Expel them not from their houses nor let them go forth unless they commit open immorality. Such are the limits (imposed by) Allah; and whoso transgresseth Allah's limits, he verily wrongeth his soul. Thou knowest not: it may be that Allah will afterward bring some new thing to pass.” (65:1)

1:13 O Prophet, when you divorce women.

1:17 Divorce them for their period of purity, which they can calculate for their waiting period.

1:22 Being pure without having had intercourse.

1:24 And do not divorce them during their menstruation, which they do not count as part of their waiting period.

1:30 And calculate the number of the waiting period and its cycles, and preserve them.

1:34 And fear Allah, O people, your Lord.

1:37 So beware of His disobedience, lest you transgress His limits.

1:40 Do not turn out those of your wives whom you have divorced for their waiting period from their homes.

1:46 In which you had settled them before the divorce.

1:50 Until their waiting period ends.

1:52 And do not turn them out unless they commit a clear indecency.

1:58 An indecency to whoever witnesses it or knows of it.

2:01 And indecency is every ugly matter in which one transgresses one's limit.

2:06 Adultery is among that.

2:08 As is theft and verbal abuse against in-laws.

2:11 And her leaving, moving from her house in which she is required to observe her waiting period.

2:17 So whichever of these she does while she is in her waiting period.

2:20 Her husband may turn her out of that house of hers.

2:24 Due to her committing the indecency she engaged in.

2:28 And these matters which I have clarified for you.

2:31 Are the limits of Allah which He has set for you, O people, so do not transgress them.

2:36 And whoever transgresses the limits of Allah which He has set for His creation.

2:40 Has indeed brought a sin upon himself.

2:43 And thus has become an oppressor to himself and a transgressor against it.

2:47 You do not know what might happen.

2:50 Perhaps Allah will bring about after your divorce of them a reconciliation.

3:22 That is an admonition for whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day.

3:29 “Then, when they have reached their term, take them back in kindness or part from them in kindness, and call to witness two just men among you, and keep your testimony upright for Allah. Whoso believeth in Allah and the Last Day is exhorted to act thus. And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, Allah will appoint a way out for him,” (65:2)

3:34 So when the divorced women who are in their waiting period reach their term.

3:40 And that is when the end of their waiting period is near.

3:44 Then retain them with a reconciliation, taking them back if you desire that.

3:49 In accordance with what Allah has commanded of retention.

3:51 And that is by giving her the rights which Allah has obligated upon him for her.

3:56 Of maintenance, clothing, housing, and good companionship.

4:00 Or leave them until their waiting period ends.

4:04 Then separate from them with kindness.

4:06 Meaning by fulfilling what is her right upon him.

4:10 Of the dowry and the gift of consolation, according to what He has obligated upon him for her.

4:14 And call to witness the retention if you retain them.

4:18 And that is the reconciliation.

4:20 Two just men from among you, whose religion and trustworthiness are pleasing.

4:25 And bear witness for the sake of the truth when you are called to testify.

4:28 And perform it with integrity when you are called to fulfill it.

4:33 This which I have commanded you.

4:36 And informed you of regarding the matter of divorce.

4:38 And what is due from some of you to others at the time of separation and retention.

4:43 Is an admonition from Us to you.

4:45 We admonish with it whoever possesses the quality of faith in Allah.

4:49 And whoever fears Allah, so he acts according to what He has commanded him.

4:53 And avoids what He has forbidden him.

4:55 He will make for him a way out of his affair.

4:58 By letting him know that what has been decreed must come to pass.

5:02 And that is that if the husband divorces as Allah has directed him for the waiting period.

5:08 And he does not reconcile with her during the waiting period until it ends.

5:11 Then his heart still yearns for her.

5:14 Allah makes for him a way out regarding that which his heart yearns for.

5:18 By providing him the path to propose to her and marry her again.

5:22 Whereas if he had divorced her three times, he would have no path to that.

5:27 “And will provide for him from (a quarter) whence he hath no expectation. And whosoever putteth his trust in Allah, He will suffice him. Lo! Allah bringeth His command to pass. Allah hath set a measure for all things.” (65:3)

6:04 Indeed, Allah has brought His command to pass in every situation.

6:07 Whether the servant relies upon Him or does not rely upon Him.

6:11 And those who have despaired of menstruation among your women.

6:19 If you are in doubt, their waiting period is three months.

6:28 And those who have not menstruated.

6:31 And those who are pregnant, their term is that they give birth to their burden.

6:39 “And for such of your women as despair of menstruation, if ye doubt, their period (of waiting) shall be three months, along with those who have it not. And for those with child, their period shall be till they bring forth their burden. And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, He maketh his course easy for him.” (65:4)

6:45 And the women who have lost hope of menstruation.

6:50 And do not expect to menstruate among your women.

6:54 If you, O men, are in doubt regarding the ruling concerning them.

6:58 And the pregnant women when they are divorced.

7:01 Their term for the end of their waiting period is that they give birth to their burden.

7:06 And whoever fears Allah, so he reveres Him.

7:08 Then he avoids His acts of disobedience and performs His obligatory duties.

7:11 And does not oppose His permission in the divorce of his wife.

7:14 Then Allah will make for him ease in that divorce of his.

7:19 And that is by making it easy for him if he desires the concession.

7:23 Due to his heart yearning for her.

7:25 To reconcile as long as she is in her waiting period.

7:28 And if her waiting period has ended and his heart still calls him to her.

7:32 He is able to propose to her.

7:35 “That is the commandment of Allah which He revealeth unto you. And whoso keepeth his duty to Allah, He will remit from him his evil deeds and magnify reward for him.” (65:5)

7:41 “That is the commandment of Allah which He revealeth unto you. And whoso keepeth his duty to Allah, He will remit from him his evil deeds and magnify reward for him.” (65:5)

7:47 And He will magnify for him a reward.

7:50 This which I have clarified for you regarding the ruling of divorce, reconciliation, and the waiting period.

7:56 Is the command of Allah which He has commanded you.

8:01 So that you may obey Him and act according to it.

8:04 And whoever fears Allah, so he is mindful of Him by avoiding His acts of disobedience and performing His obligatory duties.

8:14 And He will increase for him the reward for that deed and his piety.

8:18 And among His magnifying the reward for him.

8:21 Is that He will admit him into His Paradise and make him abide therein forever.

8:36 And do not harm them to distress them.

8:45 “Lodge them where ye dwell, according to your wealth, and harass them not so as to straiten life for them. And if they are with child, then spend for them till they bring forth their burden. Then, if they give suck for you, give them their due payment and consult together in kindness; but if ye make difficulties for one another, then let some other woman give suck for him (the father of the child).” (65:6)

9:01 And consult among yourselves with kindness.

9:11 Settle your divorced women in the place where you dwell, according to your means that you find.

9:20 And do not harm them in the housing in which you settle them while you have the means for housing.

9:28 And if your divorced women are pregnant and are separated from you.

9:34 Then spend on them during their waiting period from you until they give birth to their burden.

9:40 Then if your women who are separated from you nurse your children for you for a wage.

9:46 Then give them their wages for their nursing of them.

9:51 And let some of you, O people, accept from others what has been commanded of kindness.

9:56 And if the man and the woman disagree regarding the nursing of his child from her, and she refuses to nurse him.

10:02 Then he has no path over her, and he has no right to compel her to nurse him.

10:08 But he shall hire for the child a wet nurse other than his mother who is separated from him.

10:14 “Let him who hath abundance spend of his abundance, and he whose provision is measured, let him spend of that which Allah hath given him. Allah asketh naught of any soul save that which He hath given it. Allah will vouchsafe, after hardship, ease.” (65:7)

11:00 Then let him spend from what Allah has given him according to his wealth.

11:04 Allah does not burden anyone with maintenance except what He has given him.

11:09 If he is of wealth, then from his wealth.

11:12 And if his provision is restricted.

11:15 Then from what Allah has provided him according to his capacity.

11:19 Allah will bring about, after hardship, ease for the one with little wealth.

11:24 And after difficulty, abundance.

11:28 “And how many a community revolted against the ordinance of its Lord and His messengers, and We called it to a stern account and punished it with dire punishment,” (65:8)

11:34 So We called it to a severe account.

11:40 And We punished it with a terrible punishment.

11:45 “So that it tasted the ill-effects of its conduct, and the consequence of its conduct was loss.” (65:9)

11:51 And how many a town rebelled against the command of their Lord and disobeyed.

11:56 And against the command of the messengers of their Lord.

11:59 So We called it to an account that did not spare them from anything.

12:03 And We punished it with a great and terrible punishment.

12:07 And that is the punishment of Hell.

12:10 So this town tasted the consequence of what it did.

12:13 And committed of acts of disobedience to Allah and disbelief in Him.

12:16 And the outcome of their affair was loss.

12:19 Because they sold the bliss of the Hereafter for a cheap and meager portion of the world.

12:25 Allah has prepared for them a severe punishment.

12:31 “Allah hath prepared for them stern punishment; so keep your duty to Allah, O men of understanding! O ye who believe! Now Allah hath sent down unto you a reminder,” (65:10)

13:41 Allah has sent down to you, O people of understanding, a reminder from Allah for you, to remind you with it.

13:47 “A messenger reciting unto you the revelations of Allah made plain, that He may bring forth those who believe and do good works from darkness unto light. And whosoever believeth in Allah and doeth right, He will bring him into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, therein to abide for ever. Allah hath made good provision for him.” (65:11)

13:52 Clear signs for whoever hears them and contemplates them, that they are from Allah.

13:57 In order to bring out those who believed in Allah and His Messenger.

14:01 And acted according to what Allah commanded them, from disbelief to faith.

14:06 And whoever believes in Allah and acts in obedience to Him.

14:09 He will admit him into gardens beneath whose trees rivers flow.

14:14 Abiding therein forever; they will not die nor will they be brought out of them.

14:19 Allah has expanded for him in the Gardens what He has provided him therein of food and drink.

14:25 And all that He has prepared for His allies therein, so He has made it pure for them.

14:32 “Allah it is who hath created seven heavens, and of the earth the like thereof. The commandment cometh down among them slowly, that ye may know that Allah is Able to do all things, and that Allah surroundeth all things in knowledge.” (65:12)

15:39 And so that you may know that Allah encompasses everything of His creation in knowledge.

15:44 Not even the weight of an atom escapes Him in the earth or in the heaven.

15:49 Nor anything smaller than that or larger.

15:52 So fear, O you who oppose the command of your Lord, His punishment.

15:56 For there is no preventer to stop Him from punishing you.

16:00 And He is capable of that.

16:02 And He is also encompassing of your deeds.

16:05 So nothing of them is hidden from Him.

16:08 And He is counting them against you to recompense you for them.

16:12 “This day is each soul requited that which it hath earned; no wrong (is done) this day. Lo! Allah is swift at reckoning.” (40:17)
