0:23 “O Prophet! Why bannest thou that which Allah hath made lawful for thee, seeking to please thy wives? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.” (66:1)

0:30 Seeking the pleasure of your wives.

0:34 And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.

0:39 "O Prophet, why do you forbid [yourself] what Allah has made lawful for you?"

0:44 Seeking by that the pleasure of your wives.

0:47 Why do you forbid for yourself the lawful things that Allah has permitted for you?

0:52 You are seeking, by that prohibition, the pleasure of your wives.

1:34 He has forgiven you for forbidding for yourself what Allah made lawful for you.

1:39 He is Merciful to His servants, in that He does not punish them for sins they have repented from.

1:47 “Allah hath made lawful for you (Muslims) absolution from your oaths (of such a kind), and Allah is your Protector. He is the Knower, the Wise.” (66:2)

1:52 "And Allah is your protector."

1:55 And He is the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.

2:00 Allah, the Almighty, has made clear to you the way to dissolve your oaths.

2:05 He has defined it for you, O people.

2:07 Allah is your protector, supporting you with His victory, O believers.

2:12 He is All-Knowing of your best interests.

2:15 All-Wise in His management of your affairs.

2:18 And in directing you toward that which He knows best.

2:22 “When the Prophet confided a fact unto one of his wives and when she afterward divulged it and Allah apprised him thereof, he made known (to her) part thereof and passed over part. And when he told it her she said: Who hath told thee? He said: The Knower, the Aware hath told me.” (66:3)

3:09 and his saying, "Do not mention this to anyone."

3:13 But when she disclosed the matter that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, had confided to her, to her companion 'A'ishah,

3:21 and Allah made His Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, aware that she had informed her companion of it,

3:30 the Prophet, peace be upon him, informed Hafsah of part of that matter.

3:36 And he refrained from informing her of some of it.

3:39 When the Prophet of Allah, peace be upon him, informed Hafsah of what Allah had revealed to him,

3:46 regarding her disclosing the secret of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, to 'A'ishah,

3:51 Hafsah said to the Messenger of Allah, "Who informed you of this news and told you about it?"

3:57 Muhammad, the Prophet of Allah, said to Hafsah,

4:01 "The All-Knowing of the secrets of His servants and the innermost thoughts of their hearts informed me of it."

4:06 The All-Acquainted with their affairs, from whom nothing is hidden.

4:11 “If ye twain turn unto Allah repentant, (ye have cause to do so) for your hearts desired (the ban); and if ye aid one another against him (Muhammad) then lo! Allah, even He, is his Protecting Friend, and Gabriel and the righteous among the believers; and furthermore the angels are his helpers.” (66:4)

4:42 The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

4:45 regarding the prohibition of what was lawful for him that he had forbidden for himself,

4:50 then Allah is his protector and helper against them both, and against everyone who seeks to harm him.

4:57 And Jibril is also his protector and helper.

5:01 And the righteous among the believers are also his supporters and helpers.

5:05 And the angels, along with Jibril and the righteous believers,

5:08 are helpers to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, against those who harm him and wish him ill.

5:15 “It may happen that his Lord, if he divorce you, will give him in your stead wives better than you, submissive (to Allah), believing, pious, penitent, devout, inclined to fasting, widows and maids.” (66:5)

5:33 “It may happen that his Lord, if he divorce you, will give him in your stead wives better than you, submissive (to Allah), believing, pious, penitent, devout, inclined to fasting, widows and maids.” (66:5)

5:55 "Perhaps his Lord, if he divorced you," O wives of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

6:04 "would substitute for him wives better than you,"

6:08 submissive to Allah in obedience, believing in Allah and His Messenger, obedient to Allah,

6:16 returning to what Allah loves of their obedience, away from what He dislikes of them,

6:22 devout worshippers, humble before Allah in obedience, fasting.

6:27 Previously married women who have been intimate,

6:31 and virgins who have not been touched or intimate.

6:36 "O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire,"

6:45 a Fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are angels, harsh and severe.

6:55 “O ye who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire whereof the fuel is men and stones, over which are set angels strong, severe, who resist not Allah in that which He commandeth them, but do that which they are commanded.” (66:6)

7:12 O you who have believed in Allah and His Messenger,

7:16 teach one another that by which you may protect yourselves from the Fire you know of,

7:21 and ward it off from them by acting upon the obedience of Allah,

7:25 and acting in obedience to Allah.

7:27 And teach your families the deeds of obedience to Allah by which they may protect themselves from the Fire.

7:34 The firewood that is kindled for this Fire

7:37 is the children of Adam and sulfurous stones.

7:40 Over this Fire are angels from among the angels of Allah,

7:45 harsh toward the people of the Fire, severe against them.

7:48 They do not disobey Allah in what He commands them.

7:53 And they carry out what their Lord commands them.

7:57 “(Then it will be said): O ye who disbelieve! Make no excuses for yourselves this day. Ye are only being paid for what ye used to do.” (66:7)

8:04 "You are only being recompensed for what you used to do."

8:11 O you who denied the oneness of Allah,

8:15 "make no excuses today."

8:17 That is on the Day of Resurrection.

8:19 You are only being rewarded and given the recompense for the deeds you used to do in the world.

8:26 So do not seek excuses for them.

8:30 “O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your evil deeds and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands; they will say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Lo! Thou art Able to do all things.” (66:8)

8:38 “O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your evil deeds and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands; they will say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Lo! Thou art Able to do all things.” (66:8)

8:43 “O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your evil deeds and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands; they will say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Lo! Thou art Able to do all things.” (66:8)

8:49 “O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! 8:56 "And He will admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow."

9:03 “O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your evil deeds and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands; they will say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Lo! Thou art Able to do all things.” (66:8)

9:06 “O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! 9:10 And those who believed with him.

9:13 “O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! It may be that your Lord will remit from you your evil deeds and bring you into Gardens underneath which rivers flow, on the day when Allah will not abase the Prophet and those who believe with him. Their light will run before them and on their right hands; they will say: Our Lord! Perfect our light for us, and forgive us! Lo! Thou art Able to do all things.” (66:8)

9:17 “O ye who believe! Turn unto Allah in sincere repentance! 9:29 "Indeed, You are over all things competent."

9:38 O you who have believed in Allah and His Messenger,

9:41 "repent to Allah,"

9:43 meaning,

9:44 return from your sins to the obedience of Allah,

9:48 and to that which pleases Him, with a repentance from which you will never return to sin.

9:53 "Perhaps your Lord," O believers, "will remove from you your misdeeds" that you have committed,

10:00 "and admit you into gardens beneath whose trees rivers flow,"

10:05 on the day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, nor those who believed with him.

10:12 Their light will proceed before them, and their record will be in their right hands.

10:16 They will ask their Lord to preserve their light for them,

10:20 so that it is not extinguished until they cross the Bridge (al-Sirat).

10:23 That is when the hypocrite men and women say to those who believed,

10:29 “On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say unto those who believe: Look on us that we may borrow from your light! it will be said: Go back and seek for light! Then there will separate them a wall wherein is a gate, the inner side whereof containeth mercy, while the outer side thereof is toward the doom.” (57:13)

10:32 "And cover our sins for us,"

10:34 "and do not expose us by punishing us for them."

10:38 For He is capable of perfecting our light for us and forgiving our sins.

10:45 "O Prophet, fight against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them."

10:54 "And their refuge is Hell, and wretched is the destination."

11:02 O Prophet, fight the disbelievers with the sword,

11:06 and the hypocrites with warnings and the tongue.

11:09 And be stern with them for the sake of Allah.

11:12 Their dwelling is Hell.

11:13 And their destination, to which they will return, is the Fire of Hell.

11:17 And wretched is the place to which one is destined: Hell.

11:21 Allah has set forth an example for those who disbelieve:

11:26 the wife of Nuh and the wife of Lut.

11:30 They were under two of Our righteous servants,

11:36 but they betrayed them.

11:40 “Allah citeth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were under two of Our righteous slaves yet betrayed them so that they (the husbands) availed them naught against Allah and it was said (unto them): Enter the Fire along with those who enter.” (66:10)

11:49 And it was said, "Enter the Fire with those who enter."

11:54 Allah has set forth an example for those who disbelieve among people and all of creation:

12:00 the wife of Nuh and the wife of Lut.

12:03 They were under two of Our servants,

12:07 but they betrayed them.

12:09 It is mentioned that the betrayal of Nuh's wife to her husband

12:13 was that she was a disbeliever,

12:15 and she used to tell people that he was insane.

12:19 And the betrayal of Lut's wife

12:22 was that Lut used to hide his guests,

12:25 and she would reveal them.

12:27 So Nuh and Lut could not avail them at all against Allah.

12:31 When He punished them for their betrayal of their husbands,

12:35 it did not benefit them that their husbands were prophets.

12:39 And Allah said to them on the Day of Resurrection,

12:42 "Enter, you two women, the Fire of Hell with those who enter it."

12:48 And Allah has set forth an example for those who believe: the wife of Fir'awn,

12:55 “And Allah citeth an example for those who believe: the wife of Pharaoh when she said: My Lord! Build for me a home with thee in the Garden, and deliver me from Pharaoh and his work, and deliver me from evil-doing folk;” (66:11)

13:03 "and save me from Fir'awn and his deeds,"

13:09 "and save me from the wrongdoing people."

13:15 Allah has set forth an example for those who believed in Allah and affirmed His oneness:

13:19 the wife of Fir'awn, who believed in Allah and affirmed His oneness,

13:24 and believed in His Messenger, Musa.

13:27 She was under an enemy of Allah, a disbeliever.

13:30 But the disbelief of her husband did not harm her,

13:33 because she was a believer in Allah.

13:36 And it was among the decrees of Allah regarding His creation

13:39 that no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another,

13:42 and that each soul shall have only what it has earned.

13:45 “And Allah citeth an example for those who believe: the wife of Pharaoh when she said: My Lord! Build for me a home with thee in the Garden, and deliver me from Pharaoh and his work, and deliver me from evil-doing folk;” (66:11)

13:50 So Allah answered her, and built for her a house in Paradise.

13:54 "And save me from the punishment of Fir'awn,"

13:57 and from doing his deeds,

14:00 which was his disbelief in Allah.

14:03 "And deliver me and save me from the deeds of the people who disbelieve in You, and from their punishment."

14:10 And Maryam, the daughter of 'Imran, who guarded her chastity,

14:15 “And Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient.” (66:12)

14:22 “And Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient.” (66:12)

14:27 and she was of the devoutly obedient.

14:33 “And Allah citeth an example for those who believe: the wife of Pharaoh when she said: My Lord! Build for me a home with thee in the Garden, and deliver me from Pharaoh and his work, and deliver me from evil-doing folk;” (66:11)

14:36 “And Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein something of Our Spirit. And she put faith in the words of her Lord and His scriptures, and was of the obedient.” (66:12)

14:42 He says: she who protected her garment's opening from Jibril, peace be upon him.

14:47 So We breathed into her garment's opening from Jibril, who is the Spirit.

14:52 And she believed in 'Isa, and 'Isa,

14:55 and she believed in His books, meaning the Torah and the Gospel.

14:59 And she was of the obedient people.
