0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:12 Surah An-Nisa
0:18 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23 So what do you have about two groups of hypocrites, and God will destroy them because of what they have earned
0:31 Do you want to guide those whom God has led astray?
0:37 Whoever God leads astray, you will not find a way for him
0:45 What is the matter with you, O believers, regarding hypocrites as two different groups?
0:51 God will return them to the rulings of the polytheists
0:54 Do you, believers, want to be guided to Islam?
0:58 So they agreed to acknowledge it for whom God took it
1:02 And whoever takes him away from his religion
1:04 O Muhammad, you will not find a way for him to guide him to realizing what God has taken from him
1:11 They wish you would disbelieve as they disbelieve, so you would be the same
1:19 Do not take any of them as allies until they migrate for the sake of God
1:28 If they turn away, then seize them and kill them wherever you find them
1:35 And do not take from them a guardian or a helper
1:42 These hypocrites wished that you would disbelieve and deny the oneness of your Lord
1:48 Just as they denied them, so you will be infidels like them
1:53 Do not take friends from them until they leave the house of polytheism
1:58 They leave its people seeking the religion of God
2:01 If these hypocrites turn away from acknowledging God and His Messenger
2:06 They turned away from immigration
2:08 So take them, O believers, and kill them wherever you find them, from their country and other than their country
2:15 And do not take from them a friend who will take care of your affairs
2:20 There is no helper to help you against your enemies
2:24 Except for those who reach out to a people with whom there is a covenant, or who come to you
2:35 Or they came to you, determined to fight you
2:42 They are determined to fight you or fight their own people
2:50 If God had willed, He would have given them power over you and we would have fought you
2:58 If they withdraw from you and do not fight you and offer you peace
3:05 They offered you peace, but God has not made a way for you against them
3:13 Except for those of them who have reached a people with whom there is an agreement, a covenant, and a covenant between you
3:20 So they entered among them, so that their women and children would not be taken captive, and their wealth would not be taken as spoils
3:26 And also, except for those of them who came to you
3:30 Their hearts were exhausted from fighting you or their people
3:35 If God had willed, He would have given authority to those who reach out to a people between whom and you there is a covenant
3:42 And those whose hearts are restrained from fighting you
3:46 So they fought you with your polytheist enemies
3:50 But God kept them from you
3:53 If these people withdraw from you and do not fight you
3:56 They surrendered to you and made peace with you
4:00 God did not make for you a means of killing or spoiling your lives, their money, their offspring, and their women
4:09 Do not expose them to this except in a good way
4:14 You will find others who want to make you and their people safe
4:27 Whenever they are returned to sedition, they are thrown into it
4:33 If they do not withdraw from you and extend greetings to you and restrain their hands
4:40 So take them and kill them wherever you find them
4:47 And over those We have given you clear authority
4:56 These are another group of hypocrites
5:00 They used to show Islam to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions
5:06 To be safe for themselves, their money, their women, and their descendants
5:11 Whenever their people called them to polytheism, they apostatized
5:15 If he does not withdraw from you, O believers
5:18 They will surrender to you and stop fighting you
5:23 So take them wherever you find them on the ground and kill them
5:28 Their blood is then lawful for you
5:31 We have given you a proof for their deserving of this
5:36 By their standing on their disbelief and their abandonment of the abode of polytheism
6:07 If he is from a people who are enemies to you and he is a believer, then free a believing slave
6:18 If there is a treaty between you and a people, then a ransom must be paid to his family and the freeing of a believing slave
6:36 Whoever does not find it, then fast for two consecutive months as a repentance from God
6:45 And God is All-Knowing, All-Wise
6:50 God has not permitted a believer to kill another believer
6:54 However, the believer may kill the believer by mistake
6:58 Whoever kills a believer by mistake must free a believing slave from his property
7:04 His relatives give it to his family
7:07 Unless the family of the dead person gives a gift to the person whose gift is required for their dead person, then they pardon him
7:14 If this dead man was a mistake from among people who are polytheists who are enemies to you in religion, and he is a believer
7:21 The killer thinks he is a disbeliever
7:25 He must free a safe slave
7:28 And if the dead person who was killed by the believer was by mistake from a people between you, O believers, and with whom there is a covenant of covenant
7:36 His killer must pay blood money to his family, which is borne by his relatives
7:43 Freeing a faithful slave is atonement for killing him
7:47 Whoever does not find a safe neck
7:50 He must fast for two consecutive months
7:53 God's help to you is to make things easy for you
7:58 God still knows what is best for His servants
8:01 Wise in what he decrees and wants regarding them
8:06 Whoever intentionally kills a believing woman?
8:12 His reward is hell
8:16 His reward is hell
8:20 Abiding in it
8:23 Abiding in it
8:26 And God was angry with him
8:28 And curse him
8:30 He cursed him and prepared a great punishment for him
8:36 Whoever kills a believer intentionally, kills him
8:40 His reward is the torment of Hell that remains therein
8:44 And God was angry with him and removed him from His mercy
8:48 A great punishment was prepared for him
8:50 No one knows the amount of his amount except Him, may God Almighty mention Him
8:55 O you who have believed, when you fight in the path of God, then investigate
9:03 So investigate and do not say to the one who greeted you, “You are not a believer.”
9:11 And do not say to those who greet you: “You are not a believer”; you seek the reward of this world’s life
9:22 If you seek to gain the life of this world, God is greatly in love
9:30 This is how you were before, so God is upon you, so make clear that God is Acquainted with what you do
9:48 O you who have believed God and His Messenger
9:51 If you walk in the path of God in the struggle against your enemies
9:56 So be careful in killing those whose affairs are difficult for you
9:59 They did not know the truth about his Islam or his disbelief
10:03 And do not say to those who surrendered to you and did not fight you
10:08 Showing you that he is one of the people of your religion and calling
10:12 I am not a believer, so kill him for the enjoyment of this worldly life
10:18 For God has many spoils of His provision, and His abundant blessings are better for you
10:25 And so were you before God made His religion honorable
10:30 You underestimate your religion just as this man hid his religion from his people out of fear of them
10:37 It has been said that before, you were disbelievers like them
10:43 May God be gracious to you by strengthening His religion and increasing its number of followers
10:49 And you must repent
10:51 Do not rush to kill someone whose conversion to Islam is confusing to you
10:56 God intended to kill whomever you would kill
10:59 And stop killing those whom you stop killing
11:02 And other matters for you
11:05 He has experience and knowledge of it
11:07 So that He will reward all of you on the Day of Resurrection
11:11 The benefactor with his benevolence
11:13 And the abuser with his abuse
11:21 And those who strive in the cause of God with their money and their lives
11:31 God has favored the Mujahideen with their money and their lives over those who remain in His rank
11:41 And God promised good things
11:45 So God gave the Mujahideen a great reward over those who remained silent
12:16 May God bless the Mujahideen with their money and their lives
12:20 There is only one virtue for those who remain in need of harm
12:24 God promised all of the Mujahideen their money and their lives
12:29 And those who sit among the people of harm will go to Paradise
12:33 And God has favored the Mujahideen with their money and their lives over those who remain behind and are not deserving of harm, with a great reward
12:46 Virtues and houses of dignity
12:50 He forgave them for their sins and had compassion on them
12:55 God remains forgiving of the sins of His faithful servants
12:59 Merciful to them, He bestows His blessings upon them
13:03 Indeed, those whom the angels take to death are unjust
13:11 Those who are taken by angels are unjust to themselves
13:22 They said while you were
13:26 They said we were weak in the land
13:31 They said, “Wasn’t God’s earth wide enough for them to migrate there?”
13:39 For those, their abode is Hell, and it is an evil destination
13:49 Except the weak men, women, and children, who are unable to devise anything and are not guided to a way
14:07 For those, perhaps God will pardon them, and God is Pardoning and Forgiving
14:18 Those whose souls are taken are angels
14:23 They earned themselves God's wrath and wrath
14:27 The angels said to them: What religion do you follow?
14:32 He said: Those whom the angels take away are those who wrong themselves
14:37 We were weak on earth. The polytheists treated us weak and prevented us from believing in God
14:44 And following His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
14:48 They said, “Wasn’t God’s land wide enough for you to leave your land to the land whose people prevent you?”
14:57 So they united God in it
14:59 Their fate in the afterlife is Hell
15:04 And Hell has become a dwelling place and shelter for its people
15:08 Except for those whom the polytheists deemed weak, men, women, and children
15:13 They are unable to migrate due to hardship and lack of resourcefulness
15:18 And poor eyesight and knowledge of the path from their land to the land of Islam
15:23 These are the weak ones
15:26 Perhaps God will pardon them for the excuse they are in
15:30 And God continues to forgive, by His grace, the sins of His servants
15:34 He covered their sins by forgiving them
15:39 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
