0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:14 Surah Al-Zukhruf
0:18 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:23 And when Ibn Maryam gave an example, behold, your people turn away from him
0:31 When God likened Jesus in his creation and creation to Adam
0:37 His example is that he created him from dust
0:41 So, O Muhammad, your people are getting uproarious over this
0:44 They say that Muhammad only wants us to take him as a god to worship
0:51 The Christians also worshiped Christ
0:55 They said: Are our gods better or are they?
0:59 They only hit you in an argument
1:03 Rather, they are adversarial people
1:07 He is nothing but a servant upon whom We have bestowed blessings and made him an example to the Children of Israel
1:17 The polytheist of your people said
1:20 O Muhammad, our gods that we worship are better
1:23 Mother of Muhammad, so we worship Muhammad
1:27 What is this proverb to you, Muhammad?
1:30 They did not tell you this
1:32 Except for arguments and disputes that they wage against you
1:36 What is wrong with your people, O Muhammad, these polytheists, who argue with you about seeking the truth?
1:43 Rather, they are people who seek dispute falsely
1:47 Jesus is only one of our servants
1:51 We blessed him with success and faith
1:54 We made it a sign for the children of Israel and a proof for us against them
2:01 Had We willed, We could have made angels among you on earth as successors
2:13 If we wanted, people of Adam, we could have destroyed you
2:17 And We have placed angels in your place on earth who will succeed you therein and worship Me
2:24 Indeed, it is knowledge of the Hour, so do not dispute it, but follow it
2:33 This is a straight path
2:38 And do not be deterred by Satan
2:43 He is your clear enemy
2:50 And if its appearance is unlikely, there is knowledge by which the coming of the Hour will be known
2:55 Because its descent is evidence of the annihilation of the world
2:59 And it was said
3:00 Indeed, this Qur’an is a knowledge for the Hour
3:03 He informs you of its occurrence and tells you about its horrors
3:07 Do not doubt it and obey
3:11 So your followers of me, O people, in my matter are in the way of disobedience
3:16 And Satan will not stop you from obeying me
3:20 Satan is an open enemy to you, and he has made his enmity clear to you
3:26 And when Jesus came with clear proofs, he said:
3:32 I have come to you with wisdom
3:35 He said, “I have come to you with wisdom.”
3:38 And I will show you some of what you differ about
3:44 So fear God and obey
3:49 And when Jesus brought to the children of Israel clear evidence
3:54 He said: I have come to you with prophecy
3:57 And I will show you the people of Israel
4:00 Some of the provisions of the Torah about which you differ
4:04 So fear your Lord, O people, by obeying Him
4:08 And obey me in what I command you to do
4:12 God is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him
4:19 This is a straight path
4:24 It is God who requires us to single him out as divinity
4:29 My Lord and your Lord all
4:31 So worship Him alone
4:33 This is what I commanded you to do out of fear of God and obedience to me
4:38 It is the straight path that does not accept anything else
4:43 The parties differed among them
4:47 So woe to those who wronged from the torment of a painful day
4:55 There was disagreement about the separation regarding Isa bin Maryam
4:58 They are the Jews and Christians
5:00 Who among the Christians disagreed about Jesus?
5:03 Because they were all parties
5:07 The liquid valley of pus and pus in Hell is for those who disbelieve in God
5:12 In the agony of a painful day
5:16 Do they only wait for the Hour to come upon them suddenly while they do not perceive?
5:27 Do these different parties consider Jesus bin Maryam?
5:31 Except for the hour when the Resurrection suddenly occurs
5:36 They do not know it is coming
5:39 On that day, morals will be enemies to one another except the righteous
5:50 O servants, there is no fear for you today, nor will you grieve
6:00 Those who pretend on the Day of Resurrection to commit sins against God in this world
6:05 They are enemies to each other
6:07 They disavow each other
6:10 Except for those who conceited therein to fear God
6:14 God tells them
6:17 O My servants, you have no fear today of My punishment
6:21 For I have trusted you with My pleasure
6:24 Nor do you grieve over the loss of this world
6:28 What you offered is better for you
6:33 Those who believed in Our signs and were Muslims
6:39 Enter Paradise, you and your wives, and you will be blessed
6:49 O My servants who believed in the Book of God and His Messengers
6:53 They were people who submitted to God in their hearts
6:57 Enter Paradise, you believers and your wives
7:01 Blessed and rejoicing in the honor of God
7:06 They are paraded with golden plates and cups
7:15 It contains what the soul desires and what pleases the eyes
7:21 And you will abide therein forever
7:28 Those who believe in His signs will be circumambulated
7:32 With food on a golden plate
7:35 And by drinking in golden cups
7:38 In Paradise, you will have whatever your souls desire, O believers
7:42 And your eyes will delight while you abide therein
7:48 And that is Paradise which you were given as an inheritance because of what you did
7:56 You will have plenty of fruit therein, of which you will eat
8:05 This is the Paradise that God has given you from the people of Hell
8:10 Because of the good deeds you did in this world
8:13 You will find therein abundant fruit of every kind
8:17 You may eat from it whatever you desire
8:21 Criminals will remain in the torment of Hell forever
8:29 It will not let up on them while they are lost in it
8:34 We did not wrong them, but they were the wrongdoers
8:42 The criminals who committed disbelief in God
8:46 They will remain in the torment of Hell
8:49 The torment will not be alleviated for them
8:51 They are in the torment of Hell with a hope of salvation
8:56 These criminals did not wrong us
8:59 But they were the wrongdoers because of their disbelief in God and their denial of His monotheism
9:06 And they called out, “O Malik, may your Lord destroy us.”
9:11 He said you are staying
9:18 He called out these criminals after God brought them into Hell
9:24 They said: O Malik, may your Lord curse us
9:27 He mentioned that Malik did not answer them at the time they told him that
9:32 And he leaves them for a thousand years
9:35 Then he answers them and tells them that you will stay
9:41 We have brought you the truth
9:44 But most of you hate the truth
9:51 We have sent to you our Messenger Muhammad with the truth
9:55 But most of you hate the truth that Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, brought
10:03 Or have they concluded a matter, then we have concluded it
10:10 Or do they think that we do not hear their secrets and secrets?
10:17 Yes, and Our messengers write to them
10:24 Or did these polytheists from Quraish conclude a matter and act?
10:29 They are plotting the truth with which We have brought them
10:32 We will judge for them what will disgrace them
10:36 Or do these polytheists think that we do not hear what they have hidden from the people of their logic?
10:42 They consulted among themselves and talked about it to the exclusion of others
10:46 We do not punish them for hiding it from us
10:50 Rather, we know what they talked about
10:53 And we kept them writing down the logic they uttered
11:02 Say, O Muhammad, if the Most Merciful has a son, then I will be the first of My worshippers
11:09 But he has no son
11:11 I worship him because he has no children
11:15 And he shouldn't have
11:17 Glory be to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe
11:25 Glory be to the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe
11:32 In honor of the Owner of the heavens and the earth
11:36 And the owner of the throne surrounding all of that
11:40 What the polytheists describe as lying
11:43 They add to it the boy and other things
11:48 Which should not be added to it
11:51 So leave them to wander and play until they meet the day they are promised
12:00 So, O Muhammad, leave these slanderers against God to indulge in their falsehood and play in their worldly affairs
12:08 Until they meet their day which they are promised
12:11 It is the Day of Resurrection
12:14 He is the one who is God in heaven and God on earth
12:22 He is the Wise, the All-Knowing
12:26 And God, who has divinity, is worshiped in heaven and worshiped on earth
12:33 So they singled out worship for the one whose quality is this
12:36 He is the Wise in managing His creation, the One who knows their interests
12:42 Blessed is He to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and with Him is the knowledge of the Hour
12:52 With Him is knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you will be returned
13:02 Blessed be He who has authority over the seven heavens and the earth and all things between them
13:11 And with Him is knowledge of the hour in which the Resurrection will take place
13:15 And to Him, O people, you will be returned after your death
13:19 He rewards the doer of good with his good deeds and the wrongdoer with his evil
13:25 Those whom they call upon other than Him have no right to intercession except those who testify to the truth
13:35 Except those who bear witness to the truth and they know
13:42 Those whom the polytheists worship instead of God do not have the right to intercede with Him for anyone
13:49 Except for those who bear witness to the truth by affirming the monotheism of God
13:54 And those who bear witness to the truth
13:57 Knowing and certain of this that they have the right to intercede with His permission
14:04 And if you ask them who created them, they will say, “God,” then they will deceive me
14:18 And if you ask, O Muhammad, who created these polytheists?
14:23 To say that God created us, then they are distracted from worshiping the One who created them
14:31 And he said, “O Lord, these are people who do not believe.”
14:41 Muhammad said, “O Lord, these people whom you commanded me to warn are people who do not believe.”
14:50 So forgive them and say peace, for they will know
15:01 So forgive them, O Muhammad, and say to them, “Peace be upon you.”
15:06 They will know what calamity, punishment, and torment they will face for their disbelief
