0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammar
0:14 Surah Fussilat
0:18 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:22 Say, “Do you disbelieve in Him who created the earth in two days?”
0:29 And you make him equals
0:33 That is the Lord of the worlds
0:39 Say, “Do you disbelieve in Him who created the earth in two days?”
0:43 This is on Sunday and Monday
0:46 And you make equals to those who created this
0:50 Who did this deed and created the earth in two days
0:54 Owner of all jinn and humans
0:57 And all other races of creation
0:59 Everything below it is completely boring
1:02 How is it possible for him to have a rival?
1:06 And He placed therein mountains above it
1:10 And bless her
1:15 He estimated its sustenance therein
1:17 In four days
1:21 In four days, all the same for those who ask
1:31 And He placed mountains in the earth, solid mountains above the earth on its back
1:36 And bless the earth
1:38 So make it always good for its people
1:41 He determined the sustenance of its people on earth
1:44 This is what provides them with food and livelihood
1:48 In four days
1:50 He is emptied of the creation of the earth and all its causes and benefits
1:55 Of trees and water in four days
1:59 The first one is on Sunday
2:01 The last of them is on the fourth day
2:03 Its sustenances are equal to those who ask for it
2:07 For what they need
2:09 And what works for them
2:13 Then he turned to the sky while it was smoke
2:18 The ruler of the land said to her: They came willingly or unwillingly
2:24 She said: We came obediently
2:31 Then he rose to the sky
2:33 God said to heaven and earth
2:36 Bring what I created in you
2:39 As for you, Sky?
2:41 So reveal what I created in you of the sun, moon, and stars
2:46 And as for you, Earth?
2:48 So bring out what I created in you of trees, fruits, and plants
2:52 And break away from the rivers
2:55 She said
2:56 We brought what you created in us
3:00 Responding to your command
3:03 He spent seven heavens in two days
3:07 And He revealed its command to every heaven
3:12 And We adorned the lower heaven with lamps and protection
3:19 That is the appreciation of the Almighty, the All-Knowing
3:25 He created seven heavens in two days
3:29 This is on Thursday and Friday
3:33 And it was cast into each of the seven heavens
3:36 What he wanted from creation
3:39 And We have adorned the lower heaven, O people, with stars
3:43 This is what I described to you
3:45 Appreciation of the Almighty in his vengeance against his enemies
3:49 He knows the secrets of His servants and their revelations
3:54 If they turn away, then say, “I warn you about its attack.”
3:58 Such as Saat Ad and Thamud
4:03 When the messengers came to them from before them
4:08 And behind them
4:10 Do not worship anyone but God
4:13 They said: If our Lord had willed, He would have sent down angels
4:19 We will receive what you sent
4:23 If these polytheists turn away from this argument
4:27 So tell them
4:28 I warn you people with a thunderbolt
4:32 You will be destroyed like the thunderbolt of Ad and Thamud
4:35 When the messengers came to Ad and Thamud from before them
4:40 They are the messengers who came to their fathers
4:43 And behind them
4:45 And behind the messengers who were sent are messengers
4:48 And behind the messengers who were sent are messengers
4:51 And behind the messengers who were sent are messengers
4:55 The messengers came to them telling them not to worship anyone but God
5:01 They said to their messengers
5:03 If our Lord had willed, we would unite Him
5:06 To send down to us angels from heaven
5:09 Message what you are calling us to
5:12 He did not send you while you were human beings like us
5:16 For we deny what your Lord has sent you to us with
5:22 As for Aad, they were arrogant on earth without right
5:28 They said: Who is stronger than us?
5:32 Did they not see that it was God who created them?
5:36 He is stronger than them
5:39 And they denied Our signs
5:45 As for 'Ad, the people were Hud
5:47 So they were arrogant before their Lord
5:49 And they were forced into the land
5:51 So We sent upon them a roaring wind
5:56 In the days we taste them, we will taste them
6:00 They said: Who is stronger than us?
6:04 Did they not see that it was God who created them?
6:07 He gave them great character and intensity of brutality
6:10 He is stronger than them
6:12 They warn of punishment
6:15 And they denied our evidence and arguments against them
6:19 We will make them taste the torment of humiliation in this worldly life
6:27 And the torment of the Hereafter is more humiliating
6:30 And they are not helped
6:34 So We sent a strong wind on Ad
6:38 In bad days
6:42 And Our torment of them in the Hereafter is more shameful
6:45 They are most insulted and humiliated
6:48 And there will be no helper from God on the Day of Resurrection
6:52 As for Thamud, We guided them
6:57 So they preferred blindness to guidance
7:03 Then the thunderbolt of humiliating torment seized them
7:06 With what they were earning
7:10 And We saved those who believed and feared
7:16 As for Thamud
7:18 So We showed them the path of truth and the path of righteousness
7:22 So they chose misguidance over the clarification that I made clear to them
7:26 So I destroyed them from the humiliating and humiliating torment that humiliated them
7:31 Because of the sins they were earning due to their disbelief in God
7:36 And We saved those who united with God from torment
7:39 And they feared God
7:42 So they believed his messengers and removed the gods and rivals
7:47 And on the day when the enemies of God are gathered to Hell, they will be distributed
7:55 Even if they come to her
7:59 Their hearing and sight bore witness to them
8:08 And their skins for what they used to do
8:14 On the day these polytheists will gather the enemies of God into the fire of hell
8:19 They imprison the first of them over the last
8:22 Even when they come to Hell
8:25 Their hearing testified against them as to what they used to listen to in this world
8:30 And their vision of what they were looking at
8:34 And their skins for what they used to do
8:38 And they said to their skins, “Why did you testify against us?”
8:43 They said, “God, who makes all things speak,” gave us speech
8:50 He created you the first time, and to Him you will be returned
8:58 These are those who will be gathered into the Fire because of their skins when they bear witness against them
9:04 When you witnessed against us what we were doing in this world
9:08 Their skins answered them
9:11 God, who speaks everything, gave us speech
9:14 So we spoke
9:16 God created you as the first creation, and you were nothing
9:20 And to Him is your fate after your death
9:25 And you were not hiding lest he bear witness against you
9:31 Your hearing, your sight, or your skin
9:37 But you thought that God does not know much of what you do
9:48 And you did not hide anything in this world
9:50 So they abandoned riding God’s prohibitions
9:53 Beware that your hearing, sight, and skin bear witness against you
9:58 But you thought, when you rode in this world, that you were disobeying God
10:03 God does not know much of what you do
10:08 And that is your assumption that you thought about your Lord that has destroyed you
10:14 So you became among the losers
10:19 This is the belief that you have about your Lord
10:22 He is the one who destroyed you
10:24 Because you dared to violate God’s prohibitions
10:27 Today you have become among the perished
10:31 If they are patient, then Hell is their abode
10:37 And if they ask for reproach, they are not among those who are blamed
10:46 If these people are patient with the fire
10:48 Fire is their home
10:51 And if they ask that they return to the one they love by easing their torment
10:56 They are not the people who will be returned to Paradise
11:00 The torment they are in will be lightened for them
11:06 Conclusion from Tafsir al-Tabrine
