0:00 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:05 Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08 It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:14 Surat Al-Raad
0:18 In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:24 Like the paradise promised to the righteous
0:30 Rivers flow beneath it
0:36 Its constant food and shade
0:42 That is the afterlife of those who feared
0:45 And after the disbelievers is Hell
0:52 The description of Paradise promised to the righteous
0:56 Rivers flow beneath it
0:58 What is eaten there is permanent for its people
1:02 Its shadow is also permanent
1:04 Because there is no sun in it
1:07 This Paradise is the end for those who fear God
1:11 So they avoided his sins and performed his duties
1:14 The end of the disbelievers in God is Hell
1:19 Those to whom We have given the Book rejoice in what has been revealed to you
1:27 Among the parties are those who deny some of them
1:32 Say, “I have only been commanded to worship God and not to associate partners with Him.”
1:39 To Him I call and to Him I return
1:46 And those to whom We sent down the Book are those who believe in you and follow you, O Muhammad
1:52 They rejoice in what was revealed to you
1:55 And from the people of religion who are partisan against you
1:58 Who denies some of what has been revealed to you?
2:01 So tell them
2:02 I was commanded, O people
2:05 To worship God alone and no one else
2:08 And I do not associate him with it
2:10 I invite people to obey Him and sincerely worship Him
2:14 And here is my fate
2:18 Likewise, We revealed it as an Arabic ruling
2:23 And if you follow their desires after the knowledge that has come to you
2:31 You have no guardian from God
2:35 Who has no guardian or protector?
2:42 And just as We revealed the Book to you, O Muhammad, some of the parties denied it
2:48 Thus also We sent down judgment and religion
2:51 Arab referee
2:53 And make it Arabic
2:56 Because it was revealed to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he is an Arab
3:02 O Muhammad, if you follow the whims, satisfaction, and love of these parties
3:08 You have no one to protect you from the punishment of God, no helper to help you
3:12 He will save you from God if He punishes you
3:17 We have sent messengers before you
3:22 And We made for them wives and offspring
3:27 It was not for a Messenger to bring a sign except with God’s permission
3:35 For every term there is a book
3:42 O Muhammad, We sent messengers before you to nations that had passed away before your nation
3:48 So We made them human beings like you
3:51 They have husbands who marry
3:53 And their descendants
3:56 We did not make them angels who do not eat, drink, or marry
4:02 And no Messenger sent by God to His creation can
4:06 To bring to his nation a sign and a sign except by the command of God
4:11 For every matter that God has decreed, there is a book that He has written and it is with Him
4:18 God erases whatever He wants and confirms
4:22 He has the Mother of the Book
4:53 Either We will show you some of those he counted, or We will cause you to die, for you only have to deliver the message
5:06 And we have to reckon
5:13 And we have to reckon
5:17 And we have to reckon
5:25 Or we will show you, O Muhammad, some of those who are enemies of these polytheists in your life
5:33 Of punishment for their disbelief
5:36 Or we will kill you before we show you that
5:39 You have to convey his message to them
5:43 We must hold them accountable
5:45 He rewards them for their deeds
5:48 If good, then good
5:50 If evil, evil
5:53 Have they not seen that We come to the earth, diminishing it from its outskirts?
6:01 God judges and there is no one to follow his judgment
6:05 He is quick to calculate
6:09 Haven't these polytheists who ask Muhammad seen the signs?
6:15 We bring Earth
6:17 So we will open it to him, land after land, around their land
6:22 Are they not afraid that we will conquer their land for him as we conquered others for him?
6:27 It is God who rules and implements His ruling
6:31 God is quick to calculate
6:34 He counts the deeds of these polytheists
6:37 Nothing is hidden from him
6:39 And he is the one behind their punishment for it
6:43 Those before them plotted, so all plotting belongs to Allah
6:51 He knows what every soul gains
6:54 And the infidels will know to whom the punishment of the abode belongs
7:01 Those before these polytheists from the nations of the past plotted
7:06 God has all the causes of deception
7:09 And with his hand and to him
7:12 The cunning people were not harmed by their cunning
7:14 Except for whom God wishes that this would harm him
7:18 But they harmed themselves
7:20 Because they displeased their Lord with this against themselves
7:25 Your Lord knows, O Muhammad, what these polytheists do
7:30 He knows all the works of all creation
7:33 And they will know when they come before their Lord on the Day of Resurrection
7:38 To whom is the end of the Hereafter?
7:41 And those who disbelieve say, “I am not a messenger.”
7:46 Say: God is sufficient as a witness between me and you
7:51 And he who has knowledge of the Book
7:58 And those of your people who disbelieved in God say, “O Muhammad.”
8:03 I am not a missionary
8:04 Because of their denial of you
8:07 Say: God is sufficient for me as a witness to me and to you
8:11 And those who have knowledge of the books that were revealed before the Qur’an
8:16 Such as the Torah and the Gospel
