0:17 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:22 “Enjoin ye righteousness upon mankind while ye yourselves forget (to practise it)? And ye are readers of the Scripture! Have ye then no sense?” (2:44)

3:00 “And (remember) when We did deliver you from Pharaoh's folk, who were afflicting you with dreadful torment, slaying your sons and sparing your women: that was a tremendous trial from your Lord.” (2:49)

3:31 And remember when We saved you from the people of Pharaoh, who used to inflict upon you the worst of torments, slaughtering your sons and sparing your young daughters—and they were not killed.

3:46 In what We did for you by saving you from the torment you were suffering under the people of Pharaoh, there is a great blessing.

3:55 “And when We brought you through the sea and rescued you, and drowned the folk of Pharaoh in your sight.” (2:50)

4:07 And remember when We parted the sea for you, as you watched Allah divide the sea for you and destroy the people of Pharaoh.

4:18 “And when We did appoint for Moses forty nights (of solitude), and then ye chose the calf, when he had gone from you, and were wrong-doers.” (2:51)

4:37 The meaning is that Allah the Exalted appointed a time for Musa (peace be upon him) to meet at the Mount for forty full nights of communion.

4:46 Then, during the days of Musa’s appointment, you took the calf for worship, acting unjustly and placing worship where it did not belong.

4:56 “Then, even after that, We pardoned you in order that ye might give thanks.” (2:52)

5:06 Then We refrained from hastening your punishment after you took the calf, so that you might be grateful for My pardon toward you.

5:16 For pardon necessitates gratitude from those of intellect and reason.

5:21 “And when We gave unto Moses the Scripture and the criterion (of right and wrong), that ye might be led aright.” (2:53)

5:29 And remember also when We gave Musa the Torah, which We wrote for him on the tablets, and by which We distinguished between truth and falsehood,

5:40 so that you might be guided by it and follow the truth contained within it, for I made it a guidance.

5:47 “And when Moses said unto his people: O my people! Ye have wronged yourselves by your choosing of the calf (for worship) so turn in penitence to your Creator, and kill (the guilty) yourselves. That will be best for you with your Creator and He will relent toward you. Lo! He is the Relenting, the Merciful.” (2:54)

6:16 And remember also when Musa said to his people among the Children of Israel:

6:21 "O my people, you have done to yourselves that which makes you deserving of punishment from Allah the Exalted,

6:28 by your apostasy in taking the calf as a lord; so repent to your Creator for your apostasy, and your repentance is by killing your own selves."

6:39 And your obedience to your Lord is better for you in the sight of your Creator, for you will thereby be saved from the punishment of Allah and deserve His reward.

6:49 Indeed, He is the One who returns to those who repent with pardon, and who turns to them with the mercy that saves them from His punishment.

6:58 “And when ye said: O Moses! We will not believe in thee till we see Allah plainly; and even while ye gazed the lightning seized you.” (2:55)

7:16 And remember when you said, "O Musa, we will not believe you and will not acknowledge what you have brought us until we see Allah openly," by removing the veil between us and Him,

7:29 "and look at Him with our own eyes." Then the thunderbolt seized you—which is every terrifying event, whether it be a sound, fire, earthquake, or tremor.

7:41 It seized you openly and clearly while you were looking at it.

7:56 Then We brought you back to life after your death by the thunderbolt that destroyed you, so that you might be grateful for the favor I bestowed upon you.

8:11 And We provided you with manna and quails. Eat from the good things We have provided you, and they did not wrong Us, but they were wronging their own selves.

8:27 Then We resurrected you after your death and shaded you with what covers the sky, clothing it with clouds and shade.

8:38 And We sent down to you honey and the quail bird, which is a bird resembling a quail.

8:45 And We said to you, "Eat from the desirable provisions We have provided you."

8:51 But they disobeyed what We commanded them and rebelled against their Lord and then against His messenger to them.

8:58 They did not place their actions and disobedience in a position of harm or deficiency to Us,

9:04 but they placed themselves in a position of harm and deficiency.

9:10 “And when We said: Go into this township and eat freely of that which is therein, and enter the gate prostrate, and say: "Repentance." We will forgive you your sins and will increase (reward) for the right-doers.” (2:58)

9:18 "Eat from it wherever you wish in abundance, and enter the gate bowing, and say, 'Hittah' (Relieve us of our sins)."

9:27 And say, "Hittah," and We will forgive your sins, and We will increase the doers of good.

9:37 And when We said, "Enter Jerusalem, and eat from it wherever you wish, a pleasant and abundant life without measure."

9:46 And enter the gate of Hittah of Jerusalem bowing, and say, "Our entry is in submission, seeking the removal of our sins."

9:56 We will cover your sins with mercy and conceal them from you, so We will not expose you to punishment for them.

10:04 And We will increase the doers of good among you in goodness.

10:09 “But those who did wrong changed the word which had been told them for another saying, and We sent down upon the evil-doers wrath from heaven for their evil-doing.” (2:59)

10:31 But those who did wrong changed the words to something other than what they were commanded to say, so they said something else; they did not say "Hittah," but rather they altered it and said "Habbah" (a grain).

10:44 So We sent down upon those who did wrong a punishment from the sky because they used to abandon the obedience of Allah for His disobedience and opposition to His command.
