0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:13 Surah Al-Baqarah
0:17 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23 And indeed Moses came to you with clear proofs, then you adopted the calf after him
0:33 Then you took to the calf after him, and you were wrongdoers
0:43 Moses came to you with evidence indicating his sincerity and the truth of his prophecy
0:49 Then you took the calf after Moses to it
0:53 And you are unjust by worshiping the calf and neglecting to worship God
0:59 And when We took your covenant and raised the Mount above you
1:04 Take firmly what We have given you and listen
1:16 They said, “We hear and we disobey,” and they drank the calf into their hearts because of their disbelief
1:24 Say: “Evil is what your faith commands you to do, if you are believers.”
1:35 And remember when we took your covenants
1:37 Take what We have given you of the Torah seriously and diligently
1:42 And listen to what I commanded you
1:44 And We raised the Mount above you for that reason
1:48 They said, “We heard your words and disobeyed your command.”
1:52 The love of the calf was poured into their hearts until it prevailed over it and mixed with their hearts
1:59 Tell them, O Muhammad, how evil is the thing that your faith commands you to do
2:04 If he commands you to kill God’s prophets and messengers and disbelieve in His books
2:10 If you believe in what God has revealed to you
2:22 Pure without people
2:27 Pure without people
2:31 Then wish for death if you are truthful
2:38 Say, O Muhammad, if the bliss of the Hereafter and its pleasure are yours, O community of Jews, in the sight of God and pure, to the exclusion of all other people
2:49 So wish for death if you are right in what you claim of faith and closeness to God
2:57 Because if you grant your wish of death, you will find comfort and success next to God
3:05 If you do not give it, people will know that you are the ones who are wrong
3:09 We are right in our claim, and our matter and your matter have been exposed
3:15 They will never wish for it because of what their hands have forwarded, and God is All-Knowing of the wrongdoers
3:29 The Jews will never wish to die
3:32 Because of their disbelief in God
3:35 In their violation of his command and obedience to follow Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
3:42 And their denial of his prophecy
3:44 And God has knowledge of the darkness of the children of Adam and what they do
3:49 You will find them to be the most eager for life among those who associate others with others
3:59 Someone wishes to live for a thousand years, but he will not be saved from the torment
4:09 And he cannot be saved from the torment that he will live forever
4:16 And God sees what they do
4:23 O Muhammad, you will find the Jews most keen on life in this world
4:30 They are also more cautious than the polytheists, one of whom wishes to live for a thousand years
4:37 What is the longevity and longevity that keeps him away from the punishment of God?
4:43 Because life must end and its fate is up to God
4:48 God is Ever-Seeing of what they do, and nothing of their deeds is hidden from Him
4:54 Rather, He encompasses all of them and has a guardian until He makes them taste punishment
5:01 Say: Whoever is an enemy of Gabriel has revealed it to your heart, God willing
5:12 For He revealed it to your heart, God willing, confirming what was before it and as guidance
5:22 Guidance and good news for believers
5:28 Say, O Muhammad, who among the people is an enemy to Gabriel?
5:33 He denied that he was the author of God’s revelation to His prophets
5:38 For I am Gabriel's friend and friend
5:41 He acknowledged that he was the author of revelation to his prophets and messengers
5:46 And he is the one who sends God's revelation to my heart, with the permission of my Lord
5:52 Confirming what God wrote before him
5:56 Agree with its meanings
5:59 It is evidence, proof, and good news that is given to believers
6:05 Whoever is an enemy of God, His angels, His messengers, Gabriel, and Michael, then God is an enemy of the unbelievers
6:23 Whoever opposes God and all His angels and messengers
6:27 Gabriel and Michael returned, for God is an enemy to the unbelievers
6:33 Because they are God's guardians and people who obey Him
6:37 And whoever returns to God as a guardian, then he has returned to God and will fight against him
6:43 The enemy of God is an enemy of His saints
6:47 The enemy of God's friends is his enemy
6:51 We have sent down to you clear verses
6:57 And none disbelieve in it except the transgressors
7:02 And We have sent down to you, in what We have revealed to you of the Book, clear signs
7:08 It became clear to the scholars of the children of Israel and their rabbis
7:12 Those who strive for Your prophecy and deny Your message
7:16 You are my messenger to them and a prophet who will be sent
7:21 No one denies these verses except those who leave their religion
7:26 Or every covenant they made was rejected by a group of them
7:34 But most of them do not believe
7:39 Or everything that the Jews of the Children of Israel made a covenant with their Lord and made a covenant with
7:46 One group of them left him and rejected him and not another group
7:50 But whoever contradicts that, most of them disbelieve in God because of the few of them
7:58 And when a messenger from God came to them, confirming what they had
8:09 Confirming what they have. A group of those who were given the Book abandoned the Book of God behind their backs
8:20 A group of those who were given the Book rejected the Book of God behind their backs as if they did not know
8:33 When the Jewish rabbis and scholars from the Children of Israel came to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
8:41 He believes the Torah and the Torah believes him
8:45 In that God has a prophet sent to His creation
8:49 The Jewish scholars who God gave them knowledge of the Torah denied
8:54 And they put it behind their backs
8:57 As if those who rejected the Book of God were Jewish scholars
9:02 They do not know what is in the Torah regarding the command to follow Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and believe him
9:10 And they followed what the devils inflicted on the king of Solomon
9:16 Solomon did not disbelieve, but the devils disbelieved, teaching people magic
9:27 They teach people magic and what was revealed to the two angels in Babylon, Harut and Marut
9:37 They did not teach anyone until he had said, “We are only a test, so do not disbelieve.”
9:46 They learn from them what distinguishes between a man and his wife
9:54 They are not harmed by anyone except with God’s permission
10:04 They learn what harms them and does not benefit them
10:10 And they knew that whoever bought it would have no share in the afterlife
10:17 Evil is what they sold themselves for, if they only knew
10:26 A group of Jewish rabbis and scholars followed the magic that the devils recited during the reign of Solomon
10:34 They attributed him to Suleiman bin David
10:38 They claimed that magic was his knowledge and narration
10:41 He only enslaved humans, jinn, devils, and the rest of God’s creation with magic
10:49 And when Solomon disbelieves, he works magic
10:52 It was not from his advice nor from his consent
10:56 But it is something that the devils created instead of him, so they disbelieved in God
11:02 The Jews followed the magic that was sent down on the two kings to a village called Babylon
11:08 The two kings are Harut and Marut
11:11 They are two of God's angels
11:14 He made them a trial for His servants among the sons of Adam
11:18 To test His servants with them, whom He forbade from separating a man from his wife, and from witchcraft
11:25 The believer is tested by abandoning learning from them
11:29 The infidel is disgraced by learning magic and disbelief from them
11:34 The two angels did not inform anyone of the people until they told him
11:39 We are a test and a test for human beings
11:43 Do not disbelieve in your Lord
11:45 They refuse to accept that from them
11:48 They learn from the two kings how to differentiate between a man and his wife
11:53 What do they learn from the two kings by which they can differentiate between a man and his wife?
11:59 Harmful with what they learned from someone
12:03 Except for those whom God has decreed that this will harm him
12:08 As for the one from whom God will protect him from harm and protect him from the harm of magic
12:13 This is not harmful or beneficial
12:18 And the people who learn from the two kings
12:21 They only learn what harms them in their religion
12:25 It will not benefit them in their time
12:28 The rejected People of the Book taught my book behind their backs
12:33 Those who influence him are followers of magic
12:36 For whoever buys magic, prefer it to the book you revealed
12:41 He will not have any share of Paradise in the afterlife
12:45 How miserable he sold himself for by learning magic
12:49 If only they knew his bad outcome
12:53 Had they believed and feared, the reward from God would have been better
13:02 If only they knew
13:07 Even if those who learn from the two kings have what they can do between a man and his wife
13:14 They believed and believed in God and His Messenger
13:17 And they feared their Lord, so they feared His punishment
13:20 God's reward would be better for them than magic
13:24 If they knew that God's reward is better for them
13:28 O you who have believed, do not say, “Ra’na,” but say, “Look, ‘We are,’” and listen
13:37 And for the disbelievers is a painful punishment
13:42 O you who have believed, do not say, “Ra’ana.”
13:47 Because of the possibility that its meaning is: “Save us, we will protect you, we will watch over you, and we will watch over you.”
13:54 It may mean that we have lost your hearing
13:58 It contains harshness, frowning, vulgarity, and rudeness
14:03 This contradicts the command to reverence and glorify his Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
14:09 And say, O believers, to your Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
14:14 We waited and watched to understand and discover what you were telling us and teaching us
14:20 And listen to what is said to you and recited to you from the Book of your Lord, and understand it
14:27 And for those who disbelieve in Me and in My Messenger is a painful punishment
14:32 Neither the disbelievers from the People of the Book nor the polytheists would like it
14:38 If goodness is sent down to you from your Lord
14:49 And God singles out for His mercy whomever He wishes
14:55 God is of great bounty
15:00 What the unbelievers love among the People of the Book
15:03 Nor are the polytheists of God among idol worshipers
15:06 May the goodness that was with God be sent down to you
15:11 God selects whomever He wishes with His prophecy and message
15:15 He sends it to whomever He wishes from among His creation
15:18 So he bestows faith on the one he loves and gives it to him
15:23 God is the Possessor of great bounty for His creation
15:28 And every good thing God has for His servants
15:30 For it is from Him as a beginning and as a favor from Him to them
15:34 They don't deserve it
