2:16 And devote yourself to Him completely for your needs and worship, to the exclusion of all other things.

2:23 The Lord of the East and the West, and all the worlds between them.

2:28 It is not fitting that any god should be worshipped other than Allah.

2:31 So take Him as a Disposer of affairs in what He commands you, and entrust your matters to Him.

2:37 And be patient, O Muhammad, over what the polytheists of your people say to you and over their harm.

2:43 And avoid them for the sake of Allah with a gracious avoidance.

2:47 And leave Me with the deniers, those who possess the comforts of life, and allow them a little respite.

2:54 “Lo! with Us are heavy fetters and a raging fire,” (73:12)

3:00 And food that chokes, and a painful punishment.

3:08 So leave Me, O Muhammad, and those who deny My signs, those who live in luxury in this world.

3:15 And delay them with the punishment that I have prepared for them for a little while, until the decree reaches its appointed time.

3:22 Indeed, with Us for these deniers of Our signs are shackles and a blazing fire.

3:28 And food that chokes its consumer.

3:31 It will neither go down his throat nor come out of it.

3:36 And a painful, agonizing punishment.

3:39 “On the day when the earth and the hills rock, and the hills become a heap of running sand.” (73:14)

3:48 Indeed, We have for these polytheists of Quraysh who harm you, O Muhammad.

3:54 The punishments described for the Day when the earth and the mountains will shake.

4:00 And the mountains will become like shifting, scattered sand.

4:05 “Lo! We have sent unto you a messenger as witness against you, even as We sent unto Pharaoh a messenger.” (73:15)

4:20 “But Pharaoh rebelled against the messenger, whereupon We seized him with no gentle grip.” (73:16)

4:28 Indeed, We have sent to you, O people, a Messenger as a witness over you.

4:33 Regarding the response of those among you who accepted my call, and the refusal of those who rejected it.

4:40 On the day you meet Me in the Resurrection.

4:43 Just as We sent before you to Pharaoh of Egypt a Messenger, calling him to the truth.

4:50 But Pharaoh disobeyed the Messenger whom We sent to him.

4:54 So We seized him with a severe seizure and destroyed him and all those with him.

5:00 “Then how, if ye disbelieve, will ye protect yourselves upon the day which will turn children grey,” (73:17)

5:09 “The very heaven being then rent asunder. His promise is to be fulfilled.” (73:18)

5:19 So how will you fear, O people, a Day that will make children grey-headed, if you disbelieve in Allah and do not believe in Him?

5:28 The heaven will be burdened by that Day, splitting and cracking.

5:34 What Allah has promised to do will surely come to pass, for He does not break His promise.

5:41 Indeed, this is a reminder, so whoever wills, let him take a path to his Lord.

5:53 Indeed, these verses in which the matter of the Resurrection and its terrors are mentioned.

6:00 And what He will do therein to the people of disbelief, are a lesson and an admonition for whoever takes heed and is warned.

6:07 So whoever wills, let him take a path to his Lord through belief in Him and obedience to Him.

6:13 “Lo! thy Lord knoweth how thou keepest vigil sometimes nearly two-thirds of the night, or (sometimes) half or a third thereof, as do a party of those with thee. Allah measureth the night and the day. He knoweth that ye count it not, and turneth unto you in mercy. Recite, then, of the Qur'an that which is easy for you. He knoweth that there are sick folk among you, while others travel in the land in search of Allah's bounty, and others (still) are fighting for the cause of Allah. So recite of it that which is easy (for you), and establish worship and pay the poor-due, and (so) lend unto Allah a goodly loan. Whatsoever good ye send before you for your souls, ye will find it with Allah, better and greater in the recompense. And seek forgiveness of Allah. Lo! Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (73:20)

6:38 He knew that you would not be able to count it, so He turned to you in forgiveness; so recite what is easy of the Qur'an.

7:36 And seek the forgiveness of Allah; indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

7:45 Indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, knows that you stand in prayer for nearly two-thirds of the night, or half of it, or a third of it, along with a group of the companions of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.

8:00 Those who were believers in Allah when the night prayer was made obligatory upon them, and Allah measures the night and the day by hours and times.

8:10 Your Lord knew that you would not be able to sustain it, so He turned to you in forgiveness when you were unable and weak, and He returned to you with leniency.

8:21 So recite from the night what is easy for you of the Qur'an in your prayer.

8:26 Your Lord knew, O believers, that there would be among you those who are ill, whom sickness has weakened from standing in prayer at night.

8:35 And others traveling through the land, seeking the bounty of Allah through trade.

8:41 They have traveled to seek their livelihood, which has exhausted and weakened them from the night prayer.

8:47 And others among you fighting in the way of Allah, battling the enemy to support the religion of Allah.

8:54 So Allah had mercy on you and lightened your burden, and removed the obligation of the night prayer.

9:01 So recite now, since it has been lightened for you, what is easy of the Qur'an in your prayer.

9:08 And establish the obligatory prayers, which are the five prayers during the day and night.

9:13 And give the obligatory zakat from your wealth to those entitled to it.

9:17 And spend in the way of Allah from your wealth.

9:21 And whatever you send forth, O believers, for yourselves in this worldly life.

9:26 Of charity or expenditure that you spend in the way of Allah.

9:31 Or other than that of expenditure in the avenues of good.

9:35 Or acts of obedience to Allah, such as prayer, fasting, or Hajj.

9:39 Or other such good deeds in seeking what is with Allah.

9:44 You will find it with Allah on the Day of Resurrection in your place of return.

9:48 It is better for you than what you sent forth in the world, and greater in reward.

9:54 And ask Allah for the forgiveness of your sins through His pardon for you.

9:59 Indeed, Allah is Possessor of forgiveness for the sins of those among His servants who repent.

10:04 And He is Merciful, not punishing them for their sins after they have repented from them.
