0:23 “Praise be to Allah, Who hath created the heavens and the earth, and hath appointed darkness and light. Yet those who disbelieve ascribe rivals unto their Lord.” (6:1)

0:27 "And He made the darkness and the light."

0:32 "Yet those who disbelieve equate others with their Lord."

0:38 “Praise be to Allah, Who hath created the heavens and the earth, and hath appointed darkness and light. Yet those who disbelieve ascribe rivals unto their Lord.” (6:1)

0:43 He darkened the night and illuminated the day.

0:46 Then those who deny the favor of Allah upon them,

0:49 set up partners in their worship alongside their Lord who created them,

1:01 “He it is Who hath created you from clay, and hath decreed a term for you. A term is fixed with Him. Yet still ye doubt!” (6:2)

1:19 It is He who created you, O people, from clay.

1:26 and decreed the term of resurrection with Him to restore you to life.

1:45 "And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord"

2:02 He knows your secrets and what you reveal, so nothing is hidden from Him.

2:07 And no proof or sign comes to these disbelievers

2:11 from the proofs and signs of their Lord pointing to His Oneness

2:15 and the truth of your prophethood, O Muhammad,

2:18 except that they turn away from the sign out of their ignorance of Allah

2:22 and deluded by His forbearance toward them.

2:25 “And they denied the truth when it came unto them. But there will come unto them the tidings of that which they used to deride.” (6:5)

2:31 “And they denied the truth when it came unto them. But there will come unto them the tidings of that which they used to deride.” (6:5)

2:40 Indeed, those who equate others with the True God lied when the Truth came to them,

2:45 and that Truth is Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

2:50 So there will come to them the news of their mocking

2:53 of My signs and the proofs I brought them,

2:57 whereupon He will fulfill His threat against them, having slain them on the day of Badr.

3:02 “See they not how many a generation We destroyed before them, whom We had established in the earth more firmly than We have established you, and We shed on them abundant showers from the sky, and made the rivers flow beneath them. Yet we destroyed them for their sins, and created after them another generation.” (6:6)

4:08 so the trees produced their fruits for them,

4:11 and streams of water gushed forth beneath them from springs by My permission.

4:16 But they disobeyed the messenger of their Creator and transgressed the command of their Maker,

4:21 so I seized them for the sins they earned,

4:24 and We brought forth after them other generations.

4:28 "And even if We had sent down to you a written scripture on parchment"

4:34 "and they touched it with their hands,"

4:39 "those who disbelieve would have said,"

4:42 "‘This is nothing but obvious magic.’"

4:47 If We had sent down revelation upon you, O Muhammad, on parchment,

4:51 which they could see with their eyes and touch with their hands,

4:54 verifying the truth of what you call them to,

4:57 those who equate others with Me would surely have said,

5:00 "This that you have brought us is nothing but magic,

5:03 with which you have bewitched our eyes,"

5:06 clear and manifest to anyone who reflects and contemplates,

5:08 asserting that it is magic with no reality behind it.

5:12 “They say: Why hath not an angel been sent down unto him? If We sent down an angel, then the matter would be judged; no further time would be allowed them (for reflection).” (6:8)

5:17 “They say: Why hath not an angel been sent down unto him? If We sent down an angel, then the matter would be judged; no further time would be allowed them (for reflection).” (6:8)

5:21 "Then they will not be reprieved."

5:26 These deniers said,

5:29 "Why has an angel not been sent down to him from the sky in his actual form,

5:33 to confirm your truthfulness in what you brought us?"

5:36 But if We had sent down an angel according to what they asked and they still disbelieved,

5:41 the punishment would have come upon them swiftly, without delay,

5:44 and they would not be reprieved or granted time for punishment so that they might repent.

5:50 “Had we appointed him (Our messenger) an angel, We assuredly had made him (as) a man (that he might speak to men); and (thus) obscured for them (the truth) they (now) obscure.” (6:9)

5:55 “Had we appointed him (Our messenger) an angel, We assuredly had made him (as) a man (that he might speak to men); and (thus) obscured for them (the truth) they (now) obscure.” (6:9)

6:01 And if We had made Our messenger to these people who equate others with Me

6:05 an angel sent down to them from heaven

6:08 testifying to the truthfulness of Muhammad (peace be upon him)

6:12 and commanding them to follow him,

6:14 We would have made him in the form of a human man,

6:17 because they are incapable of seeing an angel in its true form,

6:21 and the matter would have been obscured for them,

6:23 so they would not know whether he was an angel or a human;

6:27 thus We would have confused for them what they confuse for themselves

6:30 regarding the reality of your mission

6:32 and the validity of your proof for your prophethood.

6:36 "And indeed, messengers were mocked before you,"

6:41 "so those who scoffed were enveloped"

6:44 "so those who scoffed at them were enveloped by that which they used to mock."

6:53 Take comfort, O Muhammad,

6:55 over what you encounter from these mockers,

6:59 and convey what I have commanded you of calling to My Oneness;

7:03 for nations before you also mocked messengers I had sent,

7:08 and there descended upon and enveloped those who scoffed at their messengers

7:11 the very punishment they used to mock.

7:15 "Say: Travel through the land"

7:17 “Say (unto the disbelievers): Travel in the land, and see the nature of the consequence for the rejecters!” (6:11)

7:24 Say, O Muhammad:

7:26 "Travel through the lands of the deniers,

7:29 then observe how their denial resulted in

7:32 destruction and ruin,

7:34 and what befell them of Allah's wrath upon them

7:37 in terms of annihilation and desolate homes;

7:40 so take warning from it regarding the denial in which you persist."

7:46 “Say: Unto whom belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth? Say: Unto Allah. He hath prescribed for Himself mercy, that He may bring you all together to the Day of Resurrection whereof there is no doubt. Those who ruin their souls will not believe.” (6:12)

7:51 "Say: To Allah."

7:53 “Say: Unto whom belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and the earth? Say: Unto Allah. He hath prescribed for Himself mercy, that He may bring you all together to the Day of Resurrection whereof there is no doubt. Those who ruin their souls will not believe.” (6:12)

7:57 "He will surely gather you together for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt."

8:04 "Those who have lost themselves will not believe."

8:11 Say, O Muhammad:

8:13 "To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth?"

8:17 Say: "To Allah, who has subjected all things to His servitude

8:20 and vanquished everything through His dominion and sovereignty."

8:24 He has decreed that He is merciful to His servants,

8:27 not hastening their punishment,

8:30 so Allah will surely gather you, O you who equate others with Him, for the Day of Resurrection,

8:35 for it is a day concerning which there is no doubt,

8:37 in order to take vengeance upon you for your disbelief in Him.

8:40 Those who have destroyed themselves and cheated their own souls

8:44 by claiming rivals and equals alongside Allah,

8:47 because they destroyed themselves, they do not affirm Allah's Oneness,

8:51 nor do they believe in His promise and threat,

8:54 nor do they acknowledge the prophethood of Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
