0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:22 “Lo! Allah graspeth the heavens and the earth that they deviate not, and if they were to deviate there is not one that could grasp them after Him. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving.” (35:41)

0:30 “Lo! Allah graspeth the heavens and the earth that they deviate not, and if they were to deviate there is not one that could grasp them after Him. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving.” (35:41)

0:37 Indeed, He is Forbearing, All-Forgiving.

0:43 Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth lest they deviate from their places.

0:49 And if they were to deviate, no one could hold them besides Him.

0:53 Indeed, Allah is Forbearing toward those who associate partners with Him, by not hastening their punishment.

0:59 And He is Forgiving of the sins of those among them who repent.

1:03 And they swore by Allah their strongest oaths that if a warner came to them...

1:12 “And they swore by Allah, their most binding oath, that if a warner came unto them they would be more tractable than any of the nations; yet, when a warner came unto them it aroused in them naught save repugnance,” (35:42)

1:30 These polytheists swore the most solemn oaths, exaggerating in them,

1:35 That if a warner came to them from Allah to warn them of Allah’s might,

1:39 They would surely be more guided upon the path of truth,

1:42 And more accepting of it than any of the nations that preceded them.

1:47 Yet when Muhammad, peace be upon him, came to them to warn them of Allah’s punishment for their disbelief,

1:53 The arrival of the warner did not increase them in faith in Allah, but only in flight from it.

2:00 When there came to them one from Allah to guide them, they did not increase in anything but the ways of the ancients.

2:09 You will never find any change in the Sunnah of Allah.

2:15 And you will never find any alteration in the Sunnah of Allah.

2:31 [This was] out of arrogance in the land and an evil plot.

2:35 This is because they turned the weak away from following him.

2:39 But the evil plot does not encompass anyone except its own people.

2:43 Do these polytheists expect anything but the same fate I brought upon those before them, as a consequence of their polytheism?

2:52 You will never find, O Muhammad, any change in the Sunnah of Allah.

2:56 And you will never find any alteration in the Sunnah of Allah regarding His creation.

3:00 For there is no one who can reverse His decree.

3:04 “Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them, and they were mightier than these in power? Allah is not such that aught in the heavens or in the earth escapeth Him. Lo! He is the Wise, the Mighty.” (35:44)

3:17 “Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them, and they were mightier than these in power? Allah is not such that aught in the heavens or in the earth escapeth Him. Lo! He is the Wise, the Mighty.” (35:44)

3:25 “Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them, and they were mightier than these in power? Allah is not such that aught in the heavens or in the earth escapeth Him. Lo! He is the Wise, the Mighty.” (35:44)

3:32 Have these polytheists who associate partners with Allah not traveled through the land where We destroyed its people for their disbelief?

3:39 For they are merchants who travel the route to the Levant.

3:43 Let them observe how was the end of those nations who came before them.

3:48 Did We not destroy them and lay their dwellings to waste?

3:51 And they were stronger than them in power and might.

3:55 It is not difficult for Him to do to them the same as He did to those others by hastening their retribution.

4:02 And these polytheists who worship idols will not escape Us if We will their destruction.

4:09 Because there is nothing in the heavens or on the earth that can frustrate Allah in what He wills.

4:15 Indeed, He is All-Knowing of His creation and of what is to come.

4:20 Capable of taking vengeance upon whom He wills among them,

4:23 And granting success to whom He wills among them to have faith.

4:28 “If Allah took mankind to task by that which they deserve, He would not leave a living creature on the surface of the earth; but He reprieveth them unto an appointed term, and when their term cometh - then verily (they will know that) Allah is ever Seer of His slaves.” (35:45)

4:40 But He delays them until an appointed time.

4:50 “If Allah took mankind to task by that which they deserve, He would not leave a living creature on the surface of the earth; but He reprieveth them unto an appointed term, and when their term cometh - then verily (they will know that) Allah is ever Seer of His slaves.” (35:45)

5:01 And if Allah were to punish the people for the sins and acts of disobedience they have committed,

5:06 He would not leave a single living creature upon its surface.

5:10 But He delays their punishment for what they have earned until a time known to Him.

5:16 So when their appointed time of punishment comes, indeed, Allah is All-Seeing of His servants.

5:22 [He knows] who among them deserves to be punished and who is worthy of honor.
