0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:12 Surah An-Nahl
0:18 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23 And it will be said to those who fear, “What has your Lord sent down?”
0:29 They said good
0:32 For those who do good in this world is good
0:37 And the home of the Hereafter is better
0:41 And blessed be the abode of the righteous
0:45 The other team was told
0:48 What has your Lord sent down?
0:50 They said: Send down goodness
0:53 For those who believe in God in this world and His Messenger is an honor from God
0:58 The home of the Hereafter is better for them than the home of this world
1:03 And how blessed is the abode of those who fear God in this world
1:07 So fear His punishment by performing His obligations and avoid His sins
1:13 They will enter the Gardens of Eden, beneath which rivers will flow
1:25 They have whatever they want in it
1:31 Thus God rewards the righteous
1:36 Orchards of shrines inhabited by rivers flowing beneath their trees
1:43 Those who do good in this world will have whatever their souls desire in the Gardens of Eden
1:51 God also rewards those who did good in this world with what was described to you, people
1:58 Thus God rewards those who fear Him by performing His obligations and who abstain from His disobedience
2:06 Those whom the angels take to death are good, they say
2:14 They say: Peace be upon you. Enter Paradise for what you did
2:25 Thus God rewards the righteous whose souls are taken by the angels of God
2:31 They are good because God blesses them with clean faith
2:37 She says to them, “Peace be upon you, go to heaven.”
2:43 Good news from God delivered to them by angels
2:48 Do they wait for the angels to come to them or for the command of your Lord to come?
2:58 So did those before them, and God did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves
3:13 Are these polytheists waiting for the angels to come to them and take their souls?
3:20 Or the command of your Lord will come to gather them to the place of resurrection
3:25 As these people do, they wait for God’s angels to take their souls or carry out God’s command
3:32 Their ancestors were disbelievers in God
3:36 And God did not wrong them by causing His wrath
3:39 But they were wronging themselves
3:42 By their disobedience to their Lord and their disbelief in Him until they deserved His punishment, so He hastened them
3:50 Then the evils of what they did befall them, and what they used to mock overtakes them
4:01 Those of the past nations who did what these polytheists of Quraysh did were subject to the punishments for their sins
4:10 And the punishment of God befell them, which they used to mock
4:16 Those who associate polytheists say, “If God had willed, neither we nor our fathers would have worshiped anything other than Him.”
4:29 Neither we nor our parents have been deprived of anything besides Him
4:38 So did those before them. Is there anything other than the duty of the messengers except to deliver the clear message?
4:51 Those who associate God with God said, “We do not worship these idols except because God has approved of our worshiping them.”
5:00 We do not forbid what we have forbidden from the lakes and deserts
5:04 However, God wanted us and our fathers to prohibit it, and He was pleased with it
5:11 So did those before them from the polytheist nations, whose Sunnah these people followed
5:18 They said the same thing as they said, and they continued their path in denying the Messengers of God
5:24 And follow the actions of their misguided fathers
5:28 Do our messengers have any duty other than to convey to you the message we have sent to you?
5:34 A communication that explains its meaning to the person who communicates it and is understood by the person to whom it is sent
5:42 And We have sent to every nation a Messenger to worship God and shun the tyrant
5:54 Among them are those whom God has guided, and among them are those who have been led astray
6:02 So travel through the land and see what was the end of the deniers
6:11 We have sent, O people, to every nation that preceded you a messenger
6:17 That they worship God alone, without partners, and devote obedience to Him alone
6:23 Stay away from Satan and beware of him tempting you
6:27 Among those to whom We sent Our Messenger are those who guide God
6:31 So grant him success in believing in Him and acting in obedience to Him
6:35 Others were misled
6:38 So they disbelieved in God and denied His Messenger
6:42 If you people do not believe our Messenger in what he tells you about these nations
6:49 So they walked in the land they used to live
6:53 So look at the traces of God in them
6:56 How did their denial of the Messenger of God follow them?
7:01 If you strive to guide them, then God does not guide those who go astray
7:10 And they have no helpers
7:17 O Muhammad, if you are keen to guide these polytheists to faith in God
7:23 God does not guide those whom He leads astray
7:26 Don't stress yourself about it
7:28 And they have no helper to help them from God if He wants to punish them
7:55 These polytheists from Quraish swore by God as hard as they could
8:00 God does not resurrect someone who dies
8:03 And they lied about the oaths they swore
8:07 Rather, God will resurrect him after his death
8:10 He promised to send them
8:12 He promised his servants
8:14 God does not break his promise
8:17 But most of the Quraysh do not know God’s promise to His servants
8:22 He will raise them alive on the Day of Resurrection after they die
8:31 Rather, God will resurrect those who die
8:34 A true promise
8:36 To show those who claim that God does not resurrect those who die
8:42 And for others in which they differ
8:45 From God reviving His creation after their annihilation
8:49 Let those who deny the truth of this know
8:52 That they would resurrect God after his death
8:55 And they will resurrect God after his death
8:58 And they will resurrect God after his death
9:00 And let them know that this is true
9:02 They were lying in what they said
9:05 God does not resurrect someone who dies
9:08 Our saying to something, if we want it, is that we say to it, “Be,” and it is
9:20 If we want to resurrect someone who dies
9:23 Don't be tired of us
9:26 We only say to him, “Be,” and he is
9:30 And those who emigrated for the sake of God after they had been wronged
9:35 We will surely give them good news in this world
9:39 And the reward of the Hereafter is greater
9:43 If only they knew
9:47 Those who are patient and put their trust in their Lord
9:55 And those who left their people and their homes
9:58 Enmity toward God for their disbelief
10:02 To others besides them
10:04 After what happened to them in their souls, which is hateful to God
10:09 Let us settle them in this world in a good abode that pleases them
10:14 And God’s reward to them for their migration therein is greater
10:19 Because his reward is Paradise
10:22 These are the ones we have described
10:25 They are the ones who are patient for the sake of God over what befalls them in this world
10:29 In God they trust in their affairs
10:34 We did not send before you except men to whom We revealed
10:41 So ask the people of remembrance if you do not know
10:50 We did not send before you, O Muhammad, to any nation
10:55 To pray for our unification and fulfillment of our commands and prohibitions
11:00 Except for men from the children of Adam to whom We reveal
11:04 And if you do not know that those whom We were sending to those before you were from the nations
11:10 Men from the sons of Adam, like Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
11:15 And you said they are angels
11:18 So ask the people of remembrance who have read the books before them
11:23 Such as the Torah and the Gospel
11:25 And other books of God that He sent down to His servants
11:31 With clear evidence and truth
11:34 And We sent down to you the Remembrance so that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them
11:47 Perhaps they will think
11:52 We did not send before you except men to whom We revealed
11:57 We sent them with evidence, arguments and books
12:01 And We sent down to you, O Muhammad, this Qur’an
12:04 A reminder to people and a preaching to them
12:07 So that they may know what was revealed to them of that
12:11 And let them remember therein and consider what We have revealed to you
12:17 Do those who plot evil deeds feel safe that God will cause the earth to swallow them up?
12:29 Or the torment comes to them from where they do not feel
12:35 Or he takes them to task, but they are not miraculous
12:42 Or he takes them out of fear, for your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful
12:52 Are those who oppressed the believers among the companions of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, safe?
12:58 They wanted to seduce them from their religion
13:01 May God cause the earth to swallow them because of their disbelief and polytheism
13:06 Or God's punishment comes to them from a place where they do not feel it
13:10 He does not know where it comes from
13:13 Or destroy them in their behavior in the country
13:16 And their hesitation in their travels
13:19 They will not be able to do that to God if He wants to take them as well
13:24 Or destroy them with fear
13:26 This is due to a decrease in their limbs and sides
13:30 One thing after another until they are all destroyed
13:35 Indeed, if your Lord does not punish those who plot evil deeds with a hastening punishment for them
13:42 And death took them, and some of them diminished in each other's influence
13:46 He is kind to his creation and merciful to them
13:50 And because of His compassion and mercy towards them, the earth did not cause them to collapse
13:54 Their torment was not hastened
13:57 But it frightens them and diminishes them with death
14:02 Have they not seen what God has created, whose shadows emanate from the right and the left?
14:16 Prostration to God
14:19 They prostrated to God while they were bowing down
14:24 Have they not seen those who plotted evil deeds?
14:28 To what God created of a standing body
14:31 Tree, mountain, etc
14:34 His shadow returns from place to place
14:38 It is the beginning of the day anyway
14:41 Then it shrinks
14:42 Then he returns to another state at the end of the day
14:47 It is the shadows of these things that prostrate
14:51 Its prostration is its tilt and rotation from side to side
14:56 And hand to hand
14:58 They prostrate while they are humble
15:02 To God prostrates whatever is in the heavens and whatever living creature is on the earth
15:12 Of animals and angels, and they are not arrogant
15:24 To God submits and submits to His command whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, every animal that moves upon it
15:32 And the angels in the heavens
15:35 They are not too arrogant to submit to Him in obedience
15:40 They fear their Lord above them and do what they are commanded
15:50 He fears those angels in the heavens
15:54 And there is no living creature on earth
15:56 They fear their Lord above them, lest He punish them if they disobey His command
16:01 They do what God commands them to do and fulfill His rights
