In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:05
Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08
It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:14
Surah Al-A'raf
0:17
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23
And if their eyes are directed toward the companions of the Fire
0:30
They said, “Our Lord, do not place us with the unjust people.”
0:41
And if the eyes of the people of Al-A`raf are turned towards the people of Hell
0:46
So they looked at God's distortion of them
0:49
They said, “Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people.”
0:53
Those who wronged themselves
0:55
So they earned them your wrath and inherited from your torment they are in
1:02
The people of Al-A'raf called out men they recognized by their marks
1:13
They said, “Your gathering is of no use to you, and you were not arrogant.”
1:27
The people of Al-A'raf called men from the people of the land
1:31
They know them as the people of Hell
1:34
They said, “How much money and resources you have accumulated in this world is of no use to you.”
1:40
And your arrogance in which you used to be arrogant
1:46
Are these whom you swore that God will not receive mercy?
1:54
Enter Paradise, and you will have no fear, nor will you grieve
2:04
God told the arrogant people about acknowledging the oneness of God
2:09
O giants of the world
2:11
Are these weak people whom you swore that God would not have mercy on them?
2:18
He said
2:19
I have forgiven them and had mercy on them by My grace and mercy
2:23
Enter Paradise, O people of the norms
2:27
Thereafter, you will have no fear of punishment
2:32
Nor do you grieve over anything you missed in your world
2:38
The inmates of Hell called on the inmates of Paradise to pour water on us
2:47
If you pour water on us or of what God has provided for you
2:55
They said that God forbade them to the unbelievers
3:02
He called out to the companions of the fire after they entered it
3:06
Companions of Paradise after they inhabited it
3:09
O people of Paradise
3:11
They poured water on us
3:13
Or feed us with the food God has provided you with
3:18
The people of Paradise said
3:20
God forbade water and food to those who denied His monotheism
3:25
And they denied His messengers in this world
3:29
Those who took their religion as amusement and play, and were deceived by the life of this world
3:39
Today we forget them just as they forgot the encounter of this day of theirs
3:46
They also forgot the meeting of their day
3:51
And they did not deny Our signs
3:56
Those who took their religion as a mockery and a game
4:00
He deceived them and deceived them because of their livelihood
4:04
About taking their share of the afterlife
4:07
On this day is the Day of Resurrection
4:10
We will leave them in the clear torment
4:12
They also left work to meet their day
4:16
And just as they used to deny Our signs
4:21
We brought them a book and explained it with knowledge
4:28
We established it with knowledge, guidance and mercy for a people who believe
4:38
I swear, O Muhammad, we have brought the Qur’an to these people
4:43
Clarifying truth from falsehood
4:46
We are aware of the truth that was decided upon
4:50
From the falsehood in which he was distinguished
4:52
We have made it clear that he may guide and have mercy on people who believe in him
4:57
Through it, he saves them from misguidance to guidance
5:02
Do they only consider its interpretation?
5:06
The day its interpretation comes, those who forgot it before will say
5:13
The messengers of our Lord have come with the truth
5:23
Do we have any intercessors who can intercede for us?
5:32
Then they will intercede for us, or we will be sent back and do something other than what we were doing
5:40
They have lost themselves, and what they were inventing has gone astray from them
5:49
Are these polytheists waiting for anything except what their command tells them?
5:54
From their exposure to God's punishment
5:57
On the day when what their command says will come of God’s punishment
6:02
Those who have wasted what they were commanded to do say
6:05
The messengers of our Lord have come with the truth
6:08
Do we have any friends and guardians today who can intercede for us with our Lord?
6:14
Their intercession will save us from what has befallen us
6:18
Or we return to this world again
6:20
We work on it to his satisfaction
6:23
They have deceived themselves
6:26
By selling them money, he risked eternal bliss in the afterlife
6:31
With the vileness of the fleeting display of the world
6:34
And their friends, who used to worship them instead of God, were terrified of them
7:01
He is your master and the fixer of your affairs, people
7:05
He is the deity to whom worship is due
7:08
Who created the heavens and the earth in six days
7:13
Ten years ago
7:15
And ten years
7:17
And ten years
7:20
And ten years
7:22
And ten years
7:24
And ten years
7:26
And ten years
7:29
And ten years
7:30
Lays down land in six days
7:33
Then he ascended to the throne
7:35
Night turns into day
7:37
So he wears it
7:39
Until his gaze and light are gone
7:42
The night quickly demands the day
7:45
He created the sun, moon, and stars
7:48
God commanded them
7:49
So I obeyed his command
7:51
Indeed, all creation belongs to God
7:54
It is something that cannot be contradicted or rejected
7:56
Blessed be God, our God, to whom everything is worshiped, Lord of the Worlds
8:03
Pray to your Lord humbly and secretly. He does not like aggressors
8:17
O people, pray to your Lord in humility and submissiveness
8:21
And secretly, with the humility of your hearts, not openly or hypocritically
8:26
Your Lord does not love someone who transgresses and exceeds the limit that he has set for his servants in his supplication and asking his Lord
8:35
And do not cause corruption in the land after it has been put in order, and call upon Him in fear and hope. Indeed, God’s mercy is close to those who do good
8:54
Do not associate anything with God on earth and do not disobey Him on it after God has restored it
9:02
By sending messengers as preachers of the truth
9:06
And pray and work sincerely for him, fearing his punishment and hoping for his reward
9:12
The reward of God, which He promised the doers of good, is near to them
9:18
It is He who sends the winds bringing good news before His mercy, until when they carry heavy clouds, we drive them to a dead land
9:39
So We sent down water with it, and brought forth with it all kinds of fruits. Thus We bring forth the dead, so that you may remember
10:02
It is He who sends the winds bringing good news of rain before His mercy and creates heavy clouds with them
10:09
Even if God carried it, God would send it to revive a dead country, and He would send down rain on it and bring forth all kinds of fruits
10:19
Just as we revive this dead country, so we bring the dead out of their graves alive
10:26
So that you may consider and learn that whoever has the power to do so, it is within his power to revive the dead after they have perished
10:36
And the good land brings forth its vegetation by the permission of its Lord, and the bad one does not come forth except with distress. Thus We convey the signs to a people who are grateful.
10:55
And the country has good soil. Its plants grow when God sends down rain, with His permission, and its fruit is good in its season and time.
11:05
And he who is wicked and spoils the soil does not produce his plants except with hardship and hardship. Thus We explain verse after verse
11:15
We give example after example of people who thank God for bestowing guidance upon them and enlightening them on the path of the people of misguidance.
11:26
This is a parable that God strikes for the believer and the unbeliever. The good country that grows plants with the permission of its Lord is a parable for the believer
11:36
And the one who is evil does not produce his plants except in disrepair, like an unbeliever
11:46
We said to Noah to his people, and he said, “O my people, Abdullah, you have no god other than Him. I fear for you the torment of a great day.”
12:03
Our Lord swore that He sent Noah to his people and said to those of them who disbelieved, O my people, the servant of God is His, to whom worship belongs
12:14
For you do not have a deity that requires you to worship other than Him, so I fear for you if you do not do that
12:23
The torment of a day in which your affliction will be great by coming to you out of the wrath of your Lord
12:30
The leaders of his people said, “We see you in clear error.”
12:40
The group of men from Noah’s people said, “Indeed, we see you, O Noah, in a matter that departs from the truth. Its departure from the true intention is clear to those who contemplate it.”
12:53
He said, “O my people, I am not misguided, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds.”
13:04
Noah said, “O my people, why did I command you to profess monotheism for God out of my abandonment of the truth and misguidance from the path of truth?”
13:15
But I am a messenger to you from the Lord of the Worlds, acknowledging His oneness and disavowal of equals and gods
13:25
I convey to you the messages of my Lord and advise you, and I know from God what you do not know
13:36
He sent me to you, for I convey to you the messages of my Lord and advise you in warning you of God’s punishment, and I know from God what you do not know.
13:49
That his punishment will not be averted from the criminal people
13:54
Or do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord about a man from among you to warn you and that you may fear, and that you may receive mercy?
14:16
Or do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from God and an admonition with a man from among you to warn you of God’s punishment and to make you fear His punishment?
14:27
And so that you may fear God’s punishment and punishment, and may your Lord have mercy on you if you areware of His punishment
14:34
But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ark, and We drowned those who denied Our signs. Indeed, they were a blind people.
14:56
So Noah's people lied and disobeyed the command of their Lord, so God saved him in the ark and those with him who believed in him, and We drowned those who denied his arguments, if they were a people blind to the truth.
15:15
Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
