0:17 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:23 “And when their eyes are turned toward the dwellers of the Fire, they say: Our Lord! Place us not with the wrong-doing folk.” (7:47)

0:30 They said, "Our Lord, do not place us with the wrongdoing people."

0:41 And when the eyes of the people of al-A‘raf are turned toward the companions of the Fire,

0:46 they look upon the state of disgrace to which Allah has subjected them.

0:49 “And when their eyes are turned toward the dwellers of the Fire, they say: Our Lord! Place us not with the wrong-doing folk.” (7:47)

0:53 Those who wronged themselves,

0:55 having earned through their disobedience such wrath from You that it brought upon them the punishment they are now in.

1:02 The people of al-A‘raf will call out to men they recognize by their marks.

1:13 “And the dwellers on the Heights call unto men whom they know by their marks, (saying): What did your multitude and that in which ye took your pride avail you?” (7:48)

1:27 The people of al-A‘raf will call out to men from the people of the Earth,

1:31 recognizing them by the marks of the people of the Fire.

1:34 They will say, "Of what avail to you were your worldly accumulations of wealth and numbers?"

1:40 "And the arrogance you used to display therein?"

1:46 “Are these they of whom ye swore that Allah would not show them mercy? (Unto them it hath been said): Enter the Garden. No fear shall come upon you nor is it ye who will grieve.” (7:49)

2:04 Allah will say to those who were too arrogant to acknowledge the oneness of Allah,

2:09 "O you tyrants of the world,

2:11 are these the weak ones whom you swore that Allah would never reach with mercy?"

2:18 He will say,

2:19 "I have forgiven them and granted them mercy through My grace and compassion."

2:23 "Enter Paradise, O people of al-A‘raf."

2:27 "No fear shall be upon you thereafter of any punishment to be inflicted upon you,"

2:32 "nor shall you grieve over anything you missed in your worldly life."

3:11 “And the dwellers of the Fire cry out unto the dwellers of the Garden: Pour on us some water or some wherewith Allah hath provided you. They say: Lo! Allah hath forbidden both to disbelievers (in His guidance),” (7:50)

3:13 or give us some of the food that Allah has provided for you."

3:18 The people of Paradise will reply,

3:20 "Indeed, Allah has forbidden both water and food to those who rejected His oneness,"

3:25 "and who denied His messengers during their worldly life."

3:29 “Who took their religion for a sport and pastime, and whom the life of the world beguiled. So this day We have forgotten them even as they forgot the meeting of this their Day and as they used to deny Our tokens.” (7:51)

3:39 "So today, We will forget them just as they forgot the meeting of this day of theirs,"

3:46 "just as they forgot the meeting of this day of theirs."

3:51 “Who took their religion for a sport and pastime, and whom the life of the world beguiled. So this day We have forgotten them even as they forgot the meeting of this their Day and as they used to deny Our tokens.” (7:51)

3:56 Those who took their religion as amusement and play,

4:00 and whom the fleeting life they were in deceived,

4:04 away from taking their share of the Hereafter.

4:07 So on this day, the Day of Resurrection,

4:10 We will leave them in the manifest torment,

4:12 just as they neglected to work for the meeting of this day of theirs,

4:16 and just as they used to deny Our signs.

4:21 We have indeed brought them a Book which We have detailed with knowledge,

4:28 detailed with knowledge, as guidance and mercy for a people who believe.

4:38 I swear, O Muhammad, that We have brought these people the Qur’an,

4:43 clarifying within it the truth from falsehood,

4:46 based on Our knowledge of the truth detailed therein,

4:50 and the falsehood distinguished therein.

4:52 We have clarified it so that a people who believe in it may be guided and shown mercy,

4:57 and through it, they are saved from misguidance and brought to guidance.

5:02 “Await they aught save the fulfilment thereof? On the day when the fulfilment thereof cometh, those who were before forgetful thereof will say: The messengers of our Lord did bring the Truth! Have we any intercessors, that they may intercede for us? Or can we be returned (to life on earth), that we may act otherwise than we used to act? They have lost their souls, and that which they devised hath failed them.” (7:53)

5:13 "The messengers of our Lord have indeed come with the truth."

Have we any intercessors, that they may intercede for us? Or can we be returned (to life on earth), that we may act otherwise than we used to act? 5:49 Do these polytheists await anything other than the final outcome of their affairs,

5:54 which is their arrival at the punishment of Allah?

5:57 On the day when the outcome of their affairs arrives—the punishment of Allah—

6:02 those who neglected what they were commanded to do will say,

6:05 "The messengers of our Lord have indeed come with the truth."

6:08 "So are there any friends or intercessors for us today who might intercede for us before our Lord,"

6:14 "so that their intercession might save us from what has befallen us?"

6:18 "Or could we be returned to the world once more,"

6:20 "so that we might act therein in a way that pleases Him?"

6:23 They have cheated their own souls of their share of good,

6:26 by trading that which has no value—the eternal bliss of the Hereafter—

6:31 for the base, fleeting goods of this world.

6:34 And those whom they used to worship instead of Allah have abandoned them.

7:01 "Your Master and the One who rectifies your affairs, O people,"

7:05 "is the Worshipped One to whom all worship is due,"

7:08 "who created the heavens and the earth in six days."

7:13 Ten years,

7:15 and ten years,

7:17 and ten years,

7:20 and ten years,

7:22 and ten years,

7:24 and ten years,

7:26 and ten years,

7:29 and ten years.

7:30 He created the earth in six days,

7:33 then He rose over the Throne.

7:35 He causes the night to enter the day,

7:37 covering it with it,

7:39 until its brightness and light vanish.

7:42 The night pursues the day rapidly.

7:45 And He created the sun, the moon, and the stars,

7:48 all subjected by Allah’s command.

7:49 They obey His command.

7:51 Indeed, to Allah belongs all creation,

7:54 and the command that cannot be opposed or rejected.

7:56 Blessed is Allah, our Worshipped One, to whom belongs the worship of everything, the Lord of the worlds.

8:03 “(O mankind!) Call upon your Lord humbly and in secret. Lo! He loveth not aggressors.” (7:55)

8:17 Call upon your Lord, O people, in humility and submissiveness,

8:21 and in secret, with the reverence of your hearts, not openly or for show.

8:26 Indeed, your Lord does not love those who transgress by exceeding the limits He has set for His servants in their supplication and requests to their Lord.

8:35 “Work not confusion in the earth after the fair ordering (thereof). and call on Him in fear and hope. Lo! the mercy of Allah is nigh unto the good.” (7:56)

8:54 Do not commit shirk with Allah on earth, nor disobey Him therein after Allah has reformed it,

9:02 by sending messengers as callers to the truth.

9:06 And dedicate your supplication and deeds sincerely to Him, fearing His punishment and hoping for His reward.

9:12 Indeed, the reward of Allah, which He has promised the righteous for their righteousness, is near to them.

9:18 “And He it is Who sendeth the winds as tidings heralding His mercy, till, when they bear a cloud heavy (with rain), We lead it to a dead land, and then cause water to descend thereon and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind. Thus bring We forth the dead. Haply ye may remember.” (7:57)

9:39 “And He it is Who sendeth the winds as tidings heralding His mercy, till, when they bear a cloud heavy (with rain), We lead it to a dead land, and then cause water to descend thereon and thereby bring forth fruits of every kind. Thus bring We forth the dead. Haply ye may remember.” (7:57)

10:02 It is He who sends the winds as heralds of rain before His mercy, until they carry heavy clouds.

10:09 Then, when they are heavy, Allah drives them to a dead land, sends down rain with them, and brings forth from it all kinds of fruits.

10:19 Just as We bring this dead land to life, so too shall We bring the dead out of their graves alive,

10:26 so that you may take heed and know that He who has such power can easily bring the dead to life after they have perished.

10:36 “As for the good land, its vegetation cometh forth by permission of its Lord; while as for that which is bad, only the useless cometh forth (from it). Thus do We recount the tokens for people who give thanks.” (7:58)

10:55 The good land, with its fertile soil, brings forth its vegetation by the permission of Allah, its fruit being good in its proper time and season.

11:05 But that which is bad, with its barren soil, brings forth nothing but with difficulty and scarcity; thus do We explain the signs, one after another,

11:15 and provide example after example for a people who thank Allah for His grace upon them through guidance and by showing them the path of those who are misguided.

11:26 This is a parable Allah has set for the believer and the disbeliever; the good land that brings forth its vegetation by the permission of its Lord is a parable for the believer,

11:36 and that which is bad, bringing forth nothing but with difficulty, is a parable for the disbeliever.

11:46 “We sent Noah (of old) unto his people, and he said: O my people! Serve Allah. Ye have no other Allah save Him. Lo! I fear for you the retribution of an Awful Day.” (7:59)

12:03 Our Lord swears that He sent Noah to his people, and he said to those among them who disbelieved, "O my people, worship Allah, to whom all worship is due,"

12:14 "for there is no deity for you who deserves your worship other than Him; for I fear for you, if you do not do so,"

12:23 "the punishment of a day in which your affliction will be great, as it comes to you with the wrath of your Lord."

12:30 “The chieftains of his people said: Lo! we see thee surely in plain error.” (7:60)

12:40 A group of men from Noah’s people said, "We see you, O Noah, in a state clearly deviated from the truth, the deviation of which is manifest to anyone who considers it."

12:53 He said, "O my people, it is not misguidance, but rather I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds."

13:04 Noah said, "O my people, I do not command you to believe in the oneness of Allah out of a deviation from the path of truth or a straying from the way of righteousness,"

13:15 "but I am a messenger to you from the Lord of the worlds, calling you to acknowledge His oneness and to disavow all rivals and deities."

13:25 “I convey unto you the messages of my Lord and give good counsel unto you, and know from Allah that which ye know not.” (7:62)

13:36 "He has sent me to you, so I convey to you the messages of my Lord and advise you, warning you of the punishment of Allah, and I know from Allah what you do not know,"

13:49 "which is that His punishment cannot be averted from the criminal people."

13:54 "Do you wonder that a reminder from your Lord has come to you through a man from among you, that he may warn you, that you may fear Allah, and that you may receive mercy?"

14:16 "Do you wonder that a reminder and admonition from Allah has come to you through a man from among you, that he may warn you of the might of Allah and frighten you with His punishment?"

14:27 "And so that you may fear the punishment and might of Allah, and so that your Lord may have mercy on you if you heed His warning."

14:34 “But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our tokens. Lo! they were blind folk.” (7:64)

14:56 The people of Noah denied and disobeyed the command of their Lord, so Allah saved him and those with him who believed in him in the Ark, and We drowned those who denied His proofs; they were indeed a people blind to the truth.
