0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:22 By those who range themselves in ranks.

0:29 By those who drive the clouds in columns.

0:35 Allah swears by the angels who stand in ranks before their Lord in the heavens.

0:40 The angels who drive the clouds, steering them along.

0:44 The angels who recite the Book.

0:47 Indeed, your God is One.

0:51 “Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings.” (37:5)

0:58 Indeed, the One you worship, O people, is One.

1:03 So dedicate your worship solely to Him.

1:05 He is the One, the Creator of the seven heavens and all the creation between them.

1:11 He is the Disposer of the sun’s rising points in winter and summer, and its setting points.

1:16 Worship is not fitting except for the One who possesses these attributes.

1:21 “Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets;” (37:6)

1:30 “With security from every froward devil.” (37:7)

1:36 They cannot listen to the Exalted Assembly.

1:40 “They cannot listen to the Highest Chiefs for they are pelted from every side,” (37:8)

1:44 Driven away.

1:46 And for them is a perpetual punishment.

1:50 “Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame.” (37:10)

1:58 We have adorned the lowest heaven, which is nearest to you, O people, with the beauty of the stars.

2:05 And We have adorned it as a protection against every rebellious, wicked devil.

2:10 They cannot listen to the company of angels who are higher than those below them.

2:17 They are pelted from every side of the heavens.

2:21 Driven away, cast out by shooting stars.

2:24 And for these devils who attempt to eavesdrop, there is a perpetual, unceasing punishment from Allah.

2:30 Except for one who manages to snatch a word by stealth.

2:33 He is pursued by a piercing, flaming meteor.

2:36 “Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay.” (37:11)

2:44 We created them from sticky clay.

2:50 So ask, O Muhammad, these polytheists who deny the Resurrection.

2:56 Ask them: is their creation more difficult?

3:00 Or the creation of those We have counted, such as the angels, the devils, the heavens, and the earth?

3:06 We created them from sticky clay.

3:10 Because it is earth mixed with water.

3:13 Nay, you are amazed, while they mock.

3:17 “And heed not when they are reminded,” (37:13)

3:22 “And seek to scoff when they behold a portent.” (37:14)

3:27 Nay, you are amazed, O Muhammad.

3:31 And they mock this Qur'an.

3:34 And when these polytheists are reminded of Allah’s proofs against them.

3:38 So that they might take heed and reflect.

3:40 They do not benefit from the reminder, nor do they take heed.

3:44 And when they see one of Allah’s proofs against them.

3:48 They mock and ridicule it.

3:52 “And they say: Lo! this is mere magic;” (37:15)

3:57 When we have died and become dust and bones.

4:02 Are we indeed to be resurrected?

4:05 Or our forefathers of old?

4:11 “Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low.” (37:18)

4:15 It will be but a single blast.

4:20 And behold, they will be staring in awe.

4:25 These polytheists said to Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.

4:31 This which you have brought us is nothing but clear magic.

4:34 To anyone who contemplates it and sees it as magic.

4:38 Are we to be resurrected alive from our graves?

4:42 Or our forefathers of old who passed away before us?

4:46 And perished and were destroyed?

4:48 Say to them:

4:50 Yes, and you will be resurrected, humbled and disgraced.

4:55 It will be but a single shout.

4:58 That is the blowing of the Trumpet.

5:00 And behold, their eyes will be wide open in terror.

5:04 They will be looking at what they used to deny regarding the Hour, witnessing it with their own eyes.

5:11 “And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment.” (37:20)

5:16 “This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny.” (37:21)

5:24 These polytheists who deny the truth will say when the single blast is sounded.

5:30 Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense and Reckoning.

5:34 This is the Day of Judgment, when Allah separates His creation with His just decree.

5:39 Which you used to deny in the worldly life, rejecting it.
