0:27 “And Lot believed him, and said: Lo! I am a fugitive unto my Lord. Lo! He, only He, is the Mighty, the Wise.” (29:26)

0:37 Ibrahim, the Khalil (Friend) of Allah, believed in Lut.

0:41 And Ibrahim said:

0:43 "I am migrating from the land of my people to the Levant."

0:46 "Indeed, my Lord is the Almighty, who does not humiliate those whom He supports."

0:50 "The All-Wise in the governance of His creation."

0:54 And We granted him Ishaq and Ya'qub.

0:58 And We placed prophethood and the Scripture within his descendants.

1:09 And We gave him his reward in this world.

1:13 And indeed, in the Hereafter, he will be among the righteous.

1:20 We provided him with Ishaq as a son.

1:23 And Ya'qub, after him, as a grandson.

1:27 And We placed prophethood and the Scripture within his descendants.

1:31 We gave him the reward for his trials for Our sake in this world.

1:35 And in the Hereafter, he also has the reward of the righteous, which shall not be diminished.

1:41 “And Lot! (Remember) when he said unto his folk: Lo! ye commit lewdness such as no creature did before you.” (29:28)

4:08 “He said: Lo! Lot is there. They said: We are best aware of who is there. We are to deliver him and his household, all save his wife, who is of those who stay behind.” (29:32)

4:37 "We are more aware of who is within it among the wrongdoers who disbelieve in Allah."

4:42 "And indeed, Lut is not among them."

4:45 "We shall surely save him and his family from the destruction that is descending upon the people of his town."

4:50 "Except for his wife; she was among those who remained behind."

4:53 Those whom the ages and days have left behind.

4:56 Whose lives and lifespans were prolonged.

5:00 She will be destroyed along with her people, among the family of Lut.

5:06 “And when Our messengers came unto Lot, he was troubled upon their account, for he could not protect them; but they said: Fear not, nor grieve! Lo! we are to deliver thee and thy household, (all) save thy wife, who is of those who stay behind.” (29:33)

5:56 This is because they came to him as guests, and he was troubled by that.

6:01 He felt constrained by the burden of hospitality.

6:03 Fearing for them because of the evil of his people that he knew.

6:08 The messengers said to Lut: "Do not fear that your people will reach us."

6:14 "And do not grieve over what we have told you—that we are going to destroy them."

6:18 "Indeed, we will save you and your family with you."

6:23 "Except for your wife; she will be among those who are destroyed along with her people."

6:28 She was among those who remained, whose lives were prolonged.

6:33 "Indeed, O Lut, we are bringing down upon the people of this town a punishment from the sky."

6:38 "Because of the disobedience to Allah they committed and the indecency they practiced."

6:45 “And verily of that We have left a clear sign for people who have sense.” (29:35)

6:54 And We have left behind, from what We did to them, a clear sign.

7:00 For a people who understand the proofs from Allah.

7:03 And reflect upon His admonitions.

7:06 And that clear sign is the erasure of their traces and the ruin of their landmarks.

7:13 “And unto Midian We sent Shu'eyb, their brother. He said: O my people! Serve Allah, and look forward to the Last Day, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth.” (29:36)

7:20 So he said: "O my people, worship Allah and expect the Day of Judgment, and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption."

7:30 And We sent to Madyan their brother Shu'ayb.

7:34 He said to them: "O my people, worship Allah alone and hope for the reward of the Last Day through your worship of Him."

7:42 "And do not spread corruption on the earth through disobedience to Allah."

7:45 "But repent to Allah for it and turn back to Him."

7:50 “But they denied him, and the dreadful earthquake took them, and morning found them prostrate in their dwelling place.” (29:37)

7:59 But the people of Madyan denied Shu'ayb regarding the message he brought them from Allah.

8:05 So the earthquake of punishment seized them.

8:08 And they became, within their homes, fallen prone, dead, one upon another.

8:14 “And (the tribes of) A'ad and Thamud! (Their fate) is manifest unto you from their (ruined and deserted) dwellings. Satan made their deeds seem fair unto them and so debarred them from the Way, though they were keen observers.” (29:38)

8:49 They were convinced in their misguidance, admiring it.

8:54 Thinking they were upon guidance and truth, while they were in misguidance.

9:01 And Qarun, Pharaoh, and Haman.

9:05 “And Korah, Pharaoh and Haman! Moses came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but they were boastful in the land. And they were not winners (in the race).” (29:39)

9:20 And remember, O Muhammad, Qarun, Pharaoh, and Haman.

9:24 Indeed, Musa came to all of them with clear proofs and signs.

9:30 But they acted arrogantly in the land, refusing to believe in the clear signs.

9:34 And refusing to follow Musa, and they could not escape Us by their own power.

9:41 Rather, We were capable of seizing them.

9:45 So We seized each of them for his sin.

9:49 “So We took each one in his sin; of them was he on whom We sent a hurricane, and of them was he who was overtaken by the (Awful) Cry, and of them was he whom We caused the earth to swallow, and of them was he whom We drowned. It was not for Allah to wrong them, but they wronged themselves.” (29:40)

10:41 And among them are those whom We drowned.

10:44 They are the people of Nuh, Pharaoh, and the people of...

10:47 Allah would not destroy these nations for the sins of others.

10:52 Thus wronging them by destroying them without justification.

10:57 Rather, He destroyed them for their own sins and their disbelief in their Lord.

11:01 But they were wronging themselves by how they used the blessings of their Lord.

11:06 And their indulgence in His favors while worshipping others besides Him.

11:12 “The likeness of those who choose other patrons than Allah is as the likeness of the spider when she taketh unto herself a house, and lo! the frailest of all houses is the spider's house, if they but knew.” (29:41)

11:36 The example of those who take deities and idols as protectors besides Allah.

11:41 Hoping for their support and benefit.

11:44 Is like the spider in its weakness and lack of resourcefulness for itself.

11:49 It takes a house for itself to shelter it.

11:53 Yet it avails it nothing when it is in need of it.

11:57 Likewise are these polytheists.

12:00 Their protectors, whom they took besides Allah, did not avail them anything when the command of Allah descended upon them and His wrath befell them.

12:05 Those whom they took as protectors besides Allah are of no use.

12:10 And indeed, the weakest of houses is the house of the spider.

12:13 If only those who took protectors besides Allah.

12:18 Knew that the protectors they took besides Allah.

12:22 Are as useless to them.

12:25 As the spider's house is to the spider.

12:28 But they are ignorant of that.

12:30 So they think they will benefit them.

12:35 “Lo! Allah knoweth what thing they invoke instead of Him. He is the Mighty, the Wise.” (29:42)

12:42 And He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.

12:45 And these are the parables We present to the people.

12:51 “As for these similitudes, We coin them for mankind, but none will grasp their meaning save the wise.” (29:43)

12:57 Indeed, Allah knows what those nations We destroyed were calling upon besides Him.

13:05 And Allah is the Almighty in His retribution against those who disbelieved in Him.

13:08 The All-Wise in the governance of His creation.

13:12 These parables, likenesses, and analogies.

13:15 We present, liken, and use as arguments for the people.

13:19 And none understands the truth and correctness of these parables We present to the people.

13:29 Except those who have knowledge of Allah and His signs.

13:33 Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth.

13:38 Indeed, in that is a sign for the believers.

13:45 Allah created, O Muhammad, the heavens and the earth alone, unique in their creation.

13:52 Indeed, in that creation is a proof for those who believe in the arguments when they witness them.

13:57 And the signs when they see them.

14:15 Recite what has been revealed to you of this Qur'an.

14:19 And establish the prayer that Allah has obligated upon you, observing its limits.

14:25 “Recite that which hath been inspired in thee of the Scripture, and establish worship. Lo! worship preserveth from lewdness and iniquity, but verily remembrance of Allah is more important. And Allah knoweth what ye do.” (29:45)

14:29 And the remembrance of Allah of you is greater than your remembrance of Him.

14:33 And Allah knows what you do, O people, in your prayers.

14:38 Regarding the establishment of its limits and the abandonment of that.

14:41 And other matters of yours.

14:43 And He will reward you for that.
