0:23 “Recite unto them the story of Noah, when he told his people: O my people! If my sojourn (here) and my reminding you by Allah's revelations are an offence unto you, in Allah have I put my trust, so decide upon your course of action you and your partners. Let not your course of action be in doubt for you. Then have at me, give me no respite.” (10:71)

1:17 When he said to his people: "O my people, if my presence among you and my reminding you of the arguments of Allah has become burdensome to you,"

1:25 And my exhortation to you with the proofs of Allah.

1:27 "Then you have resolved to kill me or drive me out."

1:31 "Upon Allah is my reliance, and in Him is my trust."

1:34 "So prepare your plan and call upon your deities."

1:38 "Then let not your plan be a matter of confusion or doubt for you."

1:42 "Then execute against me whatever you have in mind, and do not delay."

1:47 Because he was not afraid of their plotting.

1:51 This is an encouragement from Allah to His Prophet, peace be upon him, to console him.

1:58 “But if ye are averse I have asked of you no wage. My wage is the concern of Allah only, and I am commanded to be of those who surrender (unto Him).” (10:72)

2:04 "My reward is only from Allah."

2:07 "And I have been commanded to be among the Muslims."

2:13 If you turn away, O people, from me—

2:16 After I have conveyed the message of my Lord to you, turning your backs—

2:20 Then you are the ones who lose out and fail in the duty you owe to Allah.

2:25 It is not because of anything on my part.

2:28 For I have not asked you for any reward for what I have called you to.

2:32 The reward for my work and its recompense is only with my Lord.

2:36 And my Lord has commanded me to be among those who submit to Him in obedience.

2:41 Those who are compliant to His commands and prohibitions.

2:51 And We made them successors.

2:54 And We made them successors.

2:57 And We drowned those who denied Our signs.

3:02 So observe how the end of those who were warned turned out.

3:09 His people denied Noah.

3:11 So We saved him and those who were with him in the ark.

3:15 And We made those whom We saved with Noah in the ark—

3:19 Successors on the earth, replacing his people who had denied him.

3:23 And We drowned those who denied Our proofs and evidence for Our Oneness.

3:29 So observe, O Muhammad, how the end of those whom Noah warned of Allah’s punishment turned out.

3:35 For the end of those who deny you among your people—

3:39 Will be like the end of the people of Noah when they denied him.

3:43 If they do not repent.

3:46 “Then, after him, We sent messengers unto their folk, and they brought them clear proofs. But they were not ready to believe in that which they before denied. Thus print We on the hearts of the transgressors.” (10:74)

4:39 Likewise, We set a seal upon the hearts of those who transgress against their Lord.

4:43 By overstepping what He commanded them regarding His Oneness.

4:46 As a punishment for their disobedience to their Lord.

4:51 Then We sent after them Moses and Aaron.

4:58 “Then, after them, We sent Moses and Aaron unto Pharaoh and his chiefs with Our revelations, but they were arrogant and were a guilty folk.” (10:75)

5:04 But they grew arrogant and were a criminal people.

5:11 Then We sent after those messengers—

5:14 Moses and Aaron.

5:16 To the Pharaoh of Egypt and the elite and leaders of his people.

5:20 With Our evidence for the truth of what they called them to: submission to Allah.

5:26 But they grew arrogant and refused to acknowledge what Moses and Aaron called them to.

5:31 And they were a sinful people due to their disbelief in Allah.

5:36 So when the truth came to them from Us.

5:41 “And when the Truth from Our presence came unto them, they said: Lo! this is mere magic.” (10:76)

5:47 “Moses said: Speak ye (so) of the Truth when it hath come unto you? Is this magic? Now magicians thrive not.” (10:77)

6:01 When the explanation of what Moses and Aaron called them to came to them.

6:06 And the proofs that they brought them.

6:10 They said: "This is clearly magic, evident to anyone who sees and witnesses it."

6:17 Moses said to them: "Do you say of the truth when it has come to you from Allah that it is magic?"

6:23 This is from the speech of Moses: "Is this truth that you see magic?"

6:29 "And the magicians will not succeed, nor will they endure."

6:34 They said: "Have you come to us to turn us away from what we found our fathers upon?"

6:47 "And that you two may have greatness in the land?"

6:57 “They said: Hast thou come unto us to pervert us from that (faith) in which we found our fathers, and that you two may own the place of greatness in the land? We will not believe you two.” (10:78)

7:03 Pharaoh and his elite said to Moses:

7:06 "Have you come to us to divert us and turn us away from the religion we found our fathers upon before your arrival?"

7:14 "And that you two may have greatness, kingdom, and authority in the land?"

7:18 "And we are not going to believe you two, O Moses and Aaron, that you are messengers sent to us."

7:27 And Pharaoh said: "Bring me every learned magician."

7:33 “And when the wizards came, Moses said unto them: Cast your cast!” (10:80)

7:49 And Pharaoh said to his people: "Bring me every magician who is skilled in magic."

7:57 So when the magicians came to Pharaoh.

7:59 Moses said: "Cast what you are going to cast of your ropes and staffs."

8:07 “And when they had cast, Moses said: That which ye have brought is magic. Lo! Allah will make it vain. Lo! Allah upholdeth not the work of mischief-makers.” (10:81)

8:14 “And when they had cast, Moses said: That which ye have brought is magic. Lo! Allah will make it vain. Lo! Allah upholdeth not the work of mischief-makers.” (10:81)

8:25 So when they cast what they were going to cast.

8:28 Moses said to them: "What you have brought is magic; Allah will surely render it void."

8:35 And He, may His mention be exalted, rendered it void by empowering the staff of Moses over it.

8:40 He transformed it into a serpent that swallowed it up until nothing of it remained.

8:46 Indeed, the work of those who strive in the land of Allah with what He dislikes and commit sins therein will not prosper.

8:54 And Allah establishes the truth by His words, even if the criminals dislike it.

9:02 And Allah confirms the truth that I have brought you from Him.

9:07 And He makes it prevail over your falsehood.

9:09 Even if those who earned sin against their Lord by disobeying Him dislike it.

9:16 “But none trusted Moses, save some scions of his people, (and they were) in fear of Pharaoh and their chiefs, that he would persecute them. Lo! Pharaoh was verily a tyrant in the land, and lo! he verily was of the wanton.” (10:83)

9:42 But no one believed in Moses except a few descendants from his people, the Children of Israel, after the death of their fathers.

9:50 And they were afraid of Pharaoh and his elite, that they would persecute them with torment and turn them away from their religion.

9:57 And Pharaoh was indeed a tyrant, arrogant toward Allah in His land.

10:01 And he was indeed among those who transgress from the truth to falsehood.

10:05 And that was his denial of the Oneness of Allah.

10:10 “And Moses said: O my people! If ye have believed in Allah then put trust in Him, if ye have indeed surrendered (unto Him)!” (10:84)

10:27 “They said: In Allah we put trust. Our Lord! Oh, make us not a lure for the wrongdoing folk;” (10:85)

10:37 "And save us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people."

10:45 And Moses said: "O my people, if you have affirmed the Oneness of Allah, then in Him place your trust, and to His command submit."

10:54 For He will never forsake His ally if you are submissive to Allah in obedience.

11:00 They said: "In Allah we have placed our trust, and to Him we have entrusted our affair."

11:06 "Our Lord, do not make these disbelieving people a trial for us."

11:11 So they beseeched Allah to protect them from being a source of tribulation for the people of Pharaoh.

11:17 And a trial and a barrier from following Moses.

11:20 And from affirming him and what he brought them.

11:24 "And save us, our Lord, by Your mercy."

11:27 "And deliver us from the hands of the disbelieving people, the people of Pharaoh."

11:31 Because they were enslaving them.

11:34 And using them for the vile tasks of their service.

11:39 “And We inspired Moses and his brother, (saying): Appoint houses for your people in Egypt and make your houses oratories, and establish worship. And give good news to the believers.” (10:87)

11:48 "And make your houses a place of worship."

11:51 “And We inspired Moses and his brother, (saying): Appoint houses for your people in Egypt and make your houses oratories, and establish worship. And give good news to the believers.” (10:87)

11:57 "And give glad tidings to the believers."

12:02 And We inspired Moses and his brother to take houses for their people in Egypt.

12:08 "And make your houses places of prayer where you worship."

12:12 "And perform the prescribed prayer with its requirements at its appointed times."

12:17 And give glad tidings to those who establish prayer and obey Allah, O Muhammad.

12:21 To the believers, of the abundant reward from Him.

12:26 “And Moses said: Our Lord! Lo! Thou hast given Pharaoh and his chiefs splendour and riches in the life of the world, Our Lord! that they may lead men astray from Thy way. Our Lord! Destroy their riches and harden their hearts so that they believe not till they see the painful doom.” (10:88)

13:01 And Moses said:

13:03 "Our Lord, You have given Pharaoh and the leaders of his people and their elite,"

13:08 "Of the comforts and luxuries of this world,"

13:11 "And wealth of gold and silver in the life of this world,"

13:16 "That they may lead others astray from Your path as a punishment from You."

13:22 “And Moses said: Our Lord! Lo! Thou hast given Pharaoh and his chiefs splendour and riches in the life of the world, Our Lord! that they may lead men astray from Thy way. Our Lord! Destroy their riches and harden their hearts so that they believe not till they see the painful doom.” (10:88)

13:28 This is a supplication from Moses.

13:31 "Our Lord, change their wealth from its form."

13:35 "And replace it with something other than the state it is in."

13:38 "And seal their hearts so that they do not soften or open to faith."

13:44 "So that they do not believe in the Oneness of Allah and affirm His Oneness."

13:48 "Until they see the painful punishment."

13:53 “He said: Your prayer is heard. Do ye twain keep to the straight path, and follow not the road of those who have no knowledge.” (10:89)

13:58 "So remain on the right path, and do not follow the way of those who do not know."

14:10 Allah said to them both:

14:12 "Your supplication regarding Pharaoh, his elite, and their wealth has been answered."

14:17 "So remain steadfast and firm in your call to Pharaoh and his people."

14:21 "Do not follow me into responding to the Oneness of Allah and His obedience."

14:25 "And do not follow the path of those who are ignorant of the reality of My promise."

14:30 "So that you do not hasten My decree."

14:33 For My promise has no failure.

14:35 And My threat is descending upon Pharaoh.

14:38 And My punishment is coming to pass upon him and his people.
