0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:22 “O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.” (35:15)

0:30 “O mankind! Ye are the poor in your relation to Allah. And Allah! He is the Absolute, the Owner of Praise.” (35:15)

0:37 O mankind, you are the ones in need of your Lord, and you are poor before Him.

0:41 Therefore, worship Him alone.

0:44 Allah is the One who is free of any need for your worship or your service.

0:48 He is the One praised for His blessings.

0:51 If He wills, He can do away with you and bring forth a new creation.

0:59 And that is not difficult for Allah.

1:05 If He wills, O people, your Lord can destroy you.

1:09 This is because He brought you into existence without any need for you.

1:12 And He can bring forth a creation other than you who will obey Him.

1:15 Removing you and bringing forth a different creation is not a difficult task for Allah.

1:20 Rather, that is easy for Him.

1:23 So fear Allah, O people.

1:26 And no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another.

1:31 “And no burdened soul can bear another's burden, and if one heavy laden crieth for (help with) his load, naught of it will be lifted even though he (unto whom he crieth) be of kin. Thou warnest only those who fear their Lord in secret, and have established worship. He who groweth (in goodness), groweth only for himself, (he cannot by his merit redeem others). Unto Allah is the journeying.” (35:18)

2:00 And to Allah is the final destination.

2:04 No sinful soul shall carry the sin of another besides itself.

2:08 And if a soul heavily laden with sins calls for someone to carry its burdens for it,

2:13 It will find no one to carry anything for it.

2:16 Even if the one it asks is a close relative, such as a father or a brother.

2:21 You, O Muhammad, only warn those who fear the punishment of Allah on the Day of Resurrection,

2:26 Even though they have not witnessed it.

2:29 These are the ones who benefit from your warning.

2:33 And perform the obligatory prayer.

2:35 Whoever purifies himself from the filth of disbelief and sins by repenting to Allah,

2:40 He purifies himself only for his own benefit.

2:43 This is because through it, he earns the pleasure of Allah.

2:46 And to Allah is the return of every one of you, O people.

2:51 He will recompense all of you for what you have sent forth of good or evil.

3:12 The blind man, who is blind to the religion of Allah, is not equal to

3:15 The one who sees, who has perceived his path of guidance and followed Muhammad (peace be upon him).

3:20 The darkness of disbelief and the light of faith are not equal.

3:24 Nor are Paradise and the Fire equal.

3:48 The living, whose hearts are alive with faith in Allah and His Messenger, are not equal to

3:54 The dead, whose hearts are dead due to the dominance of disbelief over them.

3:58 Just as one who is in the graves cannot hear the Book of Allah,

4:02 So too, one whose heart is dead cannot benefit from the admonitions and proofs of Allah.

4:19 You, O Muhammad, are only a warner, warning these polytheists.

4:25 We have sent you, O Muhammad, with faith in Allah,

4:30 As a bearer of glad tidings of Paradise to those who believe you,

4:33 And a warner of the Fire to those who deny you.

4:36 And there is no nation but that a warner has passed through it before you.

4:41 A warner has passed through it before you to warn them.

4:44 And there is no nation but that a warner has passed through it before you.

4:49 Warning them of Our severity regarding their disbelief in Allah,

4:54 “And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light.” (35:25)

5:11 And by the scriptures and the enlightening Book.

5:16 And if the polytheists of your people deny you, O Muhammad,

5:20 Then those before them from the nations also denied, those to whom their messengers came with clear proofs,

5:27 And who brought them scriptures from Allah.

5:30 And the enlightening Book came to them from Allah for whoever contemplates and reflects upon it.

5:35 “Then seized I those who disbelieved, and how intense was My abhorrence!” (35:26)

5:41 So how was My rejection of them?

5:45 Then We destroyed those who rejected the message of Our messengers.

5:49 So observe, O Muhammad, how My transformation of their state was and how My punishment befell them.

6:19 Do you not see, O Muhammad, that Allah sends down rain from the sky?

6:29 With it, We water trees.

6:32 And We bring forth from those trees fruits of various colors.

6:37 Among them are red, black, yellow, and others.

6:41 And in the mountains are tracks,

6:44 Which are the paths that exist in the mountains,

6:47 White and red,

6:49 Of various colors of the strata,

6:51 And intensely black ones.

6:54 “And of men and beasts and cattle, in like manner, divers hues? The erudite among His bondmen fear Allah alone. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Forgiving.” (35:28)

7:05 “And of men and beasts and cattle, in like manner, divers hues? The erudite among His bondmen fear Allah alone. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Forgiving.” (35:28)

7:11 “And of men and beasts and cattle, in like manner, divers hues? The erudite among His bondmen fear Allah alone. Lo! Allah is Mighty, Forgiving.” (35:28)

7:16 And among people, moving creatures, and grazing livestock are various colors, just as there are various colors among fruits and mountains,

7:26 In redness, whiteness, blackness, and others.

7:30 Only those among His servants who have knowledge fear Allah, and thus they dread His punishment because of His power over whatever He wills.

7:37 Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might, capable of vengeance against those who disbelieve,

7:41 And Forgiving of the sins of those who believe in Him.

7:45 “Lo! those who read the Scripture of Allah, and establish worship, and spend of that which We have bestowed on them secretly and openly, they look forward to imperishable gain,” (35:29)

7:55 And they spend from what We have provided them, secretly and openly.

8:03 “Lo! those who read the Scripture of Allah, and establish worship, and spend of that which We have bestowed on them secretly and openly, they look forward to imperishable gain,” (35:29)

8:12 Those who recite the Book of Allah,

8:14 And perform the obligatory prayer,

8:17 And give in charity from the wealth We have given them, secretly in private and openly in public,

8:24 Hope through that action for a trade that will never stagnate and never perish.

8:30 “That He will pay them their wages and increase them of His grace. Lo! He is Forgiving, Responsive.” (35:30)

8:37 Indeed, He is Forgiving, Appreciative.

8:42 And Allah will pay them in full the reward for their deeds,

8:48 And He will increase them from His bounty, for that is what He is worthy of.

8:53 Indeed, Allah is Forgiving of the sins of these people,

8:56 Appreciative of their good deeds.

9:00 “As for that which We inspire in thee of the Scripture, it is the Truth confirming that which was (revealed) before it. Lo! Allah is indeed Observer, Seer of His slaves.” (35:31)

9:05 Confirming what was before it.

9:08 “As for that which We inspire in thee of the Scripture, it is the Truth confirming that which was (revealed) before it. Lo! Allah is indeed Observer, Seer of His slaves.” (35:31)

9:17 And that which We have revealed to you, O Muhammad, of this Qur'an is the truth.

9:22 It is incumbent upon you and your Ummah to act upon it.

9:26 And it confirms the scriptures that preceded it.

9:30 Indeed, Allah is well-acquainted with His servants and what they do.

9:34 He is All-Seeing regarding the management that is best for them.

9:39 “Then We gave the Scripture as inheritance unto those whom We elected of Our bondmen. But of them are some who wrong themselves and of them are some who are lukewarm, and of them are some who outstrip (others) through good deeds, by Allah's leave. That is the great favour!” (35:32)

10:07 Then We caused those whom We chose from Our servants among the Ummah of Muhammad (peace be upon him) to inherit the Book.

10:13 Among them is he who wrongs himself by committing sins,

10:18 Among them is he who is moderate, not exerting himself fully in the obedience of his Lord,

10:23 And among them is he who is foremost in good deeds,

10:26 And he is the one who has excelled and surpassed those who strive in the service of their Lord.

10:31 He has surpassed them in righteous deeds through Allah’s granting him success.

10:36 This surpassing by the foremost is the great bounty,

10:39 By which he was favored over those who fell short of his station.

10:43 Gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter.

10:49 They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls,

10:59 And their garments therein will be silk.

11:04 Gardens of residence which those whom We caused to inherit the Book will enter.

11:10 They will wear therein bracelets of gold and pearls,

11:14 And their garments in Paradise will be silk.

11:18 And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us all sorrow."

11:24 “And they say: Praise be to Allah Who hath put grief away from us. Lo! Our Lord is Forgiving, Bountiful,” (35:34)

11:32 And they will say, "Praise to Allah, who has removed from us all types of sorrow."

11:38 Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving of the sins of His servants who repented from their sins,

11:43 Appreciative of them for their obedience to Him.

11:47 “Who, of His grace, hath installed us in the mansion of eternity, where toil toucheth us not nor can weariness affect us.” (35:35)

11:57 “Who, of His grace, hath installed us in the mansion of eternity, where toil toucheth us not nor can weariness affect us.” (35:35)

12:06 Our Lord, who has settled us in Paradise, so we shall not depart from it.

12:12 No fatigue, pain, hardship, or exhaustion will touch us therein.

12:17 “But as for those who disbelieve, for them is fire of hell; it taketh not complete effect upon them so that they can die, nor is its torment lightened for them. Thus We punish every ingrate.” (35:36)

12:31 “But as for those who disbelieve, for them is fire of hell; it taketh not complete effect upon them so that they can die, nor is its torment lightened for them. Thus We punish every ingrate.” (35:36)

12:40 And those who disbelieve in Allah and His Messenger will have the fire of Hell.

12:45 It will not be decreed for them to die, for if they were to die, they would find rest.

12:52 And the punishment of Hell will not be lightened for them.

12:56 Thus do We recompense every ungrateful denier of his Lord’s blessings.

13:01 “And they cry for help there, (saying): Our Lord! Release us; we will do right, not (the wrong) that we used to do. Did not We grant you a life long enough for him who reflected to reflect therein? And the warner came unto you. Now taste (the flavour of your deeds), for evil-doers have no helper.” (35:37)

13:12 “And they cry for help there, (saying): Our Lord! Release us; we will do right, not (the wrong) that we used to do. Did not We grant you a life long enough for him who reflected to reflect therein? And the warner came unto you. Now taste (the flavour of your deeds), for evil-doers have no helper.” (35:37)

13:24 “And they cry for help there, (saying): Our Lord! Release us; we will do right, not (the wrong) that we used to do. 13:30 And these disbelievers will cry out and wail in the Fire.

13:36 They will say, "Our Lord, bring us out; we will do righteousness in obedience to You,

13:41 Other than what we used to do before of Your disobedience."

13:45 Did We not give you life, O assembly of those who disbelieve in Allah, for years,

13:50 In which whoever would remember could remember, from among those of understanding and intellect?

13:55 And a warner came to you from Allah.

13:58 It is said that he is Muhammad (peace be upon him), and it is said that he is gray hair.

14:02 Yet you did not heed the admonitions of Allah.

14:05 So taste the punishment of the fire of Hell.

14:07 There is no helper for the disbelievers who wronged themselves to aid them against Allah.

14:27 Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing of what you conceal, O people, within yourselves,

14:33 And what is hidden in the heavens and the earth.

14:37 Indeed, He is All-Knowing of that which is within the breasts.

14:40 So fear Him, lest He discover you while you are harboring doubt in your hearts regarding the oneness of Allah.

15:09 Allah is the One who made you, O people, successors upon the earth,

15:16 After 'Ad, Thamud, and those nations who passed before you.

15:21 So whoever disbelieves in Allah among you, the harm of his disbelief is upon himself.

15:26 And their disbelief does not increase the disbelievers in the sight of their Lord except in distance from the mercy of Allah.

15:32 And their disbelief in Allah does not increase the disbelievers except in ruin.

15:37 “Say: Have ye seen your partner-gods to whom ye pray beside Allah? Show me what they created of the earth! Or have they any portion in the heavens? Or have We given them a scripture so they act on clear proof therefrom? Nay, the evil-doers promise one another only to deceive.” (35:40)

15:46 Show Me what they have created from the earth.

15:52 Or do they have a partnership in the heavens?

15:57 Or do they have a partnership in the heavens?

16:01 Or have We given them a scripture,

16:05 So that they are on clear evidence from it?

16:10 “Say: Have ye seen your partner-gods to whom ye pray beside Allah? Show me what they created of the earth! Or have they any portion in the heavens? Or have We given them a scripture so they act on clear proof therefrom? Nay, the evil-doers promise one another only to deceive.” (35:40)

16:19 Say, O Muhammad, "Have you considered, O people, your partners whom you call upon besides Allah?

16:26 Show Me what they have created from the earth.

16:29 Or do your partners have a partnership with Allah in the heavens?"

16:32 Or have We given these polytheists a scripture that We revealed to them from the sky,

16:38 Commanding them to associate idols with Allah?

16:41 So they are on clear proof regarding the polytheism they were commanded to do.

16:46 “Say: Have ye seen your partner-gods to whom ye pray beside Allah? Show me what they created of the earth! Or have they any portion in the heavens? Or have We given them a scripture so they act on clear proof therefrom? Nay, the evil-doers promise one another only to deceive.” (35:40)

16:51 And that is the saying of some of them to others:

16:54 "We do not worship them except that they may bring us closer to Allah in position."

16:58 It is nothing but deception and delusion from some of them to others.
