0:00 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:12 Surah al-Mursalat.

0:16 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:23 By those sent forth in succession.

0:25 And those that storm with fury.

0:29 And those that scatter with force.

0:33 And those that separate with distinction.

0:35 And those that deliver the message.

0:38 As an excuse or a warning.

0:41 Indeed, what you are promised is bound to happen.

0:46 Allah swears by the angels sent forth, one following the other.

0:51 They may be sent as angels, or as winds.

0:54 Or as a messenger from the children of Adam.

0:57 They are the winds that blow with great intensity.

1:00 And pass by with great speed.

1:02 And Allah swears by those that scatter with force.

1:05 For the wind scatters the clouds.

1:08 And the rain spreads life across the earth.

1:10 And the angels scatter the records of deeds.

1:13 And our Lord swears by those that distinguish between truth and falsehood.

1:17 Whether it be an angel or the Qur’an.

1:21 For they are the ones who deliver the revelation of Allah to His messengers.

1:23 These are the angels.

1:25 Delivering it as an excuse from Allah to His creation and a warning to them.

1:30 Indeed, that which you are promised, O people, regarding these matters,

1:33 Will inevitably come to pass on the Day of Resurrection.

1:38 So when the stars are extinguished.

1:41 And when the heaven is cleft asunder.

1:45 And when the mountains are blown away.

1:48 And when the messengers are gathered at an appointed time.

1:51 For what Day has this been deferred?

1:54 For the Day of Judgment.

1:56 “And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! -” (77:14)

1:59 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

2:06 When the stars lose their radiance.

2:09 So they have neither light nor glow.

2:12 And when the heaven is split and cracked.

2:15 And when the mountains are uprooted from their foundations.

2:18 And become like scattered dust.

2:21 And when the messengers are deferred to be gathered at their appointed time on the Day of Resurrection.

2:26 For what Day were the messengers deferred and appointed?

2:30 How great and terrifying is that Day!

2:32 It is deferred for the Day on which Allah will judge between His creation.

2:37 He will take justice for the oppressed from the oppressor.

2:40 He will reward the doer of good for their goodness.

2:42 And the evildoer for their evil.

2:45 And what could make you know, O Muhammad, what the Day of Judgment is?

2:49 Magnifying thereby its significance and the intensity of its terror.

2:53 The valley that flows in Hell from the discharge of its inhabitants.

2:58 For those who deny the Day of Judgment.

3:02 Did We not destroy the former peoples?

3:05 Then We will follow them with the latter ones.

3:10 Thus do We deal with the criminals.

3:14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

3:21 Did We not destroy the past nations who denied My messengers and rejected My signs?

3:26 Like the people of Nuh, ‘Ad, and Thamud.

3:30 Then We follow them with those who come after them.

3:32 From among those who followed their path in disbelief in Me and My messengers.

3:37 Just as We destroyed those for their disbelief.

3:40 Such is My way regarding their likes among the disbelieving nations.

3:44 We destroy the criminals for their crimes when they transgress and act insolently.

3:49 Woe, that Day, to those who deny the tidings of Allah and reject His power.

3:56 “Did We not create you from a base fluid” (77:20)

4:03 “Which We laid up in a safe abode” (77:21)

4:08 To a known term.

4:12 And We determined, and excellent are We who determine.

4:16 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

4:22 Did We not create you, O people, from a weak drop of fluid?

4:26 And We placed the despised fluid in a stable place, the womb, where it settled.

4:32 Until a time known to Allah for its emergence from the womb.

4:36 And We determined, and excellent are We who determine.

4:39 Woe, that Day, to those who deny that Allah created them from a despised fluid.

4:46 “Have We not made the earth a receptacle” (77:25)

4:50 Both the living and the dead.

4:54 And We placed therein lofty, firm mountains.

4:59 And We gave you sweet water to drink.

5:08 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

5:15 Did We not make the earth, O people, a container for you?

5:19 Holding your living in dwellings and homes.

5:23 Gathering and containing them therein.

5:26 And your dead in its depths, in the graves where they are buried.

5:31 And We placed on the earth firm, towering, and lofty mountains.

5:37 And We gave you sweet water to drink.

5:40 Woe, that Day, to those who deny these blessings that I have bestowed upon you, by disbelieving in the Creator of them.

5:49 “(It will be said unto them:) Depart unto that (doom) which ye used to deny;” (77:29)

5:57 Proceed to a shadow of three columns.

6:04 Which provides no shade and avails nothing against the flame.

6:09 “Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles,” (77:32)

6:14 As if they were yellow camels.

6:19 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

6:26 It will be said to these people who denied these blessings and proofs on the Day of Resurrection:

6:32 Proceed to that which you used to deny in the world, the punishment of Allah.

6:37 Proceed to the shadow of smoke which, when it rises, splits into three branches.

6:44 It neither shades them from its heat nor protects them from its flame.

6:49 Indeed, Hell throws sparks as large as a great fortress.

6:53 As if the sparks that Hell throws are like yellow camels.

6:58 And the term 'jamalat' is the plural of 'jamal' (camel).

7:01 Woe, on the Day of Resurrection, to the deniers.

7:05 “This is a day wherein they speak not,” (77:35)

7:10 “Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses.” (77:36)

7:15 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

7:21 This is a Day when the deniers will not speak of Allah’s reward or punishment.

7:26 Nor will they be permitted to offer excuses for the sins they committed in the world.

7:32 Woe, that Day, to those who deny the news from Allah regarding these people.

7:37 And what He will do to them on the Day of Resurrection.

7:42 “This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together.” (77:38)

7:48 “If now ye have any wit, outwit Me.” (77:39)

7:53 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

7:59 This is the Day of Judgment, on which Allah will judge between His servants with truth.

8:06 We have gathered you and all those who came before you from the perished nations.

8:12 And Allah will fulfill for you what He promised you in the world of punishment for your denial.

8:18 So if you have any trick to escape His punishment today, then use it.

8:25 Woe, that Day, to those who deny this news.

8:30 “Lo! those who kept their duty are amid shade and fountains,” (77:41)

8:36 And fruits from whatever they desire.

8:41 Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do.

8:49 Indeed, thus do We reward the doers of good.

8:54 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

9:00 Indeed, those who feared the punishment of Allah.

9:03 By performing His obligatory duties in the world and avoiding His prohibitions.

9:07 Shall be in shades of cool shelter.

9:10 Where they will be afflicted by neither the harm of heat nor cold.

9:13 And rivers flowing through the trees of their gardens.

9:17 And fruits they eat from whenever they desire.

9:21 They fear neither their harm nor any evil consequence.

9:26 Eat, O people, from these fruits.

9:29 And drink from these springs whenever you desire.

9:33 In satisfaction, with no disturbance or distress in what you eat and drink.

9:39 Rather, it is everlasting for you and will not cease.

9:42 And wholesome, causing you no pain in your bodies.

9:46 As a reward for what you used to do in the world of obedience to Allah.

9:51 And striving in that which brings you closer to Him.

9:54 Indeed, just as We rewarded these righteous ones.

9:58 So do We reward and recompense the people of excellence.

10:01 And We do not let their reward go to waste in the Hereafter.

10:05 Woe to those who deny the news of Allah regarding what He has informed them of.

10:10 Concerning the honoring of these righteous ones with what He will honor them with on the Day of Resurrection.

10:17 “Eat and take your ease (on earth) a little. Lo! ye are guilty.” (77:46)

10:24 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

10:31 The Almighty says, as a threat and warning from Him to those who deny the Resurrection:

10:37 Eat in the remainder of your terms and enjoy the remainder of your lives, for you are criminals.

10:45 You are following the same path as those before you from the criminal nations of the past.

10:50 Who enjoyed their lives until they reached their appointed times.

10:55 Then Allah took vengeance upon them for their disbelief and their denial of His messengers.

11:00 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

11:03 Those who denied the news of Allah that He informed them of regarding what He will do to them in this verse.

11:10 “When it is said unto them: Bow down, they bow not down!” (77:48)

11:17 Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

11:23 Then in what hadith after this will they believe?

11:32 And when it is said to these criminal deniers of Allah’s warning, "Bow down," they do not bow.

11:42 Woe to those who denied the messengers of Allah and rejected what they conveyed to them of Allah’s commands and prohibitions.

11:50 Then in what hadith after this Qur’an, with its clear proofs and valid evidence, will they believe?
