They protect him from those who obey God and prevent him from what comes from that
6:19 And to implement God's punishment for him
6:22 God does not change the well-being and blessings of a people
6:26 He removes that from them and destroys them
6:30 Until they change what is within themselves by oppressing one another
6:35 Then his punishment and change will befall them
6:40 And if God intends for those who belittle the night and steal the day, destruction and disgrace
6:47 No one else can refute that for them
6:52 These people have no guardian who follows them and takes care of their affairs and punishment
6:59 It is He who shows you the lightning for fear and hope and creates the heavy clouds
7:10 The thunder praises Him, the angels praise Him, and He sends lightning bolts
7:19 He sends thunderbolts and strikes with them whomever He wills, while they dispute about God, and He is severe in His impossibility
7:35 The Lord is the one who shows his servants the lightning
7:40 For fear of harm to the traveler
7:43 The resident hopes that it will rain and benefits
7:46 He stirs up the heavy clouds with rain, and causes the thunder to magnify and glorify God
7:53 He praises him for his qualities and exonerates him from what the polytheists have added to him
8:00 The angels glorify God out of fear and awe, and He sends lightning bolts and strikes whomever He wishes with them
8:09 And these are those whom God struck with lightning
8:13 He struck them when they disputed with God Almighty His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
8:20 By God, it is severe in punishing those who are tyrannical, arrogant, and persistent in their disbelief
8:29 To Him belongs the call of truth, and those they call upon other than Him do not respond to them with anything except as one who spreads out His hands
8:43 Except as one who extends his hands to the water to reach it, then it is not his reach
8:52 The supplication of the unbelievers is nothing but misguidance
9:01 From His creation belongs the true call, which is the unity of God
9:06 And the gods that the polytheists call lords besides God
9:11 Do not answer them with anything they want from benefit or harm
9:15 Except as it is beneficial for someone to stretch his hands towards water
9:19 She wore them to him without him raising them to him in Inna
9:25 The supplication of one who disbelieves in God is only without integrity or guidance, because he associates others with God
9:34 To God prostrates whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly, unwillingly or astray
9:45 And they go astray in the mornings and the evenings
9:51 If those who call upon idols other than God refuse to release obedience
9:58 To God the honorable angels in the heavens prostrate
10:03 And whoever on earth believes in Him voluntarily
10:07 As for those who disbelieve in Him, they prostrate to Him by force when they are forced to prostrate
10:14 He also prostrates their error in the mornings and evenings
10:20 Say from the Lord of the heavens and the earth
10:24 Say God
10:27 Say: Have you taken guardians besides Him?
10:32 They do not have any benefit or harm for themselves
10:43 Say: Are the blind and the seeing equal, or are darkness and light equal?
10:51 Or did they assign partners to God who created you as His own, so that the creation was similar to them?
11:00 Say: God is the Creator of all things and He is the Promiser, the Supreme
11:09 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists in God
11:13 From the Lord of the heavens and the earth and its ruler
11:17 So say, “O Muhammad, its Lord is the one who created it and created it.”
11:22 He is the One to whom worship is not appropriate, and He is God
11:27 Tell them: Have you taken guardians other than the Lord of the heavens and the earth?
11:33 They have neither benefit to bring nor harm to repel
11:38 And you abandoned the worship of those in whose hands is both benefit and harm
11:42 Tell them, O Muhammad, is the blind man who does not see anything equal?
11:48 And the one who sees the blind who guides the blind to the path
11:52 They are shapeless and uneven
11:56 Likewise, the believer who sees the truth and follows it is not equal
12:01 And you, O polytheists, do not know the truth and do not see guidance
12:07 Are the darknesses equal to those in which you do not see the way?
12:11 The light by which you see things
12:15 So is disbelief in God
12:17 But his companion was confused about it
12:20 Faith in God is accompanied by him in light
12:25 Say, O Muhammad, these are the polytheists
12:28 I create your idols as God created them
12:32 So you are suspicious of her matter
12:34 So you made them partners for him for that reason
12:39 Tell them, Muhammad
12:41 God is your Creator, the Creator of your idols, and the Creator of everything
12:46 He is the individual who has no second
12:49 The Almighty who deserves divinity and worship
12:55 Water was sent down from the sky
13:02 Valleys flowed as much as they could
13:05 The torrent carried a thick foam
13:09 And from what they kindle in the fire
13:14 Seeking a piece of jewelry or something similar to it
13:21 God also strikes truth and falsehood
13:25 As for the foam, it disappears
13:31 As for what benefits people, it will fail on earth
13:39 God also sets parables
13:46 This is like God striking right and wrong
13:50 Like the truth
13:51 Like water sent down by God from the sky to the earth
13:55 The valleys bore him with their fullness
13:58 The big one is big and the small one is small
14:02 The torrent bore foam rising above the torrent
14:06 The truth is the remaining water
14:09 And foam is falsehood
14:12 Another example of truth and falsehood
14:15 Like silver or gold that people burn in fire
14:20 Asking for a piece of jewelry or belongings to be taken away
14:23 And some of these things they burn
14:27 Foam like the foam of a stream is of no use
14:31 And pure gold and silver remain
14:34 God also represents faith and disbelief
14:38 God also represents truth and falsehood
14:42 As for the foam that is on the stream, the gold and the silver, it will go away
14:47 As for the water that benefits people, it is destroyed on the ground
14:52 Gold and silver remain for the people
14:55 This is also a parable of faith and disbelief
14:59 It also represents proverbs
15:04 For those who responded to their Lord well
15:08 And those who did not respond to him
15:11 If only they had everything on earth
15:17 If only they had everything on earth
15:22 And a similar one with him so that they may seek refuge in him
15:26 Those have bad judgment
15:31 And their abode is Hell
15:35 And miserable is the mulch
15:40 As for those who responded to God, they believed in Him and followed His Messenger
15:45 For theirs is goodness, and it is Paradise
15:49 As for those who did not respond to God
15:51 When he called them to unite him and they did not follow his Messenger
15:56 Even if they had everything on earth
15:59 And the same with him belongs to them
16:02 Then he accepted the same from them
16:04 Instead of the torment that God has prepared for them
16:08 So they ransom themselves with it
16:11 Those are the ones to be punished for all their sins
16:15 They will not be forgiven for any of it
16:18 And their abode on the Day of Resurrection will be Hell
16:22 And miserable is the bed and the lowest place in Hell
16:27 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
