0:13 Surah Al-Baqarah

0:17 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

0:23 And when Abraham was told by his Lord, he fulfilled them

0:32 He said, “I will make you a leader for the people.”

0:38 He said, “And from my descendants.”

0:42 He said: The covenant of the oppressors will not be attained

0:48 And remember when God tested Abraham

0:51 His test was a duty imposed on him

0:55 He ordered him to do so

0:57 Ibrahim completed the words

0:59 Doing for God what He has commanded Him to do

1:03 And God said

1:05 Oh Ibrahim

1:06 I am your destiny for people as a leader to be followed and followed

1:12 Ibrahim said

1:14 Oh my Lord and from my descendants

1:16 So make imams to follow

1:19 God said

1:20 My covenant will not be violated by an enemy who disobeys me

1:24 It is information from God Almighty that He mentioned it to Abraham

1:28 Of his offspring are those who associate others with him and oppress himself and his servants

1:34 And when We made the House a place of rest and security for the people

1:41 They took the place of Abraham as a place of prayer

1:47 We covenanted with Abraham and Ishmael to purify my house

1:55 Purify My House for those who circle around, seclude themselves, and those who kneel and prostrate

2:06 And remember when We made the House a reference for the people

2:09 They come back every year and come back

2:12 And we are safe

2:15 O people, take the place of Abraham as a place of prayer

2:19 You pray with him as an act of worship on your part and as an honor on my part to Abraham

2:26 We commanded Abraham and Ishmael to purify my house of idols and idol worship

2:32 For the sects who roam around

2:35 And those staying at home without circumambulating or praying

2:39 And the people kneeling and prostrating in it

2:43 And when Abraham said, “My Lord, make this a safe country and provide its people with fruits.”

2:53 And provide its family with fruits - whoever of them believes in God and the Last Day

3:02 He said: And whoever has a lot, I will give him a little enjoyment, then I will force him to the torment of the Fire

3:13 Good riddance

3:17 And remember when Abraham said:

3:20 Lord, make this country a safe country from the tyrants controlling it

3:26 We were safe from God's punishment

3:30 And provide the believers of the people of Mecca with fruits rather than the disbelievers

3:35 God told him

3:36 I answered your prayer

3:39 And I will provide for the believers of the people of this country with their infidels

3:43 So I will provide him with a little provision of fruits in this world until his time comes

3:50 Then I will push him to the torment of Hell

3:52 And I lead him to her, dragging and dragging his face

3:57 And evil is the place to which the disbeliever finds himself in the torment of the Fire

4:21 And remember when Abraham and Ishmael raised the foundation of the House

4:25 They say

4:27 May God accept our work, our obedience, and our worship of you

4:32 When we finish your house that you ordered us to build

4:37 You are the Hearer of our prayers and our requests

4:41 The All-Knowing of what is in the consciences of our souls regarding our submission to You in obedience

4:46 And what we reveal and hide of our deeds

4:50 Our Lord, and make us Muslims for you and our descendants

4:56 When we submit to you, show us our rituals and accept our repentance

5:08 You are the Most Merciful

5:16 And make us submit to your command and submit to your obedience

5:20 We do not associate anyone with you in obedience except you

5:24 There is no one but you in worship

5:26 And from our descendants are two nations who have submitted to you

5:30 And show it to our eyes so we can see it

5:34 They castrated some of the offspring

5:36 Because God knew Abraham

5:39 There are those among his descendants who do not fulfill his covenant due to his injustice and immorality

5:45 He showed our eyes the rituals and landmarks of Hajj

5:49 And the places where he draws closer to you by doing good deeds that please you

5:54 Either by sacrifice, or by prayer, circumambulation, or Sa’i

5:59 And turn to us by pardoning us and pardoning our sins and forgiving us and being gracious to us

6:06 It is You who returns favor to Your servants

6:10 And He bestowed upon them pardon and forgiveness

6:13 The Most Merciful to them, the One who rescues whomsoever You wish of them, by Your mercy

6:24 And read your verses to them and teach them

6:29 He teaches them the Book and wisdom and purifies them

6:34 You are the Mighty, the Wise

6:41 Our Lord sent among them a messenger from among themselves

6:44 It is the call of Abraham and Ishmael to our Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, in particular

6:51 He reads to them your book that you inspire them

6:55 And He will teach them Your Book which You reveal to them

6:59 And separate your judgment and rulings

7:02 It purifies them from polytheism and worship of idols

7:06 He develops them and increases them in obedience to God

7:10 You are the Mighty and Powerful

7:12 He who cannot do anything he wants

7:15 So do to us and our descendants what we asked and asked of you

7:21 The wise one is the one in whose management no defect or error enters

7:26 So give us what benefits us and our descendants

7:30 It will not diminish you nor will it diminish your treasures

7:34 Whoever turns away from the religion of Abraham except one who fools himself

7:42 We have chosen him in this world

7:46 In the afterlife, he will be among the righteous

7:53 He does not abdicate in the Muslim Hanifi religion of Abraham

7:57 And he leaves her wanting to go to someone else

8:01 Except a fool who is ignorant of the position of his soul’s share in what benefits it and harms it in its future

8:08 We chose Abraham and chose him for his sake

8:12 And his supporter in this world will be an imam after him

8:16 In the Hereafter, Abraham will be among the righteous who fulfill the rights of God and among the saints

8:25 When his Lord said to him, “I submit,” he said, “I submit to the Lord of the Worlds.”

8:35 When his Lord said to him: Be sincere in worship and submit to Me in obedience

8:41 Abraham said in response to his Lord

8:44 I submitted in obedience and became sincere in worship to the Owner of all creatures

8:49 And its manager and no one else

8:52 And Abraham enjoined it upon his sons, and upon Jacob: O my sons, God has chosen the religion for you

9:03 O my son, God has chosen the religion for you, so do not die unless you are Muslims

9:15 Abraham entrusted his children with this word

9:19 I surrendered to the Lord of the Worlds

9:22 Jacob also gave instructions to his sons

9:25 Then they told them after they knew him

9:28 God has chosen for you this religion which He has entrusted to you

9:33 So fear God, lest you die unless you are in charge of it

9:38 Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob when he said to his sons, “What will you worship after me?”

9:53 They said, “We worship your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac, one God.”

10:05 One God and we submit to Him

10:14 Were you, O community of Jews and Christians, the presence of Jacob and his witnesses when death attended him?

10:21 So they learned what he said to his son and what his son said to him

10:25 Do not pray against false prophets and messengers

10:30 Judaism and Christianity dissolve them

10:34 As Jacob said to his sons when he attended his death

10:38 What will you worship after my death?

10:41 His sons told him

10:43 We worship your deity whom you worship

10:46 The idol of your fathers is Abraham, Ishmael, and Isaac

10:50 One God

10:52 So we devote our worship to Him and unite His divinity

10:56 We do not associate anything with Him, nor do we take a usurer other than Him

11:01 We are subject to Him through servitude and obedience

11:05 Muslims to worship him

11:07 That nation has passed away

11:12 She has what she earned, but you do not earn

11:17 And you will not be asked about what they were doing

11:26 O community of Jews and Christians

11:29 Let us mention Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, and Jacob

11:33 And Muslims are their children

11:35 Do not ascribe them to the disbelief of Judaism and Christianity

11:39 So add it to them

11:42 They are a group that has gone their way

11:45 What good she did for her

11:48 And to you, O community of Jews and Christians, for what you have done

11:52 And you will not be held accountable for what they used to do

11:56 Because every soul has what it has earned and it owes what it has earned

12:01 And they said, “Be Jews or Christians and you will be guided.”

12:06 Say, “Rather, it is the religion of Abraham, a Hanif, and he was not of the polytheists.”

12:15 The Jews said to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions

12:20 Be steadfast and follow the path of truth

12:24 The Christians told them

12:26 Be Christians and follow the path of truth

12:30 Say, Muhammad

12:32 Rather, let us follow the religion of Abraham upright

12:36 He was not one of those who worshiped idols and idols

12:41 He was neither a Jew nor a Christian

12:44 Rather, he was a Hanif Muslim

12:47 Say, “We believe in God and in what was revealed to us.”

12:57 And what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the tribes

13:08 And what was given to Moses and Jesus, and what was given to the prophets from their Lord

13:20 We do not differentiate between any of them and we submit to Him

13:32 Say, O believers, to these Jews and Christians

13:37 We believe in God

13:39 We believed in the Book that was revealed to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace

13:45 We also believed in what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, and Jacob

13:51 And the prophets from the descendants of Jacob

13:54 They also believed in the Torah that God gave Moses

13:59 And with the Gospel that God gave Jesus

14:03 And the books that he gave to all the prophets

14:07 We do not believe in some prophets and disbelieve in others

14:10 Rather, we bear witness to all of them that they were God’s messengers and prophets

14:15 They were sent with truth and guidance

14:18 We submit to Him in obedience

14:21 They submit to Him with servitude

14:24 If they believe as you believe, then they have been guided

14:31 And if they turn away, then they are in discord

14:38 God's concern will be sufficient for you, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing

14:47 If the Jews and Christians were truthful and acknowledged that

14:51 Just as you believers have believed and declared

14:56 They succeeded and guided

14:58 They adhered to the path of truth and were guided

15:01 And if they turn away and turn away, they do not believe in the like of your faith

15:06 They knew that they were only in disobedience and separation

15:10 A war for God, for His Messenger, and for you

15:14 God will suffice you, O Muhammad, for these Jews and Christians

15:19 God is the Hearer of what they say to you in their tongues

15:24 From ignorance and supplication to disbelief

15:26 The One who knows the envy and hatred that they harbor for you and your friends

15:44 Tell them, Muhammad

15:46 Rather, they followed God's religion, Islam

15:49 Who is better in religion than God?

15:52 We are submissive to God in our following the religion of Abraham

15:56 And our condemnation to him is that

15:59 Not arrogant in following His command

16:02 And acknowledgment of the message of His messengers

16:05 Say, “Do you dispute with us about God when He is our Lord and your Lord?”

16:14 He is our Lord and your Lord, and we have our works and you have your works, and we are sincere to Him

16:25 Say, O Muhammad, to the Jews and Christians

16:29 Do you dispute with us and argue with us about the religion of God, which He commanded us to follow?

16:36 He is our Lord and your Lord. In His hand are good deeds, and to Him is reward and punishment

16:43 Each group of us has done and gained good and bad deeds

16:49 We belong to God, the Savior of worship and obedience. We do not associate anything with Him, nor do we worship anyone other than Him

16:58 Or do you say that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribes were Jews or Christians?

17:10 Say, do you know better or God?

17:16 Who is more unjust than he who conceals a testimony he has from God?

17:24 And God is unaware of what you do

17:32 Or do you claim that Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes were Jews or Christians of your religion?

17:41 Your slander and lies are right for people

17:44 Because Judaism and Christianity occurred after those whom God named from His prophets

17:52 Tell them, O Muhammad, do you know more about them and the religions they followed, or God?

17:59 And that someone is more unjust than them, while they have concealed the testimony they have from God

18:05 That those whom God named were Muslims

18:10 God is not unaware of what you do in concealing the truth

18:15 Nor does he neglect to punish you for your actions

18:18 Rather, He is protected from you until He rewards you with it in this present world and the hereafter

18:26 That is a nation that has passed away. They have what they have earned, and you have what you have earned, and you will not be asked about what they used to do

18:45 Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and the tribes

18:50 A nation that has gone on its way and has come to its Lord and is free of its deeds and hopes

18:58 She is entitled to God for the good she earned during the days of her life, and she is entitled to the evil she earned

19:06 And you will not be asked about what they were doing, because every soul will be presented to God on the Day of Resurrection

19:13 You are only asked about what you have earned and what you have lent, not what you have lent to anything else
