0:14 Surah Al-Balad
0:18 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23 I don't swear by this country
0:26 And you are a solution to this country
0:30 And a father and what he gave birth to
0:34 We created man in a liver
0:39 Does he think that no one will be able to do so?
0:44 He says: I have lost money forever
0:48 Does he think no one saw him?
0:53 I swear, O Muhammad, in this forbidden country
0:56 It is Mecca
0:58 And you, Muhammad, are permissible in this country
1:01 You kill whoever you want to kill
1:05 And capture whomever you want to capture
1:07 Absolutely yours
1:09 He swore by his father and his son who was born
1:13 Man was created to struggle with matters and deal with them with severity
1:18 Is this strong considered to be strong because of his skin and strength?
1:22 No one will defeat him or defeat him
1:25 God is victorious and subduer
1:28 He says this is extreme ice
1:31 I lost a lot of money in enmity with Muhammad
1:34 May God bless him and grant him peace
1:36 So I spent that on it
1:38 He is lying in what he says
1:41 Does this person think that I lost money forever?
1:45 Has no one seen him spend what he claims he spent?
1:51 Did we not make him eyes?
1:55 And tongue and lips
2:00 And we gave him help
2:05 Let us storm Aqaba
2:07 How do you know what the obstacle is?
2:10 So he necked him
2:12 Or feeding on a desirable day
2:18 An orphan with a close relative
2:22 Or a poor, dusty person
2:27 Did we not assign to this one who said, “I have destroyed wealth for nothing.”
2:31 Two eyes with which he sees God’s arguments against him
2:34 A language in which he expresses himself what he wants
2:38 And two lips
2:39 Our blessing on him
2:42 And We showed him the two paths
2:44 The path of good and evil
2:46 He did not ride the obstacle
2:48 He cuts it off and permits it
2:50 He mentioned that Al-Aqaba is a mountain in Hell
2:54 And anything makes you feel, O Muhammad, what is the obstacle?
2:58 Then Gilth Naaha explained to him what the obstacle was and what salvation was from it
3:03 What was the reason for its intrusion?
3:05 He said, storm it and cut it off
3:09 Break a neck of slavery and capture slavery
3:13 Or feed, on a day of famine, a child who has no father or a relative
3:18 Or a poor person stuck to the dirt due to poverty and need
3:24 Then he was among those who believed and advised each other to patience and compassion
3:32 Those are the starboard ones
3:37 And those who disbelieve in Our verses are the people of Al-Mashama
3:43 On them is a burning fire
3:49 Then this was the one who said, “I have destroyed wealth forever.”
3:53 Of those who believe in God and His Messenger
3:56 So they believe with them as they believed
3:59 Among those who advised each other to be patient with what befell them in God’s name
4:04 They advised each other to show mercy
4:08 Those who did these deeds that I mentioned
4:12 From freeing slaves, feeding orphans, and so on
4:16 Right holders
4:18 Those who will be taken on the Day of Resurrection with the right hand to Paradise
4:23 And those who disbelieve in our evidence and flags
4:26 Our arguments are from books, messengers, and other things
4:30 They will be the companions of the left on the Day of Resurrection
4:32 Those who are taken to the north
4:35 The fire of Hell will be upon them on the Day of Resurrection
4:41 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
