0:00 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:12 Surah Yunus.

0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:23 And they ask you, "Is it true?"

0:28 Say, "Yes, by my Lord, it is indeed the truth."

0:33 "And you will not be able to escape [His punishment]."

0:41 These polytheists ask you, O Muhammad, for information.

0:45 They say to you:

0:46 "Is what you say and what you promise us of Allah’s punishment in the Hereafter true?"

0:52 Say to them, O Muhammad:

0:55 "Yes, by my Lord, there is no doubt about it."

0:58 And you cannot frustrate Allah if He wills that for you, neither by fleeing nor by resistance.

1:04 Rather, you are within His grasp and under His authority.

1:09 “And if each soul that doeth wrong had all that is in the earth it would seek to ransom itself therewith; and they will feel remorse within them, when they see the doom. But it hath been judged between them fairly and they are not wronged.” (10:54)

1:17 And they will conceal their regret when they see the punishment.

1:32 And if every soul that disbelieved in Allah possessed all that is on earth, whether little or much,

1:38 It would surely offer it all as a ransom to escape Allah’s punishment once it witnesses it.

1:43 The leaders of these polytheists will conceal their regret from their followers when they behold the punishment of Allah.

1:51 Allah will judge between the followers and the leaders on that day with justice.

1:55 And they will not be wronged.

1:57 For He will not punish any of them except for their own sins.

2:01 Nor will He hold anyone accountable for the sin of another.

2:04 And He will not punish anyone except those to whom He had already sent warnings in the world and established the proofs against them.

2:11 Verily, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth.

2:17 “Lo! verily all that is in the heavens and the earth is Allah's. Lo! verily Allah's promise is true. But most of them know not.” (10:55)

2:27 Verily, everything in the heavens and everything on the earth belongs to Allah as His possession.

2:33 No one else has any share in it.

2:36 Verily, the punishment He promised these polytheists is true.

2:41 So they should not be impatient for it.

2:44 For it will surely befall them, without doubt.

2:47 But most of these polytheists do not know the reality of that which will befall them.

2:53 Because of their ignorance, they are deniers.

2:58 “He quickeneth and giveth death, and unto Him ye will be returned.” (10:56)

3:06 Indeed, Allah is the One who gives life and causes death.

3:08 And to Him they shall return after their death.

3:11 Then they will witness the very warning and punishment of Allah they used to deny.

3:18 O mankind!

3:21 There has come to you an admonition from your Lord.

3:27 There has come to you an admonition from your Lord.

3:33 “O mankind! There hath come unto you an exhortation from your Lord, a balm for that which is in the breasts, a guidance and a mercy for believers.” (10:57)

3:38 “O mankind! There hath come unto you an exhortation from your Lord, a balm for that which is in the breasts, a guidance and a mercy for believers.” (10:57)

3:42 And guidance and mercy for the believers.

3:48 O mankind!

3:49 There has come to you a reminder, reminding you of the punishment of Allah.

3:53 From your Lord, and no one else fabricated it.

3:56 And a cure for the ignorance within the hearts.

3:59 Through it, Allah heals the ignorance of the ignorant.

4:03 It is an exposition of what Allah has made lawful and what He has made unlawful.

4:06 And a mercy by which He shows mercy to whom He wills among His creation.

4:10 Through it, He saves them from destruction and ruin.

4:13 For those who believe in it, to the exclusion of the disbelievers.

4:18 “Say: In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy: therein let them rejoice. It is better than what they hoard.” (10:58)

4:21 So let them rejoice in that.

4:24 So let them rejoice in that.

4:27 “Say: In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy: therein let them rejoice. It is better than what they hoard.” (10:58)

4:34 Say, O Muhammad, to these deniers:

4:37 "By the bounty of Allah, O people,"

4:39 Which He has bestowed upon you,

4:42 Which is Islam,

4:44 "And by His mercy," which He showed you,

4:46 By sending it down to you,

4:48 Which is the Qur'an.

4:51 So let them rejoice in that.

4:53 “Say: In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy: therein let them rejoice. It is better than what they hoard.” (10:58)

4:56 For the Islam to which He called them,

4:59 And the Qur'an which He sent down to them,

5:02 Are better than what they accumulate,

5:04 Of the fleeting goods of this world, its wealth, and its treasures.

5:19 You have known from it what is unlawful and what is lawful.

5:24 Say, "Has Allah permitted you [to do this]?"

5:30 “Say: Have ye considered what provision Allah hath sent down for you, how ye have made of it lawful and unlawful? Hath Allah permitted you, or do ye invent a lie concerning Allah?” (10:59)

5:35 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists:

5:38 "Have you considered, O people, the provision Allah has created for you?"

5:43 Then you declared some of it lawful for yourselves,

5:46 And declared some of it unlawful.

5:49 Say, O Muhammad:

5:51 "Has Allah permitted you to declare unlawful what you have forbidden of it?"

5:56 "Or do you invent lies against Allah?"

6:01 “And what think those who invent a lie concerning Allah (will be their plight) upon the Day of Resurrection? Lo! Allah truly is Bountiful toward mankind, but most of them give not thanks.” (10:60)

6:08 Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to the people,

6:13 But most of them do not give thanks.

6:19 And what do those who fabricate lies against Allah think?

6:24 By attributing to Him the prohibition of what He did not prohibit.

6:27 Do they think Allah will do nothing to them on the Day of Resurrection for their lies and fabrications against Him?

6:33 Do they think He will overlook them and forgive them?

6:37 Never.

6:38 Rather, He will cast them into a blazing fire, to abide therein forever.

6:42 Indeed, Allah is full of bounty to His creation,

6:45 By delaying the punishment of those who fabricate lies against Him in this world.

6:51 But most people do not thank Him for His bounty toward them in this,

6:56 Or for His other various blessings.

7:16 “And thou (Muhammad) art not occupied with any business and thou recitest not a Lecture from this (Scripture), and ye (mankind) perform no act, but We are Witness of you when ye are engaged therein. And not an atom's weight in the earth or in the sky escapeth your Lord, nor what is less than that or greater than that, but it is (written) in a clear Book.” (10:61)

7:29 Nor anything smaller than that or greater, but it is in a clear record.

7:36 Whatever state you are in, O Muhammad, in any of your deeds,

7:40 And whatever you recite of your Book,

7:43 And whatever you recite of the Book of Allah, the Qur'an,

7:46 And whatever deed you do, O people, whether good or evil,

7:51 We are witnesses over your deeds and affairs when you perform them.

7:56 And not even an atom's weight escapes your Lord, O Muhammad, of the deeds of His creation.

8:00 Nor does the knowledge of anything escape Him, not even the weight of a small ant,

8:05 Wherever it may be, on earth or in heaven.

8:07 Nor anything smaller than that or greater, but it is in a clear record.

8:11 Nor anything smaller than that or greater,

8:14 All of that is in a record with Allah,

8:17 Clearly explaining the truth of Allah’s knowledge to whoever looks into it,

8:21 That there is nothing but that Allah has recorded it.

8:27 “Lo! verily the friends of Allah are (those) on whom fear (cometh) not, nor do they grieve?” (10:62)

8:37 Verily, the allies of Allah will have no fear in the Hereafter regarding the punishment of Allah,

8:43 Nor will they grieve over what they missed of the world.

8:47 Those who believed and used to fear Allah.

8:54 Those who believed in Allah and His Messenger and what he brought from Allah.

9:00 And who used to fear Allah by performing His obligatory duties and avoiding His prohibitions.

9:06 For them are glad tidings in the life of this world and in the Hereafter.

9:11 “Theirs are good tidings in the life of the world and in the Hereafter - There is no changing the Words of Allah - that is the Supreme Triumph.” (10:64)

9:17 That is the great success.

9:21 For the allies of Allah, there are glad tidings from Allah in the life of this world and in the Hereafter.

9:27 Among the glad tidings in this world:

9:29 Is the righteous vision that the Muslim sees or is seen for him.

9:33 And among them is the glad tidings of the angels to him at the time of his death regarding the mercy of Allah.

9:39 As for the Hereafter, it is Paradise.

9:42 There is no changing the words of Allah, nor is there any breaking of His promise.

9:46 These glad tidings in the life of this world and in the Hereafter,

9:50 Are the great success and the attainment of one's goal.

9:54 And do not let their speech grieve you.

9:58 Indeed, all honor belongs to Allah.

10:03 He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

10:08 Do not let the speech of these polytheists regarding their Lord grieve you, O Muhammad,

10:14 Nor their associating others with Him.

10:16 For Allah is the One who possesses all honor in this world and the Hereafter.

10:20 And He is the Avenger against them.

10:23 No one will help them when He takes vengeance upon them.

10:27 He is the All-Hearing of what they say of fabrication and lies against Him.

10:31 And He is the All-Knowing of what they conceal in their hearts and what they declare.

10:36 He is fully aware of all of that, and He is in wait for them.

10:42 “Lo! is it not unto Allah that belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is in the earth? Those who follow aught instead of Allah follow not (His) partners. They follow only a conjecture, and they do but guess.” (10:66)

10:50 “Lo! is it not unto Allah that belongeth whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is in the earth? Those who follow aught instead of Allah follow not (His) partners. They follow only a conjecture, and they do but guess.” (10:66)

10:57 They follow nothing but conjecture, and they are only lying.

11:06 Verily, to Allah, O Muhammad, belongs everyone in the heavens and on the earth, as subjects and servants.

11:13 So worship belongs to the Master, not to the owned.

11:16 And what do those who falsely claim that Allah has partners in His authority and kingdom follow?

11:24 They follow nothing but doubt.

11:26 And they are only inventing falsehoods as a fabrication of lies.

11:33 “He it is Who hath appointed for you the night that ye should rest therein and the day giving sight. Lo! herein verily are portents for a folk that heed.” (10:67)

11:41 Indeed, in that are signs for a people who listen.

11:50 Your Lord, O people, who is the only One deserving of your worship,

11:54 “He it is Who hath appointed for you the night that ye should rest therein and the day giving sight. Lo! herein verily are portents for a folk that heed.” (10:67)

11:58 From the fatigue and exhaustion of your day.

12:02 And He made the day bright.

12:05 Indeed, in the alternation of the state of night and day and the state of their inhabitants,

12:09 Are proofs and arguments that the One who alone deserves worship,

12:14 “And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit.” (21:33)

12:17 Is not like those who do not create and do nothing.

12:21 They say, "Allah has taken a son."

12:25 Exalted is He!

12:27 He is the Self-Sufficient.

12:28 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.

12:33 “They say: Allah hath taken (unto Him) a son - Glorified be He! He hath no needs! His is all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. Ye have no warrant for this. Tell ye concerning Allah that which ye know not?” (10:68)

12:39 Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?

12:46 These polytheists said, O Muhammad:

12:49 "Allah has taken a son."

12:52 Exalted is Allah above what they said and claimed about their Lord.

12:57 Allah is free of all need for His creation, so He has no need for a son.

13:03 To Allah belongs the dominion of what is in the heavens and what is on the earth.

13:07 So how can a man’s servant and his possession be his son?

13:12 Do you not understand, O people, the error of what you are saying?

13:16 You have no evidence, O people, for what you say,

13:19 That the angels are the daughters of Allah,

13:22 Any proof with which you can argue.

13:25 Do you say about Allah a statement whose truth and validity you do not know?

13:32 “Say: Verily those who invent a lie concerning Allah will not succeed.” (10:69)

13:40 “This world's portion (will be theirs), then unto Us is their return. Then We make them taste a dreadful doom because they used to disbelieve.” (10:70)

13:46 “This world's portion (will be theirs), then unto Us is their return. Then We make them taste a dreadful doom because they used to disbelieve.” (10:70)

13:59 Say, O Muhammad, to them:

14:02 "Indeed, those who fabricate lies against Allah,"

14:05 By saying falsehood about Him,

14:07 And claiming He has a son, "will not succeed in this world."

14:12 But they have a brief enjoyment in this world, which they will enjoy.

14:16 Then, when their appointed time comes to an end,

14:18 To Us is their return and their final destination.

14:21 Then We will make them taste the severe punishment by casting them into Hell,

14:26 Because they used to disbelieve in Allah in the world,

14:29 Denying His messengers and rejecting His signs.
