0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:23 And he said, "Embark therein; in the name of Allah is its course and its anchorage."

0:29 “And he said: Embark therein! In the name of Allah be its course and its mooring. Lo! my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful.” (11:41)

0:36 And Nuh (Noah) said to them:

0:38 "Embark upon the ship, invoking the name of Allah when it sails and when it anchors, for Allah is the One who brings it to a halt."

0:44 "Indeed, my Lord is the Forgiver of the sins of those who repent to Him."

0:48 "He is merciful toward them, sparing them from punishment after their repentance."

0:53 “And it sailed with them amid waves like mountains, and Noah cried unto his son - and he was standing aloof - O my son! Come ride with us, and be not with the disbelievers.” (11:42)

1:02 He was in a secluded place, saying, "O my son, come aboard with us."

1:31 And the waves surged between them, and he was among those who were drowned.

1:40 The ship sailed with Nuh and those with him amidst waves like mountains.

1:45 Nuh called out to his son.

1:48 He was separated from him and did not board the ship with him.

1:57 The son of Nuh said, "I will head to a mountain to take shelter from the water."

2:03 "It will prevent the water from drowning me."

2:06 Nuh said, "There is no protector today from the decree of Allah."

2:10 Which has descended upon the creation in the form of drowning and destruction.

2:14 Except for those whom Allah has mercy upon and saves from it.

2:17 And the waves of water surged between Nuh and his son, and he drowned.

2:22 And it was said, "O earth, swallow your water."

2:26 "And O sky, cease your rain," and the water subsided.

2:32 The water receded, and the matter was concluded.

2:37 And the ship came to rest upon Mount Judi.

2:40 “And it was said: O earth! Swallow thy water and, O sky! be cleared of clouds! And the water was made to subside. And the commandment was fulfilled. And it (the ship) came to rest upon (the mount) Al-Judi and it was said: A far removal for wrongdoing folk!” (11:44)

2:46 And Allah said to the earth after His decree regarding the destruction of the people of Nuh was fulfilled:

2:51 "O earth, absorb your water."

2:54 "And O sky, withhold your rain."

2:57 The earth took in the water and dried it up.

3:00 And the command of Allah was fulfilled.

3:02 And it came to rest—meaning the ship—upon Mount Judi.

3:07 It is a mountain, as mentioned, in the region of Mosul or al-Jazirah.

3:12 And Allah said, "Away with the wrongdoing people who disbelieved in Allah among the people of Nuh."

3:20 “And Noah cried unto his Lord and said: My Lord! Lo! my son is of my household! Surely Thy promise is the truth and Thou are the Most Just of Judges.” (11:45)

3:27 “And Noah cried unto his Lord and said: My Lord! Lo! my son is of my household! Surely Thy promise is the truth and Thou are the Most Just of Judges.” (11:45)

3:38 “And Noah cried unto his Lord and said: My Lord! Lo! my son is of my household! Surely Thy promise is the truth and Thou are the Most Just of Judges.” (11:45)

3:42 "My Lord, You promised me that You would save me from the drowning, along with my family."

3:47 "Yet my son has perished, and my son is of my family."

3:51 "And Your promise is the Truth, which cannot be broken."

3:54 "And You are the most just of all judges."

3:57 "So judge for me by fulfilling what You promised me and returning my son to me."

4:04 “He said: O Noah! Lo! he is not of thy household; lo! he is of evil conduct, so ask not of Me that whereof thou hast no knowledge. I admonish thee lest thou be among the ignorant.” (11:46)

4:29 "O Nuh, he who drowned is not of your family whom I promised to save."

4:38 “He said: O Noah! Lo! he is not of thy household; lo! he is of evil conduct, so ask not of Me that whereof thou hast no knowledge. I admonish thee lest thou be among the ignorant.” (11:46)

4:41 "Indeed, your asking Me about your son is an unrighteous deed."

4:45 "So do not ask Me thereafter about that of which I have withheld the knowledge from you regarding the reasons for My actions."

4:50 "And you have no knowledge of it."

4:53 "I admonish you, lest you be among the ignorant in your questioning Me about that."

5:00 “He said: My Lord! Lo! in Thee do I seek refuge (from the sin) that I should ask of Thee that whereof I have no knowledge. Unless Thou forgive me and have mercy on me I shall be among the lost.” (11:47)

5:08 "And if You do not forgive me and have mercy upon me, I will be among the losers."

5:17 He said, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from burdening myself by asking You about that of which I have no knowledge."

5:23 "So forgive my lapse."

5:26 "And if You do not forgive it for me and have mercy upon me, thereby saving me from Your wrath,"

5:31 "I will be among those who have squandered their own souls and perished."

5:37 “It was said (unto him): O Noah! Go thou down (from the mountain) with peace from Us and blessings upon thee and some nations (that will spring) from those with thee. (There will be other) nations unto whom We shall give enjoyment a long while and then a painful doom from Us will overtake them.” (11:48)

6:17 "And there are other generations whom We will provide for in the worldly life, that they may enjoy themselves until they reach their appointed times."

6:25 "Then We will let them taste a painful, agonizing punishment."

6:30 “This is of the tidings of the Unseen which We inspire in thee (Muhammad). Thou thyself knewest it not, nor did thy folk (know it) before this. Then have patience. Lo! the sequel is for those who ward off (evil).” (11:49)

6:46 “This is of the tidings of the Unseen which We inspire in thee (Muhammad). Thou thyself knewest it not, nor did thy folk (know it) before this. Then have patience. Lo! the sequel is for those who ward off (evil).” (11:49)

6:55 This story which I have informed you of regarding Nuh is from the news of the unseen that We reveal to you.

7:04 You did not know it, nor did your people, before this revelation that We reveal to you.

7:11 So be patient in carrying out the command of Allah and conveying His message.

7:15 Indeed, the best outcome is for those who fear Allah, perform His obligatory duties, and avoid His prohibitions.

7:24 “And unto (the tribe of) A'ad (We sent) their brother, Hud. He said: O my people! Serve Allah! Ye have no other Allah save Him. Lo! ye do but invent.” (11:50)

7:37 “O my people! I ask of you no reward for it. Lo! my reward is the concern only of Him Who made me. Have ye then no sense?” (11:51)

7:51 And We sent to the people of 'Ad their brother Hud, and he said to them, "O my people, worship Allah alone; you have no deity other than Him."

8:00 "You have no deity worthy of worship other than Him; you are, in your associating other gods and idols with Him, nothing but fabricators and liars."

8:12 "O my people, I do not ask of you any reward or recompense for what I call you to regarding the sincerity of worship to Allah."

8:20 "My reward and recompense for my sincere advice to you are with Allah; do you not understand that if I were seeking through my call to you to reach Allah,"

8:29 "I would have sought from you some of the worldly goods for that, and I would have demanded wages and reward from you?"

8:38 “And, O my people! Ask forgiveness of your Lord, then turn unto Him repentant; He will cause the sky to rain abundance on you and will add unto you strength to your strength. Turn not away, guilty!” (11:52)

9:09 "O my people, believe in Him so that He may forgive your sins, then repent to Allah for your past sins."

9:17 "For if you believe in Allah and repent, He will send the rain of the sky upon you, pouring down for you in your time of need."

9:27 "And your lands will be revived from drought and famine, and He will add strength to your strength; so do not turn away from what I call you to regarding the oneness of Allah, while you are disbelievers in Him."

9:40 They said, "O Hud, you have not brought us any clear evidence, and we are not going to abandon our gods because of your word, nor are we believers in you."

10:00 The people of Hud said, "O Hud, you have not brought us any explanation or proof for what you say, so we will not submit to you, and we will not abandon our gods because of your word."

10:13 "And we are not believers in you regarding what you claim of prophethood and messengership to us."

10:21 “We say naught save that one of our gods hath possessed thee in an evil way. He said: I call Allah to witness, and do ye (too) bear witness, that I am innocent of (all) that ye ascribe as partners (to Allah)” (11:54)

10:41 “Beside Him. So (try to) circumvent me, all of you, give me no respite.” (11:55)

10:53 "We only say that some of our gods have afflicted you with madness." Hud said, "I call Allah to witness against myself, and I call you to witness as well, O people,"

11:05 "That I am innocent of what you associate in the worship of Allah; so plot against me, all of you, together with your gods, and then do not grant me any respite."

11:17 "See if you can inflict any harm upon me."

11:22 “Lo! I have put my trust in Allah, my Lord and your Lord. Not an animal but He doth grasp it by the forelock! Lo! my Lord is on a straight path.” (11:56)

11:44 "I have placed my trust in Allah, who is my Lord and your Lord, that you and others among the creation cannot inflict any harm upon me."

11:53 "For there is no creature that moves upon the earth but that Allah holds it by its forelock; indeed, my Lord is on the path of truth."

12:01 "He rewards the righteous among His creation for their righteousness, and the evildoer for their evil."

12:08 “And if ye turn away, still I have conveyed unto you that wherewith I was sent unto you, and my Lord will set in place of you a folk other than you. Ye cannot injure Him at all. Lo! my Lord is Guardian over all things.” (11:57)

12:31 "But if they turn away, refusing what I call them to regarding the oneness of Allah,"

12:36 "I have indeed conveyed to you, O people, that with which I was sent to you, and my Lord will destroy you and replace you with a people other than you."

12:45 "And you cannot harm Him at all if He wills your destruction; indeed, my Lord is, over all His creation, a Guardian and All-Knowing."

12:56 “And when Our commandment came to pass We saved Hud and those who believed with him by a mercy from Us; We saved them from a harsh doom.” (11:58)

13:18 “And such were A'ad. They denied the revelations of their Lord and flouted His messengers and followed the command of every froward potentate.” (11:59)

13:31 And when Our punishment came to the people of Hud, We saved Hud and those who believed in Allah with him, by His grace and favor upon them.

13:43 And We also saved them from a severe punishment on the Day of Resurrection; and these people upon whom We brought down Our vengeance and punishment were 'Ad.

13:53 They rejected the signs and proofs of Allah and followed the command of every arrogant tyrant who turned away from the truth.

14:03 “And a curse was made to follow them in the world and on the Day of Resurrection. Lo! A'ad disbelieved in their Lord. A far removal for A'ad, the folk of Hud!” (11:60)

14:21 And 'Ad, the people of Hud, were followed in this world by a curse from Allah, and on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, 'Ad disbelieved in their Lord; indeed, away with 'Ad, the people of Hud, from all goodness.
