0:15 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:21 The people of Noah denied before them.

0:25 They denied Our servant.

0:27 And they said, "A madman," and he was repelled.

0:33 O Muhammad, the people of Noah denied before these people.

0:37 They denied Our servant, Noah, peace be upon him.

0:39 When We sent him to them.

0:41 And they said, "He is a madman," and he was driven away.

0:44 So he called upon his Lord, "I am overcome."

0:48 So help me.

0:51 Noah called upon his Lord.

0:54 "My people have overcome me in their rebellion and insolence."

0:58 "So grant me victory over them with a punishment from You."

1:01 For their disbelief in You.

1:03 So We opened the gates of the heaven.

1:07 With water pouring forth.

1:11 And We caused the earth to gush with springs.

1:14 So the waters met for a matter already ordained.

1:20 When Noah called upon Us.

1:23 Seeking Our aid against his people, We opened.

1:25 The gates of heaven with pouring water.

1:28 And We caused the earth to gush forth with springs of water.

1:31 The water of the heaven and the water of the earth met.

1:34 For a matter that Allah had decreed and ordained.

1:37 “And We carried him upon a thing of planks and nails,” (54:13)

1:43 Sailing under Our eyes, as a reward.

1:47 For him who had been disbelieved.

1:50 And We carried Noah when the waters met.

1:54 Upon a ship made of planks.

1:57 And nails with which the ship was fastened.

2:00 Sailing under Our observation and protection.

2:02 As a punishment from Allah.

2:04 And a recompense for him who denied and disbelieved.

2:07 And We left it as a sign.

2:11 Is there any who will remember?

2:14 How then was My punishment and My warnings?

2:17 We left the ship in which.

2:20 We carried Noah and those who were with him.

2:23 As a lesson and an admonition for those after the people of Noah.

2:26 From among the nations, so that they might take heed.

2:29 Is there any who will take heed and remember?

2:31 What We did to this nation.

2:34 That disbelieved in its Lord.

2:37 How then was My punishment for those who.

2:40 Disbelieved in their Lord, and how was.

2:43 My warning, through the punishment I inflicted upon them?

2:47 And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance.

2:50 So is there any who will remember?

2:53 We have made the Qur'an easy.

2:56 And We have detailed it for remembrance.

3:00 “(The tribe of) A'ad rejected warnings. Then how (dreadful) was My punishment after My warnings.” (54:18)

3:04 My punishment and My warnings.

3:07 The people of 'Ad also denied their prophet, Hud, peace be upon him.

3:10 So observe how My punishment was for them.

3:13 And My warning, by what I did to them.

3:16 For whoever follows their path.

3:20 We sent upon them.

3:23 “Lo! We let loose on them a raging wind on a day of constant calamity,” (54:19)

3:26 Continuous.

3:29 We sent upon 'Ad.

3:32 When they persisted in their tyranny.

3:35 A wind, fiercely cold and violent.

3:38 And its sound had a screeching noise.

3:41 On a day of evil and misfortune for them.

3:44 The affliction and punishment continued for them therein.

3:47 Until it brought them to Hell.

4:00 We have made the Qur'an easy for remembrance.

4:03 So is there any who will remember?

4:06 It would uproot the people and then throw them.

4:09 Upon their heads, so their necks would break.

4:12 And be severed from their bodies.

4:15 Leaving them like trunks of palm trees.

4:18 Uprooted, because their heads.

4:21 Were severed from their bodies.

4:24 Their necks would vanish, and they would remain.

4:27 So observe how My punishment was for the people of 'Ad.

4:30 When they disbelieved in their Lord.

4:33 How was My warning to them, as I warned others?

4:36 We have made the Qur'an easy and simplified it.

4:39 So is there any who will take heed?

4:43 Thamud denied the warnings.

4:46 They said, "Is it a human being from among us?"

4:49 "A single one, whom we should follow?"

4:52 “For they said; Is it a mortal man, alone among us, that we are to follow? Then indeed we should fall into error and madness.” (54:24)

4:55 Thamud, the people of Salih, peace be upon him, denied.

4:59 The warnings of Allah that came to them from Him.

5:02 They said, in denial of Salih.

5:05 "Shall we follow a human being from among us?"

5:08 "We are a large group, and he is but one."

5:11 "We would then, by following Salih."

5:14 "Be in error and far from the truth."

5:17 And in madness and hardship.

5:21 “Hath the remembrance been given unto him alone among us? Nay, but he is a rash liar.” (54:25)

5:24 “Hath the remembrance been given unto him alone among us? Nay, but he is a rash liar.” (54:25)

5:27 “(Unto their warner it was said): To-morrow they will know who is the rash liar.” (54:26)

5:30 "Has the revelation been sent down to him?"

5:33 "And has he been singled out with prophethood from among us?"

5:45 "Rather, he is a liar, full of arrogance and pride."

6:07 Thamud asked Salih to bring forth from the rock.

6:10 Which they asked him to produce as a sign for them.

6:13 And a proof for Salih regarding the truth.

6:16 Of his prophethood, as a trial and a test for them.

6:19 So wait for them and observe what they are.

6:22 Going to do with it.

6:35 Tell them that the water is to be shared between them.

6:38 On the day of the she-camel's turn.

6:41 They would take their turns and drink from it on that day.

6:44 Each share of water on the day of the she-camel's turn.

6:47 And the milk on the day of its arrival.

6:50 Present, they would be present for it.

6:53 They would attend the water when it was its turn.

6:56 And when it came, the milk would be present.

7:07 Then Thamud called their companion, the one who hamstrung the she-camel.

7:10 Qudar ibn Salif, to hamstring the she-camel.

7:13 He reached for the she-camel with his hand.

7:16 And he hamstrung it.

7:19 I took My vengeance upon them when I punished them.

7:22 And how was My warning to those I warned among the nations.

7:25 After them, by what I did to them.

7:28 And the punishment I brought upon them.

7:33 So the blast seized those who hamstrung the she-camel.

7:36 From among Thamud, which destroyed them.

7:39 They were destroyed by the blast.

7:42 After they had been alive and watching.

7:45 Like dry branches that a builder uses for a fence.

7:49 And it has fallen.

7:52 And despite that.

7:55 And despite that.

7:58 And despite that.

8:01 “The folk of Lot rejected warnings.” (54:33)

8:04 We sent upon them a storm of stones.

8:07 Except for the family of Lot, peace be upon him.

8:10 We saved them at dawn.

8:13 As a favor from Us.

8:17 “As grace from Us. Thus We reward him who giveth thanks.” (54:35)

9:31 So taste My punishment and My warnings.

9:34 His people sought to seduce Lot.

9:37 Regarding his guests who had stayed with him.

9:40 When Allah willed their destruction.

9:43 So We blinded their eyes until.

9:46 We made them like the rest of the face.

9:49 With no slit visible.

9:52 O people of Lot, taste the punishment that has befallen you.

9:55 And the warning with which I warned others.

9:58 Among the nations, of the retribution.

10:02 And they were overtaken in the early morning.

10:05 By a punishment that remained.

10:08 So taste My punishment and My warnings.

10:11 And We have certainly made the Qur'an easy for remembrance.

10:14 So is there any who will remember?

10:17 The people of Lot were overtaken.

10:20 At the break of dawn by a punishment.

10:23 That remained with them until the Day of Resurrection.

10:26 So taste, O people of Lot.

10:29 The punishment that I have brought upon you.

10:32 For your disbelief in Allah and your denial of His messenger.

10:35 And My warning to you, as I warned the nations.

10:38 By the punishment I sent upon you.

10:41 And We have made the Qur'an easy for remembrance.

10:44 For whoever wishes to remember.

10:48 “And warnings came in truth unto the house of Pharaoh” (54:41)

10:51 The warnings.

10:54 They denied all of Our signs.

10:57 So We seized them with the seizure of an Exalted.

11:00 All-Powerful One.

11:03 And the followers of Pharaoh and his people came.

11:06 Our warning of punishment.

11:09 The family of Pharaoh denied Our proofs.

11:12 And Our arguments that came to them from Us.

11:15 Is your disbelief in Allah a severe punishment that cannot be overcome?

11:18 He is All-Powerful over what He wills.

11:21 Neither incapable nor weak.

11:36 Are you, O people of Quraysh, better.

11:39 Than those upon whom I brought My vengeance?

11:42 From the people of Noah, 'Ad, and Thamud.

11:45 And the people of Lut and the family of Pharaoh.

11:48 You are just like them in your disbelief in Allah,

11:51 and in your rejection of His Messenger, just like some of these nations.

11:54 Or do you have an immunity against the punishment of Allah?

11:57 O assembly of Quraysh, the revelation has come to you regarding this,

12:00 from Allah in the scriptures.

12:03 “Or say they: We are a host victorious?” (54:44)

12:06 The multitude will be defeated,

12:09 and they will turn their backs in flight.

12:13 That is, these disbelievers from Quraysh say,

12:16 "We are a multitude that will be victorious"

12:19 against anyone who intends us harm or evil.

12:22 The multitude of the disbelievers of Quraysh will be defeated,

12:25 and they will turn their backs to the believers in Allah.

12:28 Then Allah fulfilled His promise to the believers,

12:31 and He defeated the polytheists of Quraysh on the day of Badr.

12:42 The matter is not as these polytheists claim,

12:45 that they will not be resurrected after their death.

12:48 Rather, the Hour is their appointed time for resurrection and punishment.

12:51 And the Hour is more grievous and more bitter for them

12:54 than the defeat they suffer

12:57 when they encounter the believers at Badr.

13:03 “Lo! the guilty are in error and madness.” (54:47)

13:06 “On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell.” (54:48)

13:09 upon their faces; "Taste the touch of Saqar."

13:12 Indeed, the criminals are in error,

13:16 away from the truth, and in a state of burning,

13:19 from the intensity of the hardship and toil in falsehood.

13:22 The day these criminals are dragged

13:25 “On the day when they are dragged into the Fire upon their faces (it is said unto them): Feel the touch of hell.” (54:48)

13:28 and it is said to them, "Taste the touch of Saqar."

13:31 “Lo! We have created every thing by measure.” (54:49)

13:34 “And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye.” (54:50)

13:37 like the twinkling of an eye.

13:40 Indeed, We have created all things

13:44 according to a measure We have ordained and decreed.

13:47 And Our command for a thing,

13:50 when We decree it and intend

13:53 for it to be, is but a single word:

13:56 "Be," and it is.

13:59 It is neither delayed nor repeated.

14:02 So what We command comes into existence as quickly as a glance

14:05 of the eye; it does not slow down nor is it delayed.

14:09 And We have already destroyed those like you,

14:12 so is there any who will take heed?

14:15 And everything they did

14:18 is in the records.

14:21 And every small and great thing

14:24 is written down.

14:27 O assembly of Quraysh, [there were] nations of the past

14:30 who were like what you are upon

14:33 of disbelief in Allah and rejection of His messengers.

14:36 So is there any who will take a lesson from that,

14:39 or be deterred by it?

14:42 And everything that those like you did,

14:45 who passed away before you,

14:48 is indeed in the books that have been written

14:51 by the recording angels against you.

14:54 Every small and great thing

14:57 is recorded in the book, written down.

15:15 Indeed, those who feared the punishment of Allah

15:18 by obeying Him and performing His obligatory duties,

15:21 and avoiding His disobedience,

15:24 [will be] in gardens and a seat of truth,

15:27 where there is no vain talk or sin,

15:30 in the presence of a Sovereign, All-Powerful over whatever He wills.
