0:14 Surah Al-Zukhruf

0:18 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

0:23 He said, "Have I brought to you more guidance than what you found your fathers upon?"

0:33 They said, “Indeed, we disbelieve in what you were sent with.”

0:40 So We took revenge on them, and see what was the outcome of the deniers

0:50 Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists

0:54 Did I not come to you, O people, from your Lord?

0:57 I will guide you to the path of truth from what you found your fathers following in terms of religion and religion

1:04 He said that to them

1:06 They answered

1:08 We are ungrateful and denying what you were sent with

1:13 So we took revenge on these people who denied their Messenger by imposing punishment on them

1:19 So look, O Muhammad, what was the outcome of their matter when they denied the signs of God

1:27 And when Abraham said to his father and his people, “Indeed, I am disavowed of what you worship.”

1:37 Except for Him who created me, for He will guide me

1:44 And He made it a lasting word in his wake, so that they might return

1:54 And when Abraham said to his father and his people, “Indeed, I am disavowed of what you worship instead of God.”

2:01 Except for the One who created me, for He will raise me up to the true religion

2:07 He helps me to follow the path of maturity

2:11 And he made his saying, “I am disavowed of what you worship except Him who created me.”

2:18 It is a saying: There is no god but God

2:21 A word that remains in his descendants

2:24 There were still those among his descendants who said that after him

2:28 To return to obedience to their Lord

2:31 And they repent of their disbelief and sins

2:51 And when the truth came to them, they said, “This is magic.”

2:59 They said: This is magic, but we disbelieve in it

3:06 Rather, O Muhammad, grant life to these polytheists and their fathers before them

3:13 I did not rush them with punishment

3:15 Until this Qur’an came to them

3:18 And a Messenger makes clear to them, with the arguments he uses against them, that he is a true Messenger

3:25 He is Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace

3:29 And when the Qur’an and a messenger from God came to them

3:33 They said: This is what this Messenger brought to us

3:37 A magic that enchants us with it

3:39 And we are ungrateful to Him

3:41 We deny that this is from God

3:45 And they said, “If only this Qur’an had not been revealed to a great man from the two villages.”

3:56 These polytheists said

3:58 If it is true

4:00 Is it not revealed to a great man from one of the two villages?

4:06 Mecca or Taif

4:08 They mean great

4:10 Al-Walid bin Al-Mughirah Al-Qurashi in Mecca

4:13 Or Habib bin Omar bin Omair cultural center in Taif

4:45 Are these those who say?

4:48 Had this Qur’an not been revealed to a great man from the two villages

4:53 O Muhammad, they divide the mercy of your Lord among His creation

4:58 Mother of God who divides it

5:00 He gives it to whomever he loves and deprives him of it to whomever he wishes

5:04 Rather, we divide our mercy among whomever we have created

5:09 We also divided among them their livelihood in this worldly life

5:14 So We made some of them higher than others

5:17 Let this man make fun of himself in his service to him

5:22 So God Almighty made them a means of livelihood for each other

5:27 And the mercy of your Lord, O Muhammad, by admitting them to Paradise

5:31 It is better for them than the money they collect in this world

5:46 To make us for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful

5:50 Their houses have a silver roof

6:00 And they appear on the paths

6:04 Their houses have doors and beds on which they recline

6:11 And all of that is not the enjoyment of this worldly life

6:22 And the Hereafter with your Lord is for the righteous

6:29 And if the people had not been one nation of disbelief

6:34 We have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Merciful the upper parts of their houses in silver

6:39 And a mirror and a stairway for them to climb

6:42 And We made their houses doors of silver

6:46 And silver furniture on which they recline

6:50 And We will make gold for them with that

6:53 And all these things you mentioned

6:56 Nothing but enjoyment for the people of the world to enjoy

7:01 And beautify the abode of the Hereafter with your Lord for the righteous

7:05 Those who fear God fear His punishment

7:13 Make God greater

7:16 He will not disbelieve in the Most Merciful by opposing him to Satan

7:22 The opposite of Satan is his companion

7:29 And they will turn them away from the path

7:34 And they think that they are guided

7:39 Whoever turns away from the remembrance of God does not fear His power

7:43 The devils prevent these people from the path of truth

7:47 So they make misguidance appear attractive to them

7:50 The polytheists think that they are right and correct

7:55 Until, when he came to us, he said, “I wish there were more polytheists between me and you.”

8:10 So miserable is the companion

8:12 And it will not benefit you today, since you have been wronged and that you share in the torment

8:22 Even if this one comes to us who has forgotten the remembrance of the Most Gracious

8:28 And his companion who was saved from the devils

8:31 One of these two companions said to his other friend

8:36 I wished to be between you and me after the polytheist and the West

8:41 It was said that winter is bright and summer is bright

8:45 So miserable is the companion

8:48 It will not benefit you, O people who live without the remembrance of God in this world

8:52 And the punishment of God will not be lightened for you today by your participation in it

8:57 Because each one of you has his share of it

9:02 Do you make the deaf hear or guide the blind and whoever is in clear shadows?

9:14 Do you listen to someone whom God has deprived of listening to the arguments used as evidence in this book and has deafened him?

9:21 Or be guided to the path of guidance

9:25 If we do not go with you, we will take revenge on them

9:33 Or We will show you what We promised them, for indeed We have power over them

9:43 If we take you, O Muhammad, from among the most visible of these polytheists

9:51 If we take you, O Muhammad, from among the most visible of these polytheists

9:56 We are avengers among them

9:58 We also did that to other nations whose Messenger was rejected

10:03 Or will we show you what we promised them, O Muhammad, to defeat them?

10:08 We have the power to make you prevail over them

10:12 So adhere to what has been revealed to you

10:17 For you are on a straight path

10:23 Indeed, it is a reminder for you and your people, and you will be asked

10:31 So adhere, O Muhammad, to what this Qur’an commands you to do

10:37 You are on a straight path and you are rightly guided

10:41 This Qur’an is an honor for you and for your people from the Quraish

10:46 And your Lord will ask you and them about what you did in it

10:51 And ask those of Our messengers whom We sent before you

10:56 Make us, apart from the Most Merciful, gods to worship

11:08 And ask the books of those whom We sent before you among the messengers

11:13 We commanded them to worship gods instead of God in what they brought

11:18 Or I am under the illusion that it is ours

11:22 We sent Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his chiefs

11:29 He said, “I am the Messenger of the Lord of the Worlds.”

11:35 We sent Moses with our arguments to Pharaoh and the nobles of his people

11:42 Moses said to them, “I am the messenger of the Lord of the Worlds to you.”

11:48 When He brought them Our signs, they laughed at them

11:59 When Moses came to Pharaoh and filled him with our arguments and evidence

12:04 Then Pharaoh and his people laughed at the signs and lessons

12:09 Your people also ridicule the signs and lessons you brought them

12:15 This is an entertainment from God Almighty to His Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace

12:21 We do not show them any sign except that it is greater than its sister

12:29 And We seized them with torment so that they might return

12:35 We did not see Pharaoh and his entourage as an argument

12:40 Except what we see of that is greater in argument and more emphatic than the verses that preceded it

12:47 And We sent down torment on them so that they would turn from their disbelief in God to His monotheism and obedience to Him

12:54 And they said, O magician, invoke your Lord for us according to what He has covenanted with you. Indeed, we will be guided

13:04 When We removed the torment from them, behold, they reneged

13:12 And Pharaoh and his entourage said to Moses

13:16 O magician, pray for us to your Lord for what He has entrusted to you, according to His covenant which He has entrusted to you

13:23 If we believe in you and follow you, the shame will be removed from us

13:28 We did not follow you, so we believed you in what you brought to us, and God is the One

13:34 And when We removed the torment from them, behold, after We had revealed that from them, they turned treacherous and persisted in their misguidance.

13:44 And Pharaoh called out to his people and said, “O my people, is the kingdom of Egypt not mine?”

13:52 He said, “O my people, do I not have the kingdom of Egypt while these rivers flow beneath me? Do you not see?”

14:03 And Pharaoh called out to his people from the Copts and said, “O my people, do I not have the kingdom of Egypt and these rivers flow before me in Paradise? Do you not see, O people, the bliss and goodness that I am in and the poverty that Moses is in?”

14:25 Or am I better than this one who is insulting and hardly intelligible?

14:35 Am I better, O people, or this one who has nothing in terms of property and wealth, with the illness in his body, and who can hardly speak out of his tongue?

14:49 Had a gold bracelet not been thrown over him or had the angels not come with him in conjunction

15:03 Should I not cast on Moses, if he is truthful, that he is a Messenger, a bracelet of gold, which is the heart that is placed in the hand, or should the angels not come with him in conjunction, some of them coupled with one another, so they continued to testify to him that he is God’s messenger to them?

15:26 So he belittled his people, so they obeyed him. Indeed, they were a sinful people

15:37 When they were sorry, we attacked them and drowned them all

15:46 So We made them predecessors and examples for others

15:52 So Pharaoh belittled a group of his people, the Copts, with what he said to them, so they accepted that from him, obeyed him, and denied Moses.

16:04 But they obeyed because they were people who disobeyed God and were naturally outside of their hearts

16:12 When they made us angry, we attacked them and drowned them all in the sea

16:19 So let us make those of Pharaoh's people whom We drowned the infidels of your people, O Muhammad

16:29 And the infidels of your people have a legacy, a lesson, and a warning that the nations after them will learn from
