1:25 So Musa and the learned man set out until, when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to feed them, and they sought hospitality from them, but they refused to host them.

1:47 There, they found a wall that was on the verge of collapsing, so he straightened it until it stood upright again.

1:55 Musa said to his companion, "If you had wished, you could have taken a payment for repairing their wall for these people, so that they might provide for you."

8:41 Then Dhu al-Qarnayn traveled and followed paths and stages on the earth.

10:00 “They said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Lo! Gog and Magog are spoiling the land. So may we pay thee tribute on condition that thou set a barrier between us and them?” (18:94)

10:19 They said, "O Dhu al-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog—two nations behind the barrier—are causing corruption in the land. May we then assign for you a tribute so that you might build between us and Gog and Magog a barrier that will separate us from them and prevent them from coming out to us?"

10:41 “He said: That wherein my Lord hath established me is better (than your tribute). Do but help me with strength (of men), I will set between you and them a bank.” (18:95)

10:57 Dhu al-Qarnayn said, "That which my Lord has empowered me with in performing what you asked of me regarding the barrier between you and these people, and which He has made easy for me and strengthened me to do, is better than your tribute and the payment you offer me for building it."

11:15 "But assist me with craftsmen who are skilled in construction and work; I will build between you and Gog and Magog a wall more impenetrable and stronger than the barrier."

11:45 Dhu al-Qarnayn said, "Bring me blocks of iron." Until, when he had leveled the space between the two mountains with the iron blocks he had placed, he said to the workers, "Blow the fire upon these iron blocks." They blew until, when he had made the space between the heads and sides of the mountains like fire, he said, "Bring me molten copper to pour over it."

12:17 So Gog and Magog were unable to scale the embankment that Dhu al-Qarnayn had made as a barrier between them and the people below, nor were they able to pierce it from below.

12:49 When Dhu al-Qarnayn saw that Gog and Magog could not climb over what he had built of the embankment and were unable to pierce it, he said, "This which I have built and leveled is a mercy from my Lord, by which He has shown mercy to the people below the embankment, so He aided me with His mercy for them until I built and leveled it."

13:17 "Then, when the promise of my Lord comes—which He has set as a time for the appearance of this nation and their emergence—He will level it to the ground, and the promise of my Lord, which He promised His creation regarding the leveling of this embankment and the emergence of those people, is true; He does not fail in His promise."
