0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:24 Taha. We have not sent down the Qur’an to you to cause you distress.

0:31 “But as a reminder unto him who feareth,” (20:3)

0:36 O man.

0:38 We have not sent down the Qur’an to you to cause you distress by our revealing it to you.

0:42 We have sent it down only as a reminder to those who fear the punishment of Allah.

0:47 So they may guard against it by performing His obligatory acts and avoiding His prohibitions.

0:52 It is a revelation from Him who created the earth and the high heavens.

1:00 “The Beneficent One, Who is established on the Throne.” (20:5)

1:30 “Allah! There is no Allah save Him. His are the most beautiful names.” (20:8)

1:39 To Allah belongs all that is in the heavens, all that is on the earth, and all that is between them.

1:44 And all that is beneath the moist, damp soil.

1:47 He is the Disposer of all these affairs and the Controller of them all.

1:51 And if you, O Muhammad, speak aloud or keep it secret, it is all the same to your Lord.

1:56 For nothing is hidden from Him, whether you keep it secret within yourself or leave it unspoken.

2:02 And He knows what is even more hidden than a secret.

2:03 This is what Allah knows of that which is hidden from His servants—things that have not yet come to pass and which they do not know.

2:10 Allah is the Worshipped One, to whom alone worship is due.

2:15 So worship Him alone, O people, and none other than Him.

2:19 To your Lord, O people, belong the Most Beautiful Names.

2:27 When he saw a fire and said to his family, "Stay here, for I have perceived a fire."

2:35 “When he saw a fire and said unto his folk: Lo! Wait! I see a fire afar off. Peradventure I may bring you a brand therefrom or may find guidance at the fire.” (20:10)

3:42 The reason for which Allah commanded Musa, peace be upon him, to take off his sandals.

3:47 Was so that his feet might touch the blessing of the valley.

3:50 For it was a sacred valley, and Tuwa is the name of that valley.

3:57 “And I have chosen thee, so hearken unto that which is inspired.” (20:13)

4:01 “Lo! I, even I, am Allah, There is no Allah save Me. So serve Me and establish worship for My remembrance.” (20:14)

4:11 And it was proclaimed: "We have chosen you, so We have selected you for Our message."

4:16 "So listen to the revelation We inspire in you, comprehend it, and act upon it."

4:21 "Indeed, I am the Worshipped One, to whom alone worship is due; there is no god but Me."

4:27 "So devote your worship sincerely to Me, apart from all that is worshipped besides Me."

4:32 "And establish prayer to remember Me therein."

4:36 “Lo! the Hour is surely coming. But I will to keep it hidden, that every soul may be rewarded for that which it striveth (to achieve).” (20:15)

4:46 “Therefor, let not him turn thee aside from (the thought of) it who believeth not therein but followeth his own desire, lest thou perish.” (20:16)

4:55 Indeed, the Hour in which Allah will resurrect the creatures from their graves.

5:00 Is coming; I almost keep it hidden from Myself, so that no one may know of it.

5:06 So that every soul may be rewarded for what it did—whether good or evil—as its Lord tested it with worship in this world.

5:13 So do not let those who do not believe in the coming of the Hour turn you away from preparing for it, O Musa.

5:19 And who do not believe in the resurrection after death.

5:22 And who follow their own desires and oppose the command and prohibition of Allah.

5:27 For you would perish if you were to be diverted from preparing for the Hour and from believing in it.

5:33 "And what is that in your right hand, O Musa?"

5:37 “He said: This is my staff whereon I lean, and wherewith I bear down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses.” (20:18)

5:44 “He said: This is my staff whereon I lean, and wherewith I bear down branches for my sheep, and wherein I find other uses.” (20:18)

5:51 "And what is this that is in your right hand, O Musa?"

5:55 Musa said, "It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I beat down leaves with it for my sheep."

6:02 "So that their leaves fall, and my sheep graze upon them."

6:06 "And I have other uses for this staff of mine."

6:10 He said, "Throw it down, O Musa." So he threw it down, and behold, it was a snake, moving swiftly.

6:18 “He said: Grasp it and fear not. We shall return it to its former state.” (20:21)

6:26 Allah said to Musa, "Throw down the staff that is in your right hand, O Musa."

6:32 So Musa threw it down, and Allah made it a snake, moving swiftly.

6:36 Before that, it had been a dry piece of wood.

6:40 Allah said to Musa, "Take the snake, and do not fear it."

6:45 "For We shall restore it to its original state."

6:48 "And We shall return it to being a staff as it was before."

6:52 “And thrust thy hand within thine armpit, it will come forth white without hurt. (That will be) another token.” (20:22)

7:03 “That We may show thee (some) of Our greater portents,” (20:23)

7:07 "And draw your hand, O Musa, close to your side."

7:12 It is mentioned that Musa, peace be upon him, was a dark-skinned man.

7:16 So he put his hand into his garment, then drew it out, white without any leprosy.

7:22 Then he returned it, and it came out as it was, matching his skin color.

7:26 This was another sign, besides the transformation of the staff.

7:30 Confirming the truth of the message with which We sent you.

7:33 So that We might show you some of Our greatest signs of Our immense authority and power.

8:05 "Go, O Musa, to Pharaoh."

8:08 "Indeed, he has exceeded all bounds and rebelled against his Lord."

8:12 "So call him to the oneness of Allah and to His obedience."

8:15 Musa said, "My Lord, expand for me my chest."

8:19 "So that I may comprehend from You what You entrust to me of Your revelation."

8:22 "And make easy for me the task of fulfilling the message You have charged me with."

8:26 "And loosen the knot from my tongue, that they may understand my speech."

8:29 "So that they may understand what I address them with and what I debate with them."

8:34 "And appoint for me a helper from my family, Harun (Aaron), my brother."

8:57 "Strengthen my back through him, and let him share in my task."

8:59 "And make him a prophet, just as You have made me a prophet."

9:03 "So that we may glorify You with much exaltation."

9:07 "And remember You often, so that we may praise You."

9:10 "Indeed, You have always been All-Seeing of us."

9:12 Nothing of our actions is hidden from You.

9:28 Allah said to Musa, peace be upon him:

9:31 "You have been granted what you asked for, O Musa."

9:34 "And indeed, We have favored you, O Musa, before this time, another time."

10:04 "When you were taken from me, and you were brought up under My watchful eye."

10:11 “When thy sister went and said: Shall I show you one who will nurse him? and we restored thee to thy mother that her eyes might be refreshed and might not sorrow. And thou didst kill a man and We delivered thee from great distress, and tried thee with a heavy trial. And thou didst tarry years among the folk of Midian. Then camest thou (hither) by (My) providence, O Moses,” (20:40)

10:17 "So We returned you to your mother, that her eye might be comforted and she might not grieve."

10:24 "And you killed a man, so We saved you from distress and tried you with a severe trial."

10:32 "And you stayed for years among the people of Madyan, then you came at the appointed time, O Musa."

10:42 This was when We inspired your mother.

10:45 When she gave birth to you in the year that Pharaoh was killing every male newborn of your people, We inspired her:

10:53 "Put your son, Musa, into the chest."

10:56 "Then cast it into the Nile."

10:58 "The river will cast it onto the bank."

11:00 “Saying: Throw him into the ark, and throw it into the river, then the river shall throw it on to the bank, and there an enemy to Me and an enemy to him shall take him. And I endued thee with love from Me that thou mightest be trained according to My will,” (20:39)

11:04 This was Pharaoh, who was an enemy to Allah and to Musa.

11:09 And Allah cast His love upon Musa.

11:12 So He made him beloved to Asiya, the wife of Pharaoh.

11:16 Until she adopted him and nurtured him.

11:18 And Pharaoh was kept away from him, so that his evil did not reach him.

11:23 "And that you might be brought up under My watchful eye."

11:25 By My protection, love, and will.

11:28 When your sister walked along, following you, until she found you.

11:33 Then she brought someone who would seek to nurse you.

11:36 She said:

11:37 "Shall I direct you to someone who will take him into her care?"

11:40 "And look after him, nurse him, and raise him?"

11:44 So We returned you to your mother after you had fallen into the hands of Pharaoh’s household.

11:49 So that her eye might be comforted by your safety and your salvation from being killed or drowning in the sea.

11:55 And so that she would not grieve for you out of fear that Pharaoh might kill you.

12:00 "And you killed the Copt whom you killed."

12:03 When the Israelite sought your help against him.

12:06 So We saved you from your distress by your killing the person you killed.

12:11 And We delivered you from them until you fled to the people of Madyan.

12:15 So they could not reach you to kill you or pursue you.

12:18 And We tested you with a trial and examined you with an examination.

12:22 So you left, fearing for your life, to the people of Madyan.

12:26 And you stayed for years among them.

12:28 Then you came at the time We intended to send you to Pharaoh as a messenger, and according to the measure We ordained.

12:50 And I bestowed these favors upon you, O Musa.

12:53 As a selection from Me for you, and a choice for My message and to convey from Me.

12:58 And to uphold My command and prohibition.

13:01 "Go, you and your brother Harun, with My signs and proofs."

13:05 "Go to Pharaoh."

13:07 "Indeed, he has rebelled in his transgression and error."

13:10 "So convey My messages to him."

13:13 "And do not slacken in remembering Me regarding what I have commanded you and forbidden you."

13:18 For your remembrance of Me.

13:20 Strengthens your resolve.

13:22 And makes your steps firm.

13:25 Because when you remember Me.

13:28 You remember the immense favors and countless blessings I have bestowed upon you.

13:51 "So speak to Pharaoh with gentle speech."

13:54 "Perhaps he may remember or fear Allah."

13:57 And refrain from his tyranny.

14:00 Musa and Harun said:

14:02 "Our Lord, indeed we fear Pharaoh."

14:05 "If we call him to what You have commanded us to call him to."

14:09 "That he might hasten with punishment against us."

14:13 He said, "Do not fear."

14:15 “He said: Fear not. Lo! I am with you twain, Hearing and Seeing.” (20:46)

14:20 “So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance.” (20:47)

14:25 “So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance.” (20:47)

14:29 “So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance.” (20:47)

14:33 "And do not torment them."

14:36 “So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance.” (20:47)

14:40 "And peace be upon whoever follows the guided path."

14:45 Allah said to Musa and Harun:

14:47 "Do not fear Pharaoh."

14:49 "Indeed, I am with you both, helping you against him and granting you victory."

14:54 "I hear what passes between you and him."

14:57 "So I make you understand what you should debate with him."

15:00 "And I see what you do and what he does."

15:03 Nothing of that is hidden from Me.

15:06 "So go to him and say to him:"

15:08 "Indeed, we are the messengers of your Lord to you."

15:11 "We have been sent to you; He commands you to send the Children of Israel with us."

15:16 "So send them with us."

15:18 "And do not torment them with the wretched tasks you impose upon them."

15:23 "We have come to you with a miracle from your Lord."

15:26 "As proof that He has sent us to you with this."

15:29 "If you do not believe us in what we say to you."

15:32 "And peace be upon whoever follows the guidance and revelation of Allah."

15:38 “Lo! it hath been revealed unto us that the doom will be for him who denieth and turneth away.” (20:48)

15:46 “(Pharaoh) said: Who then is the Lord of you twain, O Moses?” (20:49)

15:50 He said, "Our Lord is He who gave everything its creation, then guided it."

15:58 The Exalted says, instructing His messenger Musa and Harun:

16:02 "Say to Pharaoh: Indeed, your Lord has revealed to us."

16:07 "That His punishment, which has no end."

16:10 "Shall be upon whoever denies what we call him to of the oneness of Allah, obedience to Him, and responding to His messengers."

16:16 "And turns away, shunning the truth we have brought him."

16:21 Pharaoh said to them, "So who is your Lord, O Musa?"

16:26 Musa said to him, answering:

16:28 "Our Lord is He who gave everything its counterpart in creation, in form and appearance."

16:34 "Just as He gave the males of the children of Adam their counterparts in creation, the females, as mates."

16:41 "And just as He gave the males of the cattle their counterparts in creation, as mates."

16:47 "Then He guided them to the means by which offspring and growth are achieved, and how to attain it."

16:52 "And to all their other benefits, such as food, drink, and other things."

16:58 “He said: What then is the state of the generations of old?” (20:51)

17:02 “He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a Record. My Lord neither erreth nor forgetteth,” (20:52)

17:08 “He said: The knowledge thereof is with my Lord in a Record. My Lord neither erreth nor forgetteth,” (20:52)

17:13 Pharaoh said:

17:14 "What is the state of the past nations before us? Why did they not acknowledge what you say?"

17:20 "And why did they not believe in what you call to, and why did they not devote their worship to Him alone?"

17:24 "But instead, they worshipped gods and idols besides Him."

17:29 Musa answered him, saying:

17:31 "The knowledge of those nations that passed before us, regarding what they did of that."

17:37 "Is with my Lord in the Mother of the Book (the Preserved Tablet)."

17:39 "I have no knowledge of their affairs."

17:42 "My Lord does not err in His management or His actions."

17:45 "If He punished those generations and hastened their destruction."

17:49 "Then what He did was correct."

17:52 "And if He delayed their punishment until the Day of Resurrection."

17:55 "Then what He did was the truth."

17:57 "My Lord does not err."

17:59 "And He does not leave undone anything He has done, for it is wisdom and correctness."

18:12 “Who hath appointed the earth as a bed and hath threaded roads for you therein and hath sent down water from the sky and thereby We have brought forth divers kinds of vegetation,” (20:53)

18:20 "And We brought forth with it pairs of various plants."

18:29 "Eat and graze your livestock."

18:32 "Indeed, in that are signs for those of understanding."

18:38 "He who made the earth for you a bed."

18:41 "And traced out for you paths on the earth."

18:44 "And sent down rain from the sky."

18:47 "And brought forth with what He sent down from the sky."

18:50 "Various kinds of plants, differing in taste, scent, and appearance."

18:55 "Eat, O people, of the good things We have brought forth for you of its fruits and food."

19:01 "And what is of your sustenance and nourishment."

19:05 "And graze your livestock upon what is their provision from it."

19:08 "Indeed, in what I have described in this verse of the power of your Lord."

19:13 There are indications and signs pointing to the oneness of your Lord for those possessed of intellect and reason.
