0:13 Surah Hud.

0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:23 There is no creature on earth but that its provision rests with Allah.

0:29 “And there is not a beast in the earth but the sustenance thereof dependeth on Allah. He knoweth its habitation and its repository. All is in a clear Record.” (11:6)

0:35 He knows its dwelling place and its place of storage.

0:40 “And there is not a beast in the earth but the sustenance thereof dependeth on Allah. He knoweth its habitation and its repository. All is in a clear Record.” (11:6)

0:46 No creature moves upon the earth,

0:48 but that its sustenance, nourishment, and means of survival are provided by Allah.

0:53 He knows where it settles by night or by day.

0:57 He knows the place where He leaves it,

1:00 whether it be its death or its burial.

1:03 He knows the number of every creature and the extent of its provisions,

1:07 the measure of its stay in its dwelling place,

1:10 and the duration of its time in its place of storage.

1:13 All of this is recorded in a clear Book with Allah.

1:17 It clarifies to whoever reads it that all of this is written and established,

1:21 before He created and brought them into existence.

1:25 “And He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was upon the water - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. Yet if thou (O Muhammad) sayest: Lo! ye will be raised again after death! those who disbelieve will surely say: This is naught but mere magic.” (11:7)

1:31 “And He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days - and His Throne was upon the water - that He might try you, which of you is best in conduct. Yet if thou (O Muhammad) sayest: Lo! ye will be raised again after death! those who disbelieve will surely say: This is naught but mere magic.” (11:7)

1:34 To test you as to which of you is best in deed.

1:40 If you were to say, "You will be resurrected after death,"

1:47 those who disbelieve would surely say,

1:55 "This is nothing but clear magic."

2:01 Allah is the One to whom you shall all return, O people.

2:05 He is the One who created the heavens and the earth in six days,

2:10 and His Throne was upon the water before He created the heavens and the earth,

2:15 to test you as to which of you is best in obedience to Him.

2:19 If you were to say to these polytheists,

2:22 "You will be resurrected alive after your death,"

2:26 they would surely say,

2:27 "This which you recite to us is nothing but magic to the listener,"

2:32 clear in its nature as being magic.

2:36 “And if We delay for them the doom until a reckoned time, they will surely say: What withholdeth it? Verily on the day when it cometh unto them, it cannot be averted from them, and that which they derided will surround them.” (11:8)

2:43 They would surely say, "What is holding it back?"

2:46 “And if We delay for them the doom until a reckoned time, they will surely say: What withholdeth it? Verily on the day when it cometh unto them, it cannot be averted from them, and that which they derided will surround them.” (11:8)

2:50 And they were encompassed by that which they used to mock.

3:00 If We delay for these polytheists from your people, O Muhammad,

3:04 the punishment until a limited time,

3:07 these polytheists would surely say,

3:10 "What is it that prevents the hastening of the punishment with which he threatens us?"

3:15 Indeed, on the day the punishment they deny comes to them,

3:19 there will be no one to avert it from them.

3:22 And they will be struck by the punishment of Allah which they used to mock.

3:28 “And if we cause man to taste some mercy from Us and afterward withdraw it from him, lo! he is despairing, thankless.” (11:9)

3:33 Then We take it away from him.

3:40 He is indeed despairing and ungrateful.

3:46 If We give man a taste of ease and abundance in provision and life from Us,

3:51 then We take it away from him, and calamities befall him,

3:55 he remains despondent of the mercy of Allah, despairing of any good.

4:01 And if We give him a taste of favor after adversity has touched him,

4:08 “And if We cause him to taste grace after some misfortune that had befallen him, he saith: The ills have gone from me. Lo! he is exultant, boastful;” (11:10)

4:17 he is indeed boastful and arrogant.

4:22 “Save those who persevere and do good works. Theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward.” (11:11)

4:26 Those are the ones for whom there is forgiveness and a great reward.

4:40 If We grant man abundance in the world,

4:43 and provide him with ease in his life,

4:46 after the hardship he was in,

4:49 he would surely say at that point,

4:51 "The hardship and distress have departed from me."

4:54 Indeed, man is boastful of the blessings he is given, rejoicing in them,

5:00 proud of the abundance he has attained in this world,

5:03 and he forgets its vicissitudes.

5:05 “Save those who persevere and do good works. Theirs will be forgiveness and a great reward.” (11:11)

5:08 For if a hardship or distress of this world comes to them,

5:13 that does not turn them away from the obedience of Allah.

5:16 Rather, they are patient with His command and His decree.

5:20 And if they attain ease and abundance therein,

5:23 they thank Him and fulfill His rights.

5:25 Those are the ones for whom there is forgiveness that He grants them,

5:29 and for them is a generous reward.

5:32 “A likely thing, that thou wouldst forsake aught of that which hath been revealed unto thee, and that thy breast should be straitened for it, because they say: Why hath not a treasure been sent down for him, or an angel come with him? Thou art but a warner, and Allah is in charge of all things.” (11:12)

5:37 And your breast is constricted by it.

5:42 And your breast is constricted by it,

5:46 that they might say,

5:51 “A likely thing, that thou wouldst forsake aught of that which hath been revealed unto thee, and that thy breast should be straitened for it, because they say: Why hath not a treasure been sent down for him, or an angel come with him? Thou art but a warner, and Allah is in charge of all things.” (11:12)

6:11 Perhaps you, O Muhammad, are leaving out

6:13 some of what your Lord reveals to you to convey,

6:17 and your breast is constricted by what is revealed to you,

6:20 so you do not convey it to them for fear that they might say,

6:24 “A likely thing, that thou wouldst forsake aught of that which hath been revealed unto thee, and that thy breast should be straitened for it, because they say: Why hath not a treasure been sent down for him, or an angel come with him? Thou art but a warner, and Allah is in charge of all things.” (11:12)

6:27 “A likely thing, that thou wouldst forsake aught of that which hath been revealed unto thee, and that thy breast should be straitened for it, because they say: Why hath not a treasure been sent down for him, or an angel come with him? 6:29 believing that he is a messenger from Allah.

6:32 You are only a warner; you warn them of My punishment.

6:36 And the signs they ask of you

6:39 are with Me and under My authority;

6:41 I send them down when I will.

6:43 Allah is the Sustainer of all things,

6:45 and in His hand is their management.

6:47 So proceed with what I have commanded you.

6:50 Or do they say, "He invented it"?

6:54 “Or they say: He hath invented it. Say: Then bring ten surahs, the like thereof, invented, and call on everyone ye can beside Allah, if ye are truthful!” (11:13)

7:00 And call upon whomever you can,

7:05 other than Allah, if you are truthful.

7:14 This Qur'an is sufficient as an argument for the truth of what you brought them.

7:19 For they said,

7:20 "You invented it and fabricated it."

7:23 So say to them,

7:24 "Then bring ten surahs like this Qur'an, fabricated."

7:29 And call upon whomever you can call upon besides Allah,

7:32 for that fabrication and invention,

7:35 if you are truthful that Muhammad invented this Qur'an.

7:40 If you are unable,

7:42 then it has become clear to you that you are liars.

7:45 And it was not for you to choose the verses against your Lord.

7:51 If they do not respond to you,

7:53 then know that it was sent down with the knowledge of Allah.

8:04 “And if they answer not your prayer, then know that it is revealed only in the knowledge of Allah; and that there is no Allah save Him. Will ye then be (of) those who surrender?” (11:14)

8:08 So will you be Muslims?

8:39 Will you be submissive to Allah in obedience,

8:43 and sincere to Him in worship?

9:09 “Those are they for whom is naught in the Hereafter save the Fire. (All) that they contrive here is vain and (all) that they are wont to do is fruitless.” (11:16)

9:12 And void is that which they used to do.

9:40 Allah has rendered it void.

10:11 So do not be in doubt about it.

10:15 It is the truth from your Lord,

10:18 but most people do not believe.

10:42 Like one who is hesitant in error.

10:46 These whom I have mentioned believe and acknowledge it.

10:50 If these polytheists disbelieve in it,

10:53 and whoever disbelieves in this Qur'an,

10:56 denying that it is from Allah,

10:58 from among the factions gathered in their various creeds,

11:02 then the Fire is where they will end up in the Hereafter.

11:05 So do not be in doubt that the destination of those who disbelieve in the Qur'an,

11:09 from among the factions, is the Fire.

11:11 And that this Qur'an which We have sent down to you is from Allah.

11:41 And who is more unjust

11:45 than one who fabricates a lie against Allah,

11:48 and lies about Him?

11:50 Those will be presented before their Lord on the Day of Resurrection,

11:54 and He will ask them about what they used to do in the world.

11:58 And the witnesses will say, those who witnessed them,

12:01 from among the angels and the prophets,

12:03 "These are the ones who lied about their Lord in the world."

12:07 Unquestionably, the curse of Allah is upon the transgressors who disbelieved in their Lord,

12:29 “Who doeth greater wrong than he who inventeth a lie concerning Allah? Such will be brought before their Lord, and the witnesses will say: These are they who lied concerning their Lord. Now the curse of Allah is upon wrong-doers,” (11:18)

12:32 who avert people from belief in Him,

12:35 and seek to make the path of Allah crooked, deviating from the straight path.

12:39 And they, while averting people from the path of Allah,

12:43 are deniers of the Resurrection.

13:06 These were not those who could escape their Lord,

13:10 by fleeing from Him on earth,

13:13 when He wills to punish them and take vengeance upon them.

13:17 And these polytheists had no one, other than Allah,

13:21 as allies to help them against Allah,

13:24 or to intervene between them and Him when He punishes them.

13:28 Their punishment will be increased by Allah.

13:31 And they will not be able to intervene between them and Him when He punishes them.

13:35 Their punishment will be increased;

13:38 He will make for them two portions instead of one.

13:41 They are unable to hear the truth with the hearing of one who benefits,

13:45 nor do they see it with the vision of one who is guided,

13:48 because of their preoccupation with the disbelief they were persisting in.

13:52 Those are the ones who have lost their own souls,

13:58 and what they used to invent has vanished from them.

14:02 “Assuredly in the Hereafter they will be the greatest losers.” (11:22)

14:09 These are the ones who cheated themselves out of their share of Allah's mercy,

14:15 and their lies against Allah have come to nothing.

14:18 Truly, these people are the greatest losers.

14:22 Indeed, those who believe and do righteous deeds,

14:28 “Lo! those who believe and do good works and humble themselves before their Lord: such are rightful owners of the Garden; they will abide therein.” (11:23)

14:38 they will abide therein forever.

14:43 Indeed, those who believed in Allah and His Messenger,

14:46 and worked in the world in obedience to Allah,

14:49 and humbled themselves before their Lord,

14:51 these are the inhabitants of Paradise,

14:55 dwelling therein without end.
