Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
0:08
It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari
0:12
Surat Al-Dhariyat
0:18
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
0:22
He said: What is the matter with you, O messengers?
0:28
They said: We were sent to a criminal people
0:35
Let us send stones of clay upon them
0:40
Marked before your Lord for the transgressors
0:46
Ibrahim said to his guest
0:49
What is the matter with you, O messengers?
0:52
They said: We were sent to a people who had committed crimes because of their disbelief in God
0:57
Let us rain down stones of clay on them from the sky
1:01
A landmark of stones for your Lord, O Abraham
1:05
For those who transgress God's limits
1:08
So we brought out those of the believers who were there
1:14
We found there nothing but a house of Muslims
1:21
And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment
1:29
So we brought out those who were in the village of Lot's people
1:32
People of faith in God
1:34
They are Lot and his daughters
1:36
We found nothing in that village except a house of Muslims
1:41
It is Lot's house
1:43
We left this village as an example
1:46
And a sign for those who fear God’s painful punishment in the Hereafter
1:51
And regarding Moses, when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority
2:00
So he took his stand and said, “A magician or a madman.”
2:05
So we seized him and his soldiers and threw them into the sea
2:11
And he is a pity
2:13
And in Musa bin Imran
2:17
When We sent him to Pharaoh with a pretext, it became clear to those who saw it that it was a proof for Moses of the truth of what he was calling for
2:26
So Pharaoh took care of his people, including his soldiers and companions
2:30
And he said to Moses
2:32
He is a magician who enchants people's eyes or is crazy with madness
2:37
So Pharaoh and his soldiers became angry and sad with us
2:42
So we threw them into the sea and drowned them in it
2:46
Pharaoh has done what he is blamed for doing
2:51
And in Ad, when We sent upon them the destructive wind
2:57
She does not leave anything that she has acquired except that she makes it as a restoration
3:05
And in Aad also, what we did to them is a sign and a lesson for them
3:11
When We sent upon them the barren wind that does not pollinate trees
3:16
She does not leave anything that she has acquired except that she makes it as a restoration
3:20
Which withers from the plants of the earth and is desiccated
3:25
And in Thamud, when they were told, “Enjoy for a while.”
3:32
So they disobeyed the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt took them while they were watching
3:40
They were unable to stand up and were not victorious
3:49
And in Thamud there is also a lesson for them, when their Lord said to them, “Enjoy for a while.”
3:56
So they became arrogant and arrogant in their obedience to God
4:00
Then a lightning bolt of torment suddenly struck them while they were waiting for it to come upon them
4:06
This is because Thamud promised torment three days before it descended upon them
4:12
They were unable to defend themselves against the punishment of God that befell them
4:17
They were not able to seek protection from those who were subjected to the punishment that befell them
4:24
And the people of Noah before were a disobedient people
4:34
There is also a lesson for Noah's people when We destroyed them before Thamud. They were disobeying God's command and disobeying Him.
4:46
We built the sky with our own hands, and indeed we are expanding
4:55
And We have spread the earth, and what good guides they are
5:01
And from everything We created two pairs that you may remember
5:08
We have raised the sky as a powerful roof, and We have the capacity to create it and to create whatever We wish to create
5:18
We made the earth a bed for creation, so we are the best guides to them
5:24
And from everything We created two different types, such as misery and happiness, guidance and error
5:32
God created everything He created second, different in meaning, so that you may remember and consider that
5:40
So learn, O polytheists of God, that it is your Lord who requires you to worship
5:46
He is the one who is able to create something and so on
5:50
So flee to God. Indeed, I am to you a clear warner from Him
6:01
And do not place another god with God. Indeed, from Him I am to you a clear warner
6:13
So, O people, escape from God’s punishment to His mercy by believing in Him
6:18
I am a warner to you from God, who will make clear to you his warning
6:23
And do not, O people, place any other deity with your deity who created you
6:29
Indeed, O people, I am a clear warner to you of His punishment. He has made the warning clear to you
6:36
Likewise, those before them did not recite any messenger except that they said that they were a sorcerer or a madman
6:48
Do they seek advice from him? Rather, they are a tyrannical people
6:54
The Quraysh also denied their Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
6:59
So did the nations that rejected their Messenger
7:03
No messenger came to these people whom we mentioned before them except that they said he was a sorcerer or a madman
7:11
As the Quraysh said to Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace
7:16
Did these deniers, their early and forefathers, recommend that Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, be denied?
7:24
So they accepted that on their behalf
7:27
These polytheists, the last of them, did not recommend that
7:31
But they are a transgressing people, tyrannical against the command of their Lord
7:36
So turn away from them, and you are not to blame
7:42
And remember, for remembering benefits the believers
7:49
So, O Muhammad, turn away from these polytheists
7:53
O Muhammad, you are not to blame for your negligence in warning
7:58
I was warned and delivered what I was sent with
8:02
And bite, O Muhammad, whomever you sent to
8:05
The sermon benefits people who believe in God
8:10
I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me
8:16
I do not want them to be given sustenance, and I do not want them to be fed
8:25
God is the Provider, the One who is strong and solid
8:30
I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship us and submit to our command
8:37
I do not want from the jinn and mankind I have created any sustenance that they may provide for my creation
8:43
And I do not want them to feed them in terms of sustenance or food
8:48
God is the Provider of His creation, the One who takes care of their sustenance, and the One who has great power
8:55
Those who did wrong have sins like the sins of their companions, so do not be in a hurry
9:05
So woe to those who disbelieve from the day of their reckoning
9:14
For those who associate others with God will have a share and share of God’s punishment coming down to them
9:20
Like the share of their companions who passed away from the nations before them, so they should not rush it
9:27
The liquid water in Hell is made up of pus and pus
9:31
For those who disbelieve in God and deny His oneness from their day on which they prepare for the descent of God’s torment
