0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:23 And to Thamud, We sent their brother Salih.

0:26 He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him."

0:33 “And unto (the tribe of) Thamud (We sent) their brother Salih. He said: O my people! Serve Allah, Ye have no other Allah save Him. He brought you forth from the earth and hath made you husband it. So ask forgiveness of Him and turn unto Him repentant. Lo! my Lord is Nigh, Responsive.” (11:61)

0:37 And He settled you therein.

1:14 "And He caused you to dwell there for the days of your life."

1:17 "So perform deeds that will be a cause for Allah to cover your sins."

1:23 "Then abandon the deeds that your Lord dislikes."

1:27 "Indeed, my Lord is near to those who worship Him sincerely."

1:31 "And who desire repentance unto Him."

1:33 "He answers them when they call upon Him."

1:37 “They said: O Salih! Thou hast been among us hitherto as that wherein our hope was placed. Dost thou ask us not to worship what our fathers worshipped? Lo! we verily are in grave doubt concerning that to which thou callest us.” (11:62)

2:07 "O Salih, we used to hope that you would be a leader among us before this statement you have made to us."

2:15 "Regarding your claim that we have no deity other than Allah."

2:18 "Do you forbid us from worshipping the gods that our forefathers used to worship?"

2:24 "And we do not know the truth of this monotheism to which you invite us."

2:30 He said, "O my people, have you considered if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord?"

2:39 “He said: O my people! Bethink you: if I am (acting) on clear proof from my Lord and there hath come unto me a mercy from Him, who will save me from Allah if I disobey Him? Ye would add to me naught save perdition.” (11:63)

2:49 “He said: O my people! Bethink you: if I am (acting) on clear proof from my Lord and there hath come unto me a mercy from Him, who will save me from Allah if I disobey Him? Ye would add to me naught save perdition.” (11:63)

2:55 Salih said to his people:

2:57 "O my people, have you considered if I am upon a proof and clear guidance from Allah that I have come to know?"

3:03 "And He has granted me from Himself prophethood, wisdom, and Islam."

3:07 "Then who could protect me from His punishment if I were to disobey Him?"

3:13 "Your excuses—which you offer—do not increase me in anything."

3:17 "That you worship what your forefathers worshipped."

3:21 "Except in loss, for you lose your share of Allah’s mercy."

3:27 “O my people! This is the camel of Allah, a token unto you, so suffer her to feed in Allah's earth, and touch her not with harm lest a near torment seize you.” (11:64)

3:32 "So leave her to graze on Allah’s earth, and do not touch her with harm."

3:39 “O my people! This is the camel of Allah, a token unto you, so suffer her to feed in Allah's earth, and touch her not with harm lest a near torment seize you.” (11:64)

3:49 "And O my people, this she-camel of Allah is a proof for you and a sign of the truth of what I invite you to."

3:56 "So leave her to graze on Allah’s earth."

3:59 "For you are not responsible for her provision or her maintenance."

4:03 "Do not kill her, and do not harm her by hamstringing."

4:07 "For if you touch her with harm,"

4:10 "A punishment from Allah, which is not far off, will seize you and destroy you."

4:16 “But they hamstrung her, and then he said: Enjoy life in your dwelling-place three days! This is a threat that will not be belied.” (11:65)

4:23 Then the people of Thamud hamstrung the she-camel of Allah, so Salih said to them:

4:29 "Enjoy yourselves in the worldly life for three days."

4:34 "This deadline is a promise from Allah, and He has not lied to you in it."

4:38 "He promised you that upon its expiration, destruction and punishment would descend."

4:42 “So, when Our commandment came to pass, We saved Salih, and those who believed with him, by a mercy from Us, from the ignominy of that day. Lo, thy Lord! He is the Strong, the Mighty.” (11:66)

4:50 “So, when Our commandment came to pass, We saved Salih, and those who believed with him, by a mercy from Us, from the ignominy of that day. Lo, thy Lord! He is the Strong, the Mighty.” (11:66)

5:26 And We saved them from the humiliation of that day.

5:30 Indeed, your Lord is the Powerful in His seizing.

5:33 The Exalted in Might, whom no victor can overcome and no oppressor can conquer.

5:39 “And the (awful) Cry overtook those who did wrong, so that morning found them prostrate in their dwellings,” (11:67)

5:48 As if they had never prospered therein.

5:51 “As though they had not dwelt there. Lo! Thamud disbelieved in their Lord. A far removal for Thamud!” (11:68)

6:01 And the blast struck those who committed what they should not have committed—the hamstringing of Allah’s she-camel.

6:07 Death had prostrated them, and they were left lifeless in their courtyards.

6:12 As if they had never lived there and never built upon it.

6:16 Verily, Thamud disbelieved in the signs of their Lord and rejected them.

6:21 Verily, may Allah distance Thamud, for the punishment has descended upon them.

6:27 “And Our messengers cam unto Abraham with good news. They said: Peace! He answered: Peace! and delayed not to bring a roasted calf.” (11:69)

6:35 “And Our messengers cam unto Abraham with good news. They said: Peace! He answered: Peace! and delayed not to bring a roasted calf.” (11:69)

6:45 And Our messengers, the angels, came to Ibrahim (peace be upon him) with the good news.

6:51 They greeted him with peace.

6:53 Ibrahim said to them, "And upon you be peace."

6:57 He did not delay in bringing a roasted calf.

7:01 But when he saw that their hands did not reach for it, he felt suspicious of them.

7:08 “And when he saw their hands reached not to it, he mistrusted them and conceived a fear of them. They said: Fear not! Lo! we are sent unto the folk of Lot.” (11:70)

7:20 When Ibrahim saw that their hands did not reach for the calf he had brought them,

7:27 Their refraining from eating it was strange.

7:31 He felt a sense of fear of them in his heart and kept it hidden.

7:35 The angels said, "Do not fear us, and be secure."

7:40 "For we are the angels of your Lord, sent to the people of Lut."

7:47 “And his wife, standing by laughed when We gave her good tidings (of the birth) of Isaac, and, after Isaac, of Jacob.” (11:71)

8:06 And his wife, Sarah, was standing behind the curtain.

8:10 Hearing the speech of the messengers and the speech of Ibrahim (peace be upon him).

8:15 It is said she was standing and serving the messengers.

8:19 She laughed and was amazed at the heedlessness of the people of Lut regarding the punishment of Allah that had surrounded them.

8:27 So We gave Sarah, the wife of Ibrahim, the good news of Ishaq as a son for her.

8:33 And after Ishaq, Ya'qub, from her son Ishaq.

8:39 “She said: Oh woe is me! Shall I bear a child when I am an old woman, and this my husband is an old man? Lo! this is a strange thing!” (11:72)

8:48 “She said: Oh woe is me! Shall I bear a child when I am an old woman, and this my husband is an old man? Lo! this is a strange thing!” (11:72)

8:53 “They said: Wonderest thou at the commandment of Allah? The mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, O people of the house! Lo! He is Owner of Praise, Owner of Glory!” (11:73)

8:57 The mercy of Allah and His blessings be upon you, O people of the house.

9:03 Indeed, He is Praiseworthy, Glorious.

9:12 Sarah said, "Woe to me! Shall I give birth while I am an old woman, and this husband of mine is an old man?"

9:19 "Indeed, the existence of a child from someone like me and someone like my husband at the age we are is a truly amazing thing."

9:27 The messengers said to her, "Do you wonder at the command of Allah, which He has decreed to happen?"

9:33 "The mercy of Allah and His happiness be upon you, O people of the house of Ibrahim."

9:38 "Indeed, Allah is Praiseworthy for His favor upon you with blessings."

9:42 "And over all His creation, He is the Possessor of glory, praise, and noble commendation."

10:04 When the fear that Ibrahim had felt in his heart regarding Our messengers had departed,

10:13 And the good news of Ishaq had come to him,

10:16 It is said the good news came to him that they were not intending him [for destruction].

10:22 He began to argue with Us regarding the people of Lut to avert the punishment from them.

10:27 Indeed, Ibrahim was slow to anger.

10:30 Indeed, Ibrahim was slow to anger.

10:32 Humble before his Lord, submissive to Him.

10:35 Obedient to His command.

10:37 Frequently returning to His obedience.

10:59 So the messengers said:

11:00 "Leave off the argument and dispute regarding their matter."

11:04 "For the command of your Lord has come for their punishment."

11:08 "And the people of Lut will be struck by a punishment from Allah that cannot be averted."

11:15 “And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was distressed and knew not how to protect them. He said: This is a distressful day.” (11:77)

11:23 He was distressed by them and felt straitened on their account.

11:28 “And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was distressed and knew not how to protect them. He said: This is a distressful day.” (11:77)

11:33 And when Our messengers came to Lut, their arrival distressed him.

11:38 His soul was constricted with grief at their arrival.

11:42 This was because he did not know they were the messengers of Allah.

11:46 And he knew what his people were like in terms of committing the abomination.

11:51 So he was distressed by their arrival because of that.

11:55 And he knew he would need to defend his guests.

11:59 So he said, "This is a difficult day, its evil is great, and its trial is severe."

12:06 “And his people came unto him, running towards him - and before then they used to commit abominations - He said: O my people! Here are my daughters! They are purer for you. Beware of Allah, and degrade me not in (the person of) my guests. Is there not among you any upright man?” (11:78)

12:11 “And his people came unto him, running towards him - and before then they used to commit abominations - He said: O my people! Here are my daughters! They are purer for you. Beware of Allah, and degrade me not in (the person of) my guests. Is there not among you any upright man?” (11:78)

12:16 “And his people came unto him, running towards him - and before then they used to commit abominations - He said: O my people! Here are my daughters! They are purer for you. Beware of Allah, and degrade me not in (the person of) my guests. Is there not among you any upright man?” (11:78)

12:23 “And his people came unto him, running towards him - and before then they used to commit abominations - He said: O my people! Here are my daughters! They are purer for you. Beware of Allah, and degrade me not in (the person of) my guests. Is there not among you any upright man?” (11:78)

12:28 “And his people came unto him, running towards him - and before then they used to commit abominations - He said: O my people! Here are my daughters! They are purer for you. Beware of Allah, and degrade me not in (the person of) my guests. Is there not among you any upright man?” (11:78)

12:34 And the people of Lut came to him, rushing toward him.

12:38 They were panting with the speed of their walking due to their desire for the abomination.

12:43 And before this, they used to approach men for their lusts.

12:47 Lut said, "O my people, these are the daughters of my nation; marry them."

12:53 "They are purer for you than what you desire of the abomination."

12:57 "So fear Allah, O people, and beware of His punishment."

13:01 "And do not disgrace me by doing to my guests what you would hate to have done to you."

13:08 "Is there not among you a man of right judgment who would forbid those who desire the abomination against my guests?"

13:14 "And come between them and that."

13:18 “They said: Well thou knowest that we have no right to thy daughters, and well thou knowest what we want.” (11:79)

13:29 The people of Lut said:

13:31 "You know, O Lut, that we have no right to your daughters, for they are not our wives."

13:39 "And you, O Lut, know that our need is not for your daughters, and that what we want is what you forbid us from."

13:48 “He said: Would that I had strength to resist you or had some strong support (among you)!” (11:80)

13:59 Lut said to his people:

14:02 "If only I had strength against you, through supporters who would help me against you,"

14:06 "And helpers who would assist me,"

14:08 "Or if I could rely on a strong clan that would protect me from you,"

14:13 "I would have come between you and what you have come to seek from me regarding my guests."

14:20 “(The messengers) said: O Lot! Lo! we are messengers of thy Lord; they shall not reach thee. So travel with thy people in a part of the night, and let not one of you turn round - (all) save thy wife. Lo! that which smiteth them will smite her (also). Lo! their tryst is (for) the morning. Is not the morning nigh?” (11:81)

14:28 “(The messengers) said: O Lot! Lo! we are messengers of thy Lord; they shall not reach thee. So travel with thy people in a part of the night, and let not one of you turn round - (all) save thy wife. Lo! that which smiteth them will smite her (also). Lo! their tryst is (for) the morning. Is not the morning nigh?” (11:81)

14:38 “(The messengers) said: O Lot! Lo! we are messengers of thy Lord; they shall not reach thee. So travel with thy people in a part of the night, and let not one of you turn round - (all) save thy wife. Lo! that which smiteth them will smite her (also). Lo! their tryst is (for) the morning. Is not the morning nigh?” (11:81)

14:43 “(The messengers) said: O Lot! Lo! we are messengers of thy Lord; they shall not reach thee. So travel with thy people in a part of the night, and let not one of you turn round - (all) save thy wife. Lo! that which smiteth them will smite her (also). Lo! their tryst is (for) the morning. Is not the morning nigh?” (11:81)

14:52 The angels said to Lut:

14:54 "O Lut, we are the messengers of your Lord; we have been sent to destroy them."

14:59 "And they will never reach you or your guest with any harm."

15:04 "So the matter is settled for you."

15:06 "Depart from among them with your family during a portion of the night."

15:11 "And let none of you look back, except for your wife."

15:15 For Lut had taken her out with him.

15:18 And Lut and those with him were forbidden to look back, except for his wife.

15:24 And she looked back, so she was destroyed because of that.

15:27 Indeed, what will strike your people of punishment will strike your wife.

15:32 Indeed, the appointment for your people is the morning.

15:36 Lut thought that time was too long for them, so he said to them:

15:39 "Rather, hasten the destruction for them."

15:42 They said, "Is the morning not near?"

15:47 “So when Our commandment came to pass We overthrew (that township) and rained upon it stones of clay, one after another,” (11:82)

16:10 Marked by your Lord.

16:14 “Marked with fire in the providence of thy Lord (for the destruction of the wicked). And they are never far from the wrong-doers.” (11:83)

16:21 And when Our command for punishment came,

16:24 We turned their city upside down.

16:27 And We rained upon them stones of layered clay.

16:32 Marked by Allah.

16:34 And these stones, which were rained upon the people of Lut,

16:39 Are not, O Muhammad, far from the polytheists of your people to be rained upon,

16:43 If they do not repent from their polytheism.
