In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:03
Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08
It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:14
Surah Al-Furqan
0:16
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:22
Those who do not hope to meet us said
0:27
If only the angels had not descended upon us, or had we seen our Lord
0:34
They were arrogant in themselves and extremely arrogant
0:41
And the polytheists who are not afraid to meet us said
0:46
Did God not send down angels to us so that they could tell us that Muhammad is right in what he says?
0:53
Or we see our Lord and He tells us that
0:57
Those who said this article were arrogant in themselves
1:01
They went beyond arrogance by saying that
1:05
On the day they see the angels, there will be no good news on that day for the criminals
1:18
They say it is a blocked stone
1:23
The day those who said will be seen
1:27
If only the angels had not descended upon us, or had we seen our Lord
1:32
On the day they see the angels, there will be no good news for them on that day
1:37
Angels say to criminals
1:40
Forbidden and forbidden to you today is the good news that you will have from God
1:46
We presented the work they had done and made it in vain
1:58
We deliberately did what these criminals did
2:02
So we made it invalid
2:04
Like the appearance of dust if sunlight enters through a skylight
2:08
The observer thinks it is dust and nothing
2:12
The companions of Paradise on that day will have a better place to stay and a better resting place
2:24
The people of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection are better and stable
2:28
It is the place where they settle
2:32
Who are these polytheists who are proud of their money?
2:37
And the best of them is in it
2:40
And the day the sky will be divided with clouds
2:45
And the angels descended
2:50
The kingdom on that day belongs to the Most Merciful
2:55
It was a difficult day for the unbelievers
3:02
On the Day of Resurrection, when the sky will be split with clouds
3:06
The angels descend to earth
3:10
The true kingdom on that day belongs purely to the Most Merciful, to the exclusion of anyone else
3:16
The day the sky was split with clouds was a very difficult day for the people of disbelief in God
3:25
And the day the oppressor bites his hands, he will say:
3:29
I wish I had taken a path with the Messenger
3:33
Oh, I wish I had not taken so-and-so as a friend
3:39
And the day the oppressor himself bites the polytheist with his Lord on his hands
3:46
Regretting and regretting what was wrong with God
3:50
And he says
3:52
I wish I had taken a path to salvation from the punishment of God in this world with the Messenger
3:58
Oh, I wish I had not taken so-and-so as a friend
4:02
And so-and-so was said to be Ubayy ibn Khalaf, and it was said to be Satan
4:09
He led me astray from the Remembrance after it had come to me
4:16
Satan was a traitor to man
4:23
He led me astray from believing in the Qur’an after it came to me from God
4:30
So he turned me away from him
4:32
Satan was a Muslim to man due to the affliction he inflicted on him
4:37
Not a savior or a savior
4:41
The Messenger said, O Lord, some people have considered this Qur’an abandoned
4:49
The Messenger said, “The day the oppressor bites his hands.”
4:54
O Lord, the people to whom You sent me
4:58
They considered this Qur’an abandoned
5:01
They turned away from him and did not hear him
5:04
Likewise, We made for every prophet an enemy from among the criminals
5:13
And your Lord is sufficient as a guide and helper
5:20
And just as We have made for you, O Muhammad, enemies from among the polytheists of your people
5:26
Thus We made for everyone whom We informed before you an enemy from among the polytheists of his people
5:32
None of them were singled out for that
5:35
O Muhammad, your Lord is sufficient as a guide to guide you to the truth
5:40
And a supporter for you over your enemies
5:43
Do not let your polytheist enemies terrorize you
5:47
I will support you against them
5:52
And those who disbelieved said, “If only the Qur’an had not been revealed to him in one sentence.”
5:59
Likewise, let us strengthen your heart with it
6:03
We recited it in a hymn
6:07
And those who disbelieved said
6:09
Was the Qur’an not revealed to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, in one sentence?
6:15
The Torah was also revealed to Moses in one sentence
6:21
God said
6:22
Likewise, it was revealed to you verse after verse
6:26
Let us correct your heart’s resolve and your soul’s certainty with it
6:31
And one thing after another we taught you until you memorized it
6:36
They will not bring you an example except that we will bring you the truth and the best explanation
6:44
O Muhammad, let these polytheists not come to you with an example that they can use
6:51
Unless we bring you the truth with what we nullify what he brought
6:55
It is better than what he gave of the proverb in explanation and detail
7:00
Those who will be gathered on their faces to Hell
7:06
Those are in a worse place and more astray from the path
7:19
These are the polytheists, O Muhammad, who say to you
7:23
If the Qur’an had not been revealed to him in one sentence
7:27
Those who will be gathered on their faces to Hell on the Day of Resurrection
7:33
They will be led to Hell
7:35
An evil residing in this world and the hereafter from the people of Paradise in Paradise
7:41
And more misguided than them in this world
7:45
And We gave Moses the Book
7:48
And We made his brother Aaron with him a minister
7:53
So we said: “He went to the people who denied Our signs.”
7:58
So we destroyed them completely
8:04
And We gave Moses the Torah
8:07
And We made with him his brother Aaron a helper and supporter
8:11
So we told them
8:13
Go to Pharaoh and his people who denied our information and evidence
8:19
So we destroyed them completely
8:24
When Noah's people denied the messengers, We drowned them
8:30
And We made them a sign for mankind
8:33
And We have prepared for the wrongdoers a painful punishment
8:40
And the people of Noah when they denied Our messengers
8:43
We drowned them in a flood
8:46
And We made our drowning of them a sermon and a lesson for the people to take into account
8:52
And We have prepared for them in the Hereafter a painful punishment
8:56
Aad, Thamud, and the Companions of Ar-Rass
9:02
And many centuries in between
9:06
And we gave him proverbs
9:11
And we both exonerated each other
9:16
We also destroyed Aad, Thamud, and the Companions of Ar-Rass
9:21
They were a people who were at a well
9:24
And We destroyed many of these nations, which we have named for you as many nations
9:30
And all these nations that we destroyed
9:34
Like us, she has proverbs
9:36
We alerted her to our arguments against her
9:39
We did not destroy a nation until after informing them of their excuse
9:44
And all of those whose affairs we mentioned to you
9:48
We eradicated them
9:50
So We destroyed them with torment and destroyed them all
9:55
They came to the village that rained bad rain
10:03
Did they not see it? Rather, they did not hope for resurrection
10:11
Those who had abandoned the Qur’an came to the village that God had rained stones on and destroyed them therein
10:20
It is Sodom, the village of Lot's people
10:25
Didn't these polytheists see that village?
10:29
And the punishment of God befell her
10:31
They consider and remember
10:34
They did not deny Muhammad in what he brought to them from God
10:39
Because they had not seen what happened to the village that was described
10:44
But they denied him because they are people who do not fear resurrection after death
11:02
And if these polytheists see you
11:05
They only treat you as a mockery, making fun of you
11:09
They say
11:11
Is this the one whom God sent to us as a messenger from among His creation?
11:32
This almost led us astray from our gods that we worship
11:38
It prevents us from worshiping it if we had not been patient with it
11:42
It will be made clear to them when they see the punishment of God that has befallen them
11:47
Whoever rides on a path other than guidance
11:50
And you seek a way in return
11:53
You are delusional
11:56
Have you seen him who takes his own desires as his god? Will you be a guardian over him?
12:28
Or do you think that most of them listen or understand?
12:37
They are only like cattle, nay, they are more astray from the path
12:44
Or do you think, O Muhammad, that most of these polytheists hear what is recited to them?
12:51
So they understand or understand what they see of God’s arguments
12:55
They are nothing but animals that do not understand what is said to them
13:01
Rather, they are animals more astray from the path
13:05
Because the animals are guided to their pastures and submitted to their masters
13:11
These infidels do not obey their Lord
13:15
They are not grateful for the blessings of those who bestowed upon them
13:20
Have you not seen your Lord how He extended the shadow, and if He had willed, He could have made it stationary?
13:28
If He had willed, He would have made it stationary, then We made the sun a guide for it
13:38
Have you not seen, O Muhammad, how your Lord extends the shadow?
13:42
It is between dawn and sunrise
13:46
If He had willed, He would have made it permanent and never fade away
13:49
Stretched out and not diminished by the sun
13:53
Then We showed you, O people, that it was replaced by the sun when it rose upon it
13:59
He is a creation of your Lord
14:02
He creates it if He wants and destroys it if He wants
14:07
Then We took him into our hands for a short time
14:16
Then we captured that evidence from the sun over the shadow to us in a hidden and quick way
14:23
With the spoils that we bring in the evening
14:26
Because the shadow after sunset does not disappear completely at once
14:30
Darkness cannot be accepted as a whole
14:34
But he takes hold of that shadow secretly
14:38
Little by little
14:40
Every part of him is followed by a part of darkness
15:02
Which is the extent of the shadow and then made the sun a guide to it
15:06
It is He who has made a garment for you, O people, tonight
15:11
And make sleep a rest for your bodies
15:16
And make the day full of life
15:20
It is He who sends the winds bringing good tidings of His mercy
15:27
And We sent down from the sky pure water
15:35
Let us revive the town of Nita and water it
15:40
And We give it to drink from among the many livestock and people We have created
15:48
It is God who sends the winds that fertilize life
15:53
Or from life and the rain that He sends down upon His servants
15:58
And We sent down from the clouds pure water
16:01
Let us revive a barren land with him
16:04
And We give water to it from whom We have created, livestock, animals, and many people
16:10
And We have distributed it among them so that they may remember, but most of the people refused except as ungrateful
16:20
We have divided this water which We sent down from the sky
16:27
So that they may remember My blessings upon them and thank My goodness to them
16:32
Most people refused but were ungrateful to my blessings upon them
16:37
If We had willed, We could have sent a warner to every town
16:45
So do not obey the disbelievers, and fight them with a great struggle
16:53
If we had wished, O Muhammad, we could have sent a warner to all of Egypt and every city
17:00
He warns them of Our sorrow for their disbelief in us
17:03
Many of the burdens we burdened you with will be lightened for you
17:07
This means that you will lose a lot of provisions
17:11
But we burdened you with the burden of all the villages
17:15
If you are patient, your patience with him will require the honor that God has prepared for you with Him
17:22
Do not obey the unbelievers in what they call you to do, such as worship their gods
17:28
But he struggled against them with this Qur’an with a great struggle
17:33
Until he is led to acknowledge what is in it and submit to acting on it
