0:47 These are the verses of the Book which I have revealed to you, O Muhammad.

0:55 We recite to you in this Qur'an the account of Moses and Pharaoh in truth.

1:00 For a people who believe in this Book.

1:03 And whose hearts find tranquility.

1:06 “Lo! Pharaoh exalted himself in the earth and made its people castes. A tribe among them he oppressed, killing their sons and sparing their women. Lo! he was of those who work corruption.” (28:4)

1:13 He oppressed a group among them.

1:34 Indeed, Pharaoh acted arrogantly in the land of Egypt.

1:52 He was indeed among those who spread corruption in the land through his killing, enslavement, and tyranny.

1:59 “And We desired to show favour unto those who were oppressed in the earth, and to make them examples and to make them the inheritors,” (28:5)

2:04 And We make them leaders.

2:34 “And to establish them in the earth, and to show Pharaoh and Haman and their hosts that which they feared from them.” (28:6)

3:40 By casting into her heart the command to nurse Moses.

3:45 So Allah commanded her to nurse him.

3:47 And when she feared for him from the enemy of Allah, Pharaoh, and his soldiers.

3:52 To cast him into the Nile.

3:54 Then He says to her:

3:56 Do not fear for your child from Pharaoh and his soldiers, that they might kill him.

4:01 And do not grieve over his separation.

4:03 We will return your child to you for nursing.

4:07 So that you may be the one to nurse him.

4:09 And We will send him as a messenger to the one you fear will kill him.

4:15 “And the family of Pharaoh took him up, that he might become for them an enemy and a sorrow, Lo! Pharaoh and Haman and their hosts were ever sinning.” (28:8)

4:32 So the family of Pharaoh picked him up and took him.

4:35 So that Moses would, in the end, be an enemy to the family of Pharaoh in their religion.

4:41 And a source of grief for the harm they would receive from him.

4:45 So the family of Pharaoh picked him up.

4:47 Thinking they were doing themselves a favor.

4:51 So that he might be a comfort to their eyes.

4:54 But the consequence of their picking him up was their destruction at his hands.

4:58 Indeed, Pharaoh, Haman, and their soldiers were sinners against their Lord.

5:05 And the wife of Pharaoh said: "A comfort to the eye for me and for you."

5:11 “And the wife of Pharaoh said: (He will be) a consolation for me and for thee. Kill him not. Peradventure he may be of use to us, or we may choose him for a son. And they perceived not.” (28:9)

5:22 And the wife of Pharaoh said to him:

5:24 "This is a comfort to the eye for me and for you, O Pharaoh."

5:28 “And the wife of Pharaoh said: (He will be) a consolation for me and for thee. Kill him not. Peradventure he may be of use to us, or we may choose him for a son. And they perceived not.” (28:9)

5:32 But Pharaoh and his people were unaware of what was to come of their destruction at his hands.

5:39 “And the heart of the mother of Moses became void, and she would have betrayed him if We had not fortified her heart, that she might be of the believers.” (28:10)

5:45 “And the heart of the mother of Moses became void, and she would have betrayed him if We had not fortified her heart, that she might be of the believers.” (28:10)

5:48 Had We not strengthened her heart so that she would be among the believers.

5:56 “And the heart of the mother of Moses became void, and she would have betrayed him if We had not fortified her heart, that she might be of the believers.” (28:10)

6:00 Except for the mention of Moses.

6:02 She was about to say: "O my son!"

6:06 Had We not protected her from that.

6:09 By granting her steadfastness and enabling her to remain silent about him.

6:13 So that she would be among those who believe in the promise of Allah and are certain of it.

6:19 And she said to his sister: "Follow him."

6:23 “And she said unto his sister: Trace him. So she observed him from afar, and they perceived not.” (28:11)

6:30 And the mother of Moses said to the sister of Moses when she cast him into the river:

6:35 "Follow the tracks of Moses."

6:37 So the sister of Moses followed his tracks.

6:40 And she watched Moses from a distance.

6:42 She did not draw near him, nor did she approach.

6:45 So that they would not know that she had any connection to him.

6:49 And the people of Pharaoh did not perceive that the sister of Moses was his sister.
