0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:22 "Then there succeeded them a generation who neglected prayer and followed lusts."

0:31 "So they will meet Ghayy."

0:34 There succeeded those whom I have mentioned—the prophets whom Allah has blessed—

0:42 an evil generation who succeeded them on earth, neglecting prayer.

0:47 Their neglect of it means their abandonment of it.

0:50 They preferred the desires of their own souls over the obedience of Allah.

0:54 "They will enter Ghayy."

0:57 This is the name of a valley in Hell.

2:00 They will enter gardens of permanent residence.

2:04 Which the Most Gracious has promised His believing servants in the Unseen.

2:09 Because they have not seen it nor witnessed it.

2:12 "Indeed, His promise—which is Paradise—will be fulfilled."

2:17 His allies and those who obey Him will come to it.

2:21 "They will not hear therein any ill speech, but only peace."

2:27 “They hear therein no idle talk, but only Peace; and therein they have food for morn and evening.” (19:62)

2:35 Those who enter Paradise will not hear therein any false or vain speech.

2:41 Rather, they will hear "peace," which is the greeting of the angels to them.

2:47 They shall have their food and whatever they desire of sustenance and drink.

2:52 At the time of the morning and the evening of the days of this world.

2:58 It means that the interval between their morning and evening meals in Paradise

3:36 “We (angels) come not down save by commandment of thy Lord. Unto Him belongeth all that is before us and all that is behind us and all that is between those two, and thy Lord was never forgetful -” (19:64)

3:40 “We (angels) come not down save by commandment of thy Lord. Unto Him belongeth all that is before us and all that is behind us and all that is between those two, and thy Lord was never forgetful -” (19:64)

3:47 “We (angels) come not down save by commandment of thy Lord. Unto Him belongeth all that is before us and all that is behind us and all that is between those two, and thy Lord was never forgetful -” (19:64)

3:51 Do not consider the descent of Gabriel with the revelation to be slow.

3:55 For the angels do not descend except by the command of your Lord.

3:59 To Him belongs the affairs of the Hereafter, the affairs of this world, and everything in between.

4:04 And your Lord is never forgetful.

4:07 So that the descent of the angels would be delayed because of that.

4:10 "Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them."

4:16 "So worship Him and be steadfast in His worship."

4:20 “Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Therefor, worship thou Him and be thou steadfast in His service. Knowest thou one that can be named along with Him?” (19:65)

4:25 Your Lord, O Muhammad, was not—

4:27 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them—

4:31 forgetful.

4:32 So adhere to His obedience.

4:34 And constrain yourself to carry out His commands and prohibitions.

4:38 Do you know, O Muhammad, any equal to your Lord in His generosity and bounty?

4:43 "And man says,"

4:46 “And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive?” (19:66)

4:51 Does man not remember,

4:54 that We created him before, when he was nothing?

5:03 The disbelieving man says,

5:05 "When I have died, will I be brought forth alive?"

5:09 Will I be resurrected after death and decay?

5:12 Does man, who denies the power of Allah, not remember

5:16 that Allah created him before his death?

5:19 He brought him into being as a complete human from nothing.

5:23 And he was nothing before He created him.

5:27 So let him reflect upon that.

5:29 And let him know that He who created him from nothing

5:32 is not incapable of bringing him to life after his death.

5:37 "So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils."

5:42 "Then We will bring them,"

5:50 "around Hell, kneeling."

5:54 By your Lord, O Muhammad, We will surely gather those who say,

5:59 "When we have died, will we be brought forth alive?"

6:02 Bound together with their companions from among the devils.

6:06 Then We will bring them around Hell, sitting.

6:10 “Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent.” (19:69)

6:19 Then We will take from every group of them

6:27 who joined together in disbelief in Allah and rebellion.

6:31 We will begin by casting them into Hell.

6:34 “And surely We are Best Aware of those most worthy to be burned therein.” (19:70)

6:41 Then We are most knowing of those who are taken from every sect,

6:48 those most deserving of the severe torment and most entitled to the great punishment.

7:07 "And there is none of you except that he will come to it."

7:11 Everyone will come to it, then the believers will depart from it, and Allah will save them.

7:17 It was, O Muhammad, an inevitable decree upon your Lord that they should come to it.

7:32 Then We will save those who feared Allah,

7:37 by performing His obligatory duties and avoiding His prohibitions.

7:40 And We will leave the wrongdoers—those who worshipped other than Allah and disobeyed their Lord—

7:46 in the Fire, kneeling on their knees.

7:49 "And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences,"

7:56 "those who disbelieve say to those who believe,"

8:05 “And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army?” (19:73)

8:12 And when Our verses are recited to the people,

8:17 clear to those who contemplate and reflect upon them as proofs for His servants,

8:23 those who disbelieve in Allah and His Book say to those who believe and affirm it:

8:29 "Which of the two parties is better in position and best in association?"

8:36 And greater in number and following in their assembly?

8:41 “How many a generation have We destroyed before them, who were more imposing in respect of gear and outward seeming!” (19:74)

8:50 How many generations have We destroyed before them, O Muhammad?

8:56 They were better in possessions, appearance, and beauty.

9:03 We destroyed their wealth and changed their forms.

9:07 “Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army.” (19:75)

9:14 “Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army.” (19:75)

9:22 “Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army.” (19:75)

9:31 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists who associate partners with their Lord:

9:36 Whoever is among us or you in error, straying from the path of truth,

9:41 let the Most Gracious extend his error and grant him respite therein,

9:47 until the command of Allah comes to them.

9:50 Either an immediate punishment or they meet their Lord at the Hour.

9:55 Then they will know who is in a worse position

10:00 and weaker in forces—is it they or you?

10:03 “And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them, those who disbelieve say unto those who believe: Which of the two parties (yours or ours) is better in position, and more imposing as an army?” (19:73)

10:10 "And Allah increases those who are guided in guidance."

10:15 “Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort.” (19:76)

10:26 Allah increases those who are guided to the path of righteousness in guidance,

10:30 through the renewal of their faith in the obligatory duties and their acting upon them.

10:35 And the deeds that Allah has commanded His servants and is pleased with from them.

10:40 The enduring righteous deeds—not the fleeting ones—

10:45 are better with your Lord as a reward for those who perform them.

10:48 And better as a final outcome for them than the positions of these polytheists.

10:54 “Hast thou seen him who disbelieveth in Our revelations and saith: Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children?” (19:77)

11:05 “Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent?” (19:78)

11:12 Have you seen, O Muhammad, the one who disbelieved in Our proofs and did not affirm them,

11:19 and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children in the Hereafter"?

11:23 Does this speaker have knowledge of the Unseen?

11:26 So he knows that he will have wealth and children in the Hereafter?

11:30 Or has he believed in Allah and acted upon what He commanded,

11:33 and refrained from what He forbade,

11:36 so that he has a covenant with Allah

11:39 that He will give him what he claims of wealth and children?

11:43 “Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment.” (19:79)

11:47 “Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment.” (19:79)

11:51 “And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he will come unto Us, alone (without his wealth and children).” (19:80)

11:57 No; the matter is not as he claims.

12:00 He has not attained knowledge of the Unseen.

12:02 Nor has he taken a covenant with the Most Gracious.

12:05 We will record what this disbeliever in his Lord says.

12:09 And We will increase his torment in Hell, in addition to his punishment.

12:14 And We will strip this speaker—who says he will be given wealth and children—

12:19 of his wealth and children.

12:21 And his wealth and children will become Ours.

12:24 And he will come to Us on the Day of Resurrection alone.

12:28 “And they have chosen (other) gods beside Allah that they may be a power for them.” (19:81)

12:37 “Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them.” (19:82)

12:46 These polytheists from your people have taken gods to worship, O Muhammad,

12:52 so that they might be a source of honor for them, protecting them from the punishment of Allah.

12:57 No; the matter is not as they imagined, that they will save them from the punishment of Allah.

13:03 Rather, the gods will deny the worship of these polytheists on the Day of Resurrection.

13:11 Their denial of them will be their saying to their Lord,

13:14 “Those concerning whom the Word will have come true will say: Our Lord! These are they whom we led astray. We led them astray even as we ourselves were astray. We declare our innocence before Thee: us they never worshipped.” (28:63)

13:19 And their gods will be against them,

13:22 because their gods will disavow them and become their adversaries.

13:28 “Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion?” (19:83)

13:38 “So make no haste against them (O Muhammad). We do but number unto them a sum (of days).” (19:84)

13:46 Do you not see, O Muhammad, that We have sent the devils upon those who disbelieve in Allah,

13:53 inciting them toward error and misguidance?

13:56 They drive them toward the disobedience of Allah with intense incitement and temptation.

14:01 So do not be in haste against these disbelievers by asking for their punishment and destruction, O Muhammad.

14:08 For We only delay their destruction so that they may increase in sin.

14:12 And We are counting their deeds, all of them, and recording them to recompense them for all of them.

14:18 “On the day when We shall gather the righteous unto the Beneficent, a goodly company.” (19:85)

14:24 “And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd,” (19:86)

14:30 The Day We gather those who feared Allah in this world

14:36 to their Lord as an honored delegation.

14:38 And We drive the disbelievers in Allah—those who committed crimes—to Hell, thirsty.

14:55 These disbelievers in their Lord, O Muhammad, will not possess the power of intercession,

15:00 except for those who had taken a covenant with the Most Gracious in this world through faith in Him and affirmation of His Messenger.

15:32 These disbelievers in Allah said, "The Most Gracious has taken a son."

15:39 You have indeed brought, O people, a monstrous and abominable thing in your speech.

15:44 The heavens almost rupture from their saying,

15:49 and the earth almost splits open, and the mountains almost collapse,

15:53 falling down, because they have attributed a son to the Most Gracious.

16:03 It is not appropriate for the Most Gracious that He should take a son.

16:09 “There is none in the heavens and the earth but cometh unto the Beneficent as a slave.” (19:93)

16:18 It is not fitting for Allah to take a son.

16:22 Because He is not like the creation, whom desires overcome,

16:27 and whom pleasures compel to have intercourse with females.

16:30 There is no one in the heavens—from the angels—

16:33 and on the earth—from humans, mankind, and jinn—

16:37 but that he will come to his Lord on the Day of Resurrection as a servant, lowly and submissive.

16:43 “Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering.” (19:94)

16:48 “And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone.” (19:95)

16:53 The Most Gracious has enumerated His creation, all of them, and counted them exactly.

17:00 The number of them all is not hidden from Him.

17:03 He knows their number, and not one of them escapes Him.

17:08 And all of His creation will come to Him on the Day the Hour is established, alone.

17:14 With no helper from Allah and no one to defend him.

17:18 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds,

17:24 “Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love.” (19:96)

17:28 Indeed, those who have believed in Allah and His messengers,

17:32 and affirmed what came to them from their Lord and acted upon it,

17:37 declaring His lawful things as lawful and His forbidden things as forbidden,

17:40 the Most Gracious will appoint for them love in this world,

17:44 in the hearts of His believing servants.

17:47 “And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk.” (19:97)

17:59 We have only made this Qur'an easy, O Muhammad, in your language, for you to recite,

18:04 so that you may give glad tidings to the righteous who feared the punishment of Allah.

18:10 And to warn with this Qur'an your people from Quraysh of the punishment of Allah.

18:15 For they are a people of stubbornness and false argument, who do not accept the truth.

18:20 How many have We destroyed before them?

18:26 “And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound?” (19:98)

18:43 We have destroyed many, O Muhammad, before your people, a group of people,

18:49 when they walked in opposition to Me and committed sins.

18:53 Do you perceive anyone of them, O Muhammad, or see or witness them?

18:58 Or do you hear a sound from them? Rather, they have perished and been destroyed, and their homes are empty of them.

19:05 Likewise, your people are heading toward what those people headed toward.
