0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:21 “All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifieth Allah; and He is the Mighty, the Wise.” (57:1)

0:25 He is the Almighty, the All-Wise.

0:30 Everything beneath Him among His creation glorifies Him, in veneration of Him,

0:34 In acknowledgment of His Lordship, and in submission to His obedience.

0:38 He is the Almighty in His retribution against those who disobey Him,

0:41 The All-Wise in His management of their affairs,

0:44 And in His directing them as He wills.

0:47 To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth.

0:52 He gives life and causes death,

0:55 And He is capable of all things.

1:00 To Him belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and all that is within them.

1:04 He gives life to whom He wills of the creation by bringing them into existence as He wills,

1:09 And He causes death to whom He wills among the living.

1:12 He is possessor of power over all things;

1:15 Nothing is impossible for Him that He desires, whether it be giving life, causing death,

1:19 Or other matters.

1:23 “He is the First and the Last, and the Outward and the Inward; and He is Knower of all things.” (57:3)

1:28 And He is All-Knowing of all things.

1:33 He is the First, before everything, without limit,

1:36 And the Last, after everything, without end.

1:40 He is the Manifest, above everything beneath Him,

1:43 And He is the Most High, above everything,

1:46 So there is nothing higher than Him.

1:48 And He is the Hidden, encompassing all things,

1:51 So there is nothing closer to anything than He is.

1:54 He is All-Knowing of all things; nothing is hidden from Him.

1:59 It is He who created the heavens and the earth

2:04 In six days,

2:07 Then He rose over the Throne.

2:11 He knows what penetrates into the earth

2:14 And what emerges from it,

2:18 And what descends from the heaven,

2:22 And what ascends therein.

2:25 And He is with you wherever you are,

2:29 And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.

2:34 He is the One who originated the seven heavens and the earths,

2:38 So He managed them and all that is within them,

2:41 Then He rose over His Throne,

2:44 Exalted above it and over all things.

2:47 He knows what enters the earth of His creation,

2:50 And what emerges from it,

2:53 And what descends from the heaven to the earth, of anything whatsoever.

2:56 And Allah is aware of it, from the earth.

2:59 He is a witness over you, O people, wherever you are;

3:02 He knows you and knows your deeds.

3:05 And Allah, regarding the deeds you perform,

3:08 Whether good or evil, obedience or disobedience,

3:11 Is All-Seeing;

3:14 He keeps account of them so that He may recompense the doer of good among you

3:17 For his goodness, and the evildoer for his evil.

3:21 To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth,

3:24 And to Allah all matters return.

3:27 He causes the night to enter the day,

3:30 And He causes the day to enter the night.

3:33 “He causeth the night to pass into the day, and He causeth the day to pass into the night, and He is knower of all that is in the breasts.” (57:6)

3:36 “He causeth the night to pass into the day, and He causeth the day to pass into the night, and He is knower of all that is in the breasts.” (57:6)

3:39 To Him belongs the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth,

3:42 And His command is effective over all of them,

3:46 And over all that is within them.

3:49 And to Allah is the final destination of the affairs of all His creation,

3:52 So He will judge between them by His decree.

3:55 He takes what is diminished from the hours of the night

3:58 And adds it to the day, making it an increase in its hours,

4:01 And He takes what is diminished from the hours of the day

4:04 And adds it to the night, making it an increase

4:07 In the hours of the night.

4:10 He is All-Knowing of the innermost thoughts of His servants’ hearts,

4:13 And what their souls have resolved upon,

4:16 Whether of good or evil,

4:19 And nothing of that is hidden from Him.

4:24 Believe in Allah and His Messenger,

4:27 And spend out of that

4:30 In which He has made you successors.

4:33 For those who have believed

4:36 Among you and spent,

4:39 There is a great reward.

4:42 Believe in Allah,

4:45 O people,

4:49 And spend from your wealth,

4:52 For His Messenger, Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

4:56 So believe him in what he has brought to you,

4:59 And follow him.

5:02 And spend from that which Allah has entrusted to you

5:05 Of the wealth He has caused you to inherit

5:08 From those who were before you,

5:11 Making you their successors in the cause of Allah.

5:14 For those who have believed in Allah,

5:18 “What aileth you that ye believe not in Allah, when the messenger calleth you to believe in your Lord, and He hath already made a covenant with you, if ye are believers?” (57:8)

5:24 “What aileth you that ye believe not in Allah, when the messenger calleth you to believe in your Lord, and He hath already made a covenant with you, if ye are believers?” (57:8)

5:28 “What aileth you that ye believe not in Allah, when the messenger calleth you to believe in your Lord, and He hath already made a covenant with you, if ye are believers?” (57:8)

5:35 What is the matter with you, O people, that you do not acknowledge the oneness of Allah,

5:41 While His Messenger, Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, calls you to acknowledge His oneness?

5:47 He has brought you proofs of the truth of that which have left you with no excuse,

5:53 And have removed doubt from your hearts.

5:55 Your Lord has already taken your covenant from you in the loins of Adam,

6:00 That Allah is your Lord; there is no god for you other than Him.

6:03 If you desire to believe in Allah one day,

6:08 Then now is the most appropriate time to believe,

6:11 Due to the succession of proofs brought to you by the Messenger and his proclamation.

6:15 “He it is Who sendeth down clear revelations unto His slave, that He may bring you forth from darkness unto light; and lo! for you, Allah is Full of Pity, Merciful.” (57:9)

6:23 To bring you out from darkness into the light.

6:33 “He it is Who sendeth down clear revelations unto His slave, that He may bring you forth from darkness unto light; and lo! for you, Allah is Full of Pity, Merciful.” (57:9)

6:39 Allah is the One who sends down upon His servant, Muhammad, clear verses,

6:45 To bring you, O people, out of the darkness of disbelief into the light of faith.

6:50 Indeed, Allah, by sending down clear verses upon His servant,

6:54 Is full of kindness and mercy to you.

6:57 It is out of His kindness and mercy to you that He does so.

7:01 “And what aileth you that ye spend not in the way of Allah when unto Allah belongeth the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent and fought before the victory are not upon a level (with the rest of you). Such are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. Unto each hath Allah promised good. And Allah is Informed of what ye do.” (57:10)

7:07 And to Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth.

7:11 “And what aileth you that ye spend not in the way of Allah when unto Allah belongeth the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? Those who spent and fought before the victory are not upon a level (with the rest of you). Such are greater in rank than those who spent and fought afterwards. Unto each hath Allah promised good. And Allah is Informed of what ye do.” (57:10)

7:20 “And what aileth you that ye spend not in the way of Allah when unto Allah belongeth the inheritance of the heavens and the earth? 7:30 And to all, Allah has promised the best.

7:35 And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.

7:41 What is the matter with you, O people, that you do not spend in the cause of Allah,

7:48 When to Allah will return your wealth if you do not spend it,

7:52 Because to Him belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth?

7:55 Not equal among you, O people, are those who spent in the cause of Allah before the conquest of al-Hudaybiyyah;

8:02 Those who spent in the cause of Allah before the conquest of al-Hudaybiyyah

8:07 And fought the polytheists

8:09 Are greater in rank before Allah than those who spent and fought after that.

8:16 Yet to all of those who spent before the conquest and fought,

8:21 And those who spent after and fought,

8:24 Allah has promised the best—Paradise—

8:26 For their spending in His cause and their fighting His enemies.

8:30 And Allah, regarding what you do of spending in the cause of Allah and fighting His enemies,

8:36 And other deeds you perform,

8:39 Is All-Aware; nothing of it is hidden from Him.

8:43 He will recompense you for all of that on the Day of Resurrection.

8:47 Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan?

8:53 “Who is he that will lend unto Allah a goodly loan, that He may double it for him and his may be a rich reward?” (57:11)

9:02 Who is this who spends in the cause of Allah in this world,

9:07 Seeking reward for his spending, desiring what is with Allah?

9:11 So his Lord will multiply his loan for him,

9:14 Making for him, for the one, seven hundred,

9:17 And for him is a noble reward and recompense,

9:20 Which is Paradise.

9:24 “On the day when thou (Muhammad) wilt see the believers, men and women, their light shining forth before them and on their right hands, (and wilt hear it said unto them): Glad news for you this day: Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein ye are immortal. That is the supreme triumph.” (57:12)

9:29 Before them and on their right hands.

9:33 “On the day when thou (Muhammad) wilt see the believers, men and women, their light shining forth before them and on their right hands, (and wilt hear it said unto them): Glad news for you this day: Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein ye are immortal. That is the supreme triumph.” (57:12)

9:45 Abiding therein forever.

9:47 That is the great success.

9:53 On the day you see the believing men and believing women, their light proceeding

9:57 As the reward for their faith and their righteous deeds, before them,

10:01 And on their right hands, their records of deeds flying.

10:05 It is said to them:

10:07 "Your good tidings this day, O believers, which you are promised,

10:11 Are gardens beneath which rivers flow,

10:15 Abiding in the gardens, not moving from them nor changing."

10:20 And their eternity in the gardens is the great achievement.

10:24 “On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say unto those who believe: Look on us that we may borrow from your light! it will be said: Go back and seek for light! Then there will separate them a wall wherein is a gate, the inner side whereof containeth mercy, while the outer side thereof is toward the doom.” (57:13)

10:32 "Wait for us, that we may borrow from your light."

10:39 “On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say unto those who believe: Look on us that we may borrow from your light! it will be said: Go back and seek for light! Then there will separate them a wall wherein is a gate, the inner side whereof containeth mercy, while the outer side thereof is toward the doom.” (57:13)

10:47 “On the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say unto those who believe: Look on us that we may borrow from your light! it will be said: Go back and seek for light! 11:10 "Wait for us, that we may obtain light from your light."

11:13 They are answered by being told:

11:16 "Return to where you came from and seek light for yourselves there,

11:22 For there is no way for you to obtain from our light."

11:26 So Allah will set up between the believers and the hypocrites a barrier, between the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire.

11:33 And that wall will have a gate; within it is mercy,

11:37 And on its outside, before that, is the Fire.

11:41 They will call to them, "Were we not with you?"

11:47 They will say, "Yes, but you tempted yourselves, awaited misfortune, and doubted,

11:59 “They will cry unto them (saying): Were we not with you? They will say: Yea, verily; but ye tempted one another, and hesitated, and doubted, and vain desires beguiled you till the ordinance of Allah came to pass; and the deceiver deceived you concerning Allah;” (57:14)

12:11 And the delusion deceived you regarding Allah."

12:15 The hypocrites will call to the believers when the wall is set between them:

12:20 "Were we not with you in the world, praying and fasting,

12:24 And intermarrying with you and inheriting from you?"

12:27 The believers will say, "Yes, but you tempted yourselves, so you became hypocrites,

12:33 You hesitated in faith, and you resisted the acknowledgment of Allah and His Messenger,

12:38 And you doubted the oneness of Allah and the prophethood of Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him,

12:44 And the desires of your souls deceived you, so they turned you away from the path of Allah and led you astray,

12:50 Until the decree of Allah came with your deaths and swept you away,

12:55 And the deceiver deceived you regarding Allah."

12:58 He tempted you with salvation from His punishment and safety from His torment.

13:03 So today, no ransom will be taken from you, nor from those who disbelieved; your refuge is the Fire.

13:16 “So this day no ransom can be taken from you nor from those who disbelieved. Your home is the Fire; that is your patron, and a hapless journey's end.” (57:15)

13:22 So today, O hypocrites,

13:26 No compensation or substitute will be taken from you for your punishment and torment,

13:31 To save you from the torment of Allah.

13:33 Nor will ransom be taken from those who disbelieved.

13:37 Your abode and dwelling place, which you will inhabit on the Day of Resurrection, is the Fire.

13:42 The Fire is more appropriate for you, and what an evil destination is the Fire.
