0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:14 Surat Al-Shu'ara
0:18 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23 Give full measure and do not be among those who lose
0:28 They were weighed using a straight scale
0:33 And do not deprive people of their things
0:38 And do not act chastely on earth, spreading corruption
0:42 And fear Him who created you and those who created the first
0:49 Give people their due rights
0:52 Do not be among those who lack their rights
0:56 Weigh with a straight balance, in which there is no depreciation against whomever you weigh
1:01 People do not lose their rights to measure or weight
1:05 And do not spread corruption on earth
1:08 And fear, O people, the punishment of your Lord, who created you and created the first creation
1:16 They said, “You are one of those who are enchanted.”
1:22 You are only human like us, and you think that you are one of the liars
1:32 Then drop on us a piece of heaven if you are of the truthful ones
1:43 They said, “You, Shuaib, are just a reasoner.”
1:47 You explain food and drink as we explain them
1:51 I am not a king
1:53 You are only human beings like us who eat and drink
1:57 We do not expect you to do what you tell us and call us to
2:01 Except for those who lie about what they say
2:04 If you are honest in what you say, you are the Messenger of God as you claim
2:09 Then pieces of the sky fell on us
2:14 He said, “My Lord knows best what you do.”
2:18 So they denied him, so the torment of the Day of Shadow befell them
2:23 It was the torment of a great day
2:29 Shuaib said to his people
2:31 My Lord knows best what you do
2:34 He is surrounded by your deeds
2:36 And He will reward you with it
2:39 So his people lied to him
2:41 So the torment of the Day of Shadow seized them
2:44 It is a cloud that misled them
2:46 When they finished under it
2:49 A fire blazed over them and burned them
2:53 The torment of the Day of Shadow was the torment of a great day
3:02 Therefore, most of them were believers
3:07 Indeed, your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful
3:14 The people of Shuaib are torturing us
3:18 A sign for your people, O Muhammad
3:20 Most of them were not believers as far as we knew about them
3:25 Indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, is the Mighty in His vengeance
3:29 Whoever took revenge on his enemies
3:31 Most Merciful to those of His creation who repent
3:34 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds
3:41 The faithful Spirit descended upon him
3:45 On your heart so that you may be among the warners
3:51 In clear Arabic language
3:55 Indeed, it is in the penis of the ancients
4:02 This Qur’an was revealed by the Lord of the Worlds
4:08 Gabriel, the faithful spirit, sent him down
4:11 So he recited it to you, O Muhammad, until you understood it in your heart
4:15 To be one of God's messengers who used to warn those of their people sent to him
4:22 And warn your people in the Arabic language
4:25 It is clear to those who hear him that he is an Arab
4:28 Indeed, this Qur’an is in the books of the ancients
4:33 Did they not have a sign that the scholars of the Children of Israel should teach it?
4:44 Were they not those who turned away from the remembrance of your Lord that comes to you, O Muhammad?
4:50 An indication that you are the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds
4:54 That the scholars of the Children of Israel know the truth and validity of this
5:00 Even if we revealed it to some foreigners
5:05 So he recited it to them as long as they were believers
5:12 Even if We sent down this Qur’an to some of the splendor of the unspeakable
5:17 So recite this Qur’an to the infidels of your people, O Muhammad
5:21 They would not have believed in him
5:24 Because of the misery that had happened to them previously
5:28 This is an entertainment from God, His Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, on behalf of his people
5:34 So that his distress would not become more intense by them turning away from him
5:38 And their refusal to listen to this Qur’an
5:43 Thus We have implanted it into the hearts of criminals
5:48 They will not believe in him until they see the painful torment
5:54 Then it will come to them suddenly and they do not realize it
6:00 They say: Are we theorists?
6:06 Likewise, We have introduced denial and disbelief into the hearts of criminals
6:11 We did this to them so that they would not believe in this Qur’an
6:15 Until they see the painful torment in the immediate future of this world
6:19 This was also seen by the nations whose stories God told in this Surah
6:25 Then suddenly a painful punishment will come to those who deny this Qur’an
6:30 They did not know before that of his coming
6:34 Until he surprises them suddenly
6:36 They say: Are we being spared the torment?
6:40 And in our time, let us repent
6:44 Are they hastening to punish us?
6:49 What do you think if we entertain them for years?
6:53 Then what they had been promised came to them
7:00 The enjoyment they had was of no use to them
7:08 Are these polytheists hastening to punish Us?
7:12 By their saying, “We will not believe in you until the sky falls as you claimed on us.”
7:18 What do you think if we entertain them for years?
7:21 Then came to them the torment that they were threatened with because of their disbelief in Our verses and their denial of Our Messenger
7:29 Anything that will save them from the delay that We delayed in their time
7:34 And the enjoyment we gave them from life
7:38 Because they did not repent of their polytheism
7:40 Is it of any benefit to them that we enjoy anything?
7:43 Rather, it harmed them by increasing their sins
7:48 We destroyed not a single town except that it had warners
7:55 Remember, and we were not unjust
8:01 We did not destroy any of the villages described in these surahs
8:06 Only after We sent to them messengers warning them of Our punishment
8:11 A reminder to them and a warning of what will save them from our torment
8:17 And we were not unjust to them in destroying them
8:22 And what the devils descended upon
8:26 What they should and what they can
8:31 They are isolated from hearing
8:38 The devils did not descend upon Muhammad with this Qur’an
8:43 And the devils should not bring it down upon him
8:47 And they can't afford it
8:50 The devils are isolated from hearing the Qur’an from the place in which it is in heaven
8:57 How can they get down with him?
9:01 Do not call upon another god with God, lest you be among those who are tormented
9:10 So, O Muhammad, do not call upon anyone other than Him to be worshiped with God
9:14 The torment that befell those who disobeyed our command and worshiped others will befall you
9:21 And warn your closest clan
9:27 And lower your wings to those of the believers who follow you
9:32 If they disobey you, say, “I am innocent of what you do.”
9:43 And warn your clan of people who are closest to you by blood
9:48 And warn them of our torment
9:50 And now your side and your words are for those of the believers who follow you
9:55 If your closest relatives disobey you, O Muhammad
9:59 So tell them that I am innocent of what you do of worshiping idols
10:05 And put your trust in the Mighty, the Merciful
10:11 Who sees you when you rise
10:15 And turn you into those who prostrate
10:19 He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing
10:26 And trust in the Almighty in his vengeance against his enemies
10:30 Merciful to those who turn to Him and repent of their sins
10:35 Who sees you when you stand up for your prayer
10:38 He sees your fluctuation among those who trust you between standing, kneeling, prostrating, and sitting
10:45 Your Lord is the Hearer of your recitation, O Muhammad, and your remembrance in your prayers
10:50 The One Who knows what you do in it and whoever changes with you does in it
10:56 So recite the Qur’an there and establish its boundaries
11:00 For you are a witness from your Lord and a listener
11:04 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend?
11:10 It descends on all your sinful axes
11:15 They listen and most of them are liars
11:20 Shall I inform you, O people, upon whom the devils descend from among the people?
11:26 It descends on every liar and sinner
11:30 The devils listen
11:32 It is what they hear from what they have eavesdropped on when it occurred from heaven
11:38 To all your sinful abominations among their friends among the children of Adam
11:43 And the devils descend upon them most
11:46 They are liars in what they say and tell
11:50 The poets are followed by the poets
11:57 Have you not seen that they wander in every valley?
12:04 And they say what they do not do
12:11 Except those who believe and do righteous deeds
12:15 They mentioned God a lot
12:19 They mentioned God a lot
12:21 And they were victorious after they were wronged
12:28 And those who wronged will know which way to turn
12:41 The poets of the polytheists are followed by the temptations of the people
12:45 And the rebellious devils and the disobedient jinn
12:48 Have you not seen, O Muhammad, that poets go to every valley?
12:53 Like a wanderer on his face unintentionally
12:56 Rather, he is unjust to the truth and the path of guidance
13:00 They falsely praise some people and insult others with lies and falsehood
13:06 Except those who believe and do righteous deeds
13:09 They mentioned God a lot in their words
13:12 And they were defeated by their method from the polytheist poets unjustly
13:17 They responded to what they attacked them with
13:20 And those who wronged themselves by committing polytheism with God will learn from the people of Mecca
13:26 Which reference do they refer to?
13:28 What place will they return to after their death?
13:32 For they will become a fire whose flames will never be quenched and whose flame will not subside
