0:18 In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

0:23 “And He it is Who hath given independence to the two seas (though they meet); one palatable, sweet, and the other saltish, bitter; and hath set a bar and a forbidding ban between them.” (25:53)

0:28 "And this is salty and bitter."

0:32 "And this is salty and bitter."

0:35 “And He it is Who hath given independence to the two seas (though they meet); one palatable, sweet, and the other saltish, bitter; and hath set a bar and a forbidding ban between them.” (25:53)

0:42 And Allah is the One Who merged the two bodies of water.

0:45 So He let one flow into the other and overflow into it.

1:01 lest they find no water to drink when they need water.

1:05 And He placed a barrier between them that prevents either of them from corrupting the other,

1:11 and made each of them strictly forbidden from altering or corrupting the other.

1:20 “And He it is Who hath created man from water, and hath appointed for him kindred by blood and kindred by marriage; for thy Lord is ever Powerful.” (25:54)

1:25 "And He made him linked by blood lineage and marriage relationships."

1:29 "And your Lord has ever been All-Powerful."

1:33 And Allah is the One Who created a human being from a drop of fluid,

1:38 making him linked by blood lineage—

1:40 and those are seven categories,

1:41 who are mentioned in His saying:

1:44 "Forbidden to you [for marriage] are your mothers..."

1:48 which are five categories,

1:52 "...and your foster mothers who nursed you."

1:56 And your Lord, O Muhammad, has always been All-Powerful over creating whatever He wills.

2:02 “Yet they worship instead of Allah that which can neither benefit them nor hurt them. The disbeliever was ever a partisan against his Lord.” (25:55)

2:09 “Yet they worship instead of Allah that which can neither benefit them nor hurt them. The disbeliever was ever a partisan against his Lord.” (25:55)

2:15 Yet these polytheists worship alongside Allah gods that cannot benefit them if they worship them,

2:23 nor harm them if they abandon their worship.

2:26 Thus the disbeliever aids Satan against his Lord, backing him in disobeying Him.

2:34 "And We have not sent you except as a meesenger of glad tidings and a warner."

2:40 “Say: I ask of you no reward for this, save that whoso will may choose a way unto his Lord.” (25:57)

2:52 And We have not sent you, O Muhammad, except as a bearer of glad tidings of abundant reward to whoever believes in you,

2:58 and as a warner to whoever disbelieves you.

3:01 Say to those to whom I have sent you:

3:05 "O my people, I do not ask you for any payment for that which I have brought you from my Lord,

3:10 such that you would say,

3:12 'Muhammad only seeks our wealth through what he calls us to.'

3:17 Rather, whoever among you wishes

3:19 may take a path to his Lord,

3:22 by spending from his wealth in His cause and in what draws him closer to Him—

3:27 such as voluntary charity and spending on jihad against His enemy,

3:30 and other avenues of good."

3:34 “And trust thou in the Living One Who dieth not, and hymn His praise. He sufficeth as the Knower of His bondmen's sins,” (25:58)

3:40 “And trust thou in the Living One Who dieth not, and hymn His praise. He sufficeth as the Knower of His bondmen's sins,” (25:58)

3:46 And rely, O Muhammad, upon the Ever-Living Who possesses continuous life without death.

3:53 Trust Him regarding your Lord's command and commit your affairs to Him;

3:56 worship Him out of gratitude for the favors He has bestowed upon you.

4:01 Sufficient is the Ever-Living Who does not die as All-Aware of the sins of His creation,

4:06 for nothing of them is hidden from Him,

4:09 and He will recompense them for them on the Day of Resurrection—

4:13 He Who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days.

4:22 In six days, then He established Himself above the Throne.

4:27 “Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six Days, then He mounted the Throne. The Beneficent! Ask anyone informed concerning Him!” (25:59)

4:33 He Who created the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them in six days.

4:39 It is said:

4:40 The beginning of that creation was on Sunday,

4:43 and its completion was on Friday;

4:45 then He established Himself above the Throne and rose above it.

4:49 So ask, O Muhammad, One who is All-Aware of the Most Compassionate—One Who is fully Aware of His creation;

4:54 for He is the Creator of all things,

4:56 and nothing He created is hidden from Him.

5:00 "And when it is said to them, 'Prostrate to the Most Compassionate,' they say, 'And what is the Most Compassionate?'"

5:08 They say, "And what is the Most Compassionate? Shall we prostrate to whatever you order us to?"

5:13 "And it only increased them in aversion."

5:17 And when it is said to these who worship alongside Allah that which neither benefits nor harms them:

5:24 "Make your prostration purely for Allah, apart from false gods and idols,"

5:30 they say:

5:31 "Shall we prostrate, O Muhammad, to whatever you order us to prostrate to?"

5:36 And the call of the speaker telling them "Prostrate to the Most Compassionate" only increased these polytheists

5:42 in fleeing further away from what they were called to.

6:00 "...and a luminous moon."

6:05 Sanctified is the Lord Who placed in the sky constellations guarded by sentries,

6:10 and placed therein the sun,

6:12 and placed therein a luminous moon.

6:16 “And He it is Who hath appointed night and day in succession, for him who desireth to remember, or desireth thankfulness.” (25:62)

6:25 “And He it is Who hath appointed night and day in succession, for him who desireth to remember, or desireth thankfulness.” (25:62)

6:33 And He is the One Who made the night and the day alternate with one another,

6:39 such that whatever deed for Allah was missed in one of them,

6:44 its fulfillment could be caught up in the other.

6:46 And others said:

6:48 He made each of them different from the other,

6:52 making this one white and this one black.

6:56 And others said:

6:58 He made each one succeed the other;

7:01 when this one goes, that one comes.

7:04 And He made the night and the day a proof for whoever wishes to remember Allah's command,

7:10 or wishes to show gratitude for Allah's favor that He bestowed upon him in the alternation of night and day.

7:17 “The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace;” (25:63)

7:23 “The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace;” (25:63)

7:29 “The (faithful) slaves of the Beneficent are they who walk upon the earth modestly, and when the foolish ones address them answer: Peace;” (25:63)

7:34 ...with forbearance and composure, without acting arrogantly.

7:37 And when those ignorant of Allah address them with harsh words they dislike,

7:42 they respond to them with decent and peaceful words.

7:47 “And who spend the night before their Lord, prostrate and standing,” (25:64)

7:54 And those who spend the night before their Lord praying to Allah,

7:58 alternating between prostration in their prayer and standing.

8:03 And those who say, "Our Lord, avert from us the punishment of Hell..."

8:11 “And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish;” (25:65)

8:16 “Lo! it is wretched as abode and station;” (25:66)

8:26 And those who supplicate Allah to avert His punishment and torment from them:

8:31 "Indeed, the punishment of Hell is a persistent, continuous, and inescapable torment,

8:36 never departing from whichever disbeliever is punished by it;

8:40 indeed, Hell is an evil dwelling and abiding place."

8:45 “And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two;” (25:67)

8:56 And those who, when they spend their wealth,

8:59 do not exceed the limit that Allah has permitted for His servants,

9:03 nor do they fall short of what Allah has commanded;

9:06 rather, their spending is moderate, balanced between extravagance and stinginess.

9:13 “And those who cry not unto any other god along with Allah, nor take the life which Allah hath forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor commit adultery - and whoso doeth this shall pay the penalty;” (25:68)

9:22 “And those who cry not unto any other god along with Allah, nor take the life which Allah hath forbidden save in (course of) justice, nor commit adultery - and whoso doeth this shall pay the penalty;” (25:68)

9:31 "And whoever does that shall meet a severe penalty."

9:36 “The doom will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein disdained for ever;” (25:69)

9:45 And those who do not worship another god alongside Allah,

9:49 but dedicate their worship purely to Him,

9:52 and do not kill the soul that Allah has forbidden to be killed, except by right—

9:57 either due to disbelieving in Allah after embracing Islam, or committing adultery after marriage,

10:03 or taking a life, for which they are executed in retaliation—

10:06 and they do not commit unlawful sexual intercourse by engaging in forbidden private parts.

10:11 And whoever commits these acts shall meet punishment and exemplary retribution from Allah's torment;

10:17 the punishment will be multiplied for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein forever in disgrace—

10:49 except for him who returns to obedience to Allah by abandoning that,

10:53 and believes in what Muhammad, Allah's Prophet, brought,

10:57 and acts upon the deeds that Allah commanded him,

11:00 and refrains from what Allah forbade him.

11:03 For those, Allah will replace their evil deeds committed during polytheism with good deeds in Islam,

11:09 by transferring them from deeds that displease Allah to those that earn His pleasure.

11:14 And Allah has ever been All-Forgiving of the sins of whoever repents among His servants,

11:18 and All-Merciful toward him, not punishing him for his sins after his repentance.

11:34 And whoever repents from among the polytheists, believes in Allah and His Messenger,

11:38 and acts upon what Allah commanded him in obedience to Him,

11:42 Allah will surely fulfill His promise to him

11:44 by replacing his evil deeds committed during polytheism with good ones in Islam—

11:49 just as He did with those who repented, believed, and worked righteousness among the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

12:00 “And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity.” (25:72)

12:08 And those who do not bear witness to anything false—

12:12 neither polytheism, nor unlawful singing,

12:14 nor falsehood, nor anything else,

12:16 including everything to which the name of falsehood applies.

12:19 And when they pass by falsehood and hear or see it,

12:23 they pass by honorably.

12:25 Their passing by honorably takes the form in some cases of not listening to it,

12:29 such as unlawful singing;

12:31 in other cases by turning away and ignoring it;

12:35 in other cases by forbidding it;

12:38 and in other cases by fighting against it with swords—

12:42 all of which constitute passing by honorably.

12:49 And those who, when a reminder reminds them of Allah's proofs,

12:54 are not deaf so as not to hear,

12:57 nor blind so as not to see them;

13:00 rather, they awaken their hearts with understanding and intellect,

13:04 understanding what Allah reminds them of through His proofs,

13:07 and understanding what He alerts them to.

13:11 And those who say, "Our Lord..." regarding Allah's proofs,

13:16 and they say, "Our Lord..." regarding Allah's proofs.

13:19 And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from our spouses

13:24 and our offspring comfort to our eyes..."

13:28 "Our Lord, grant us from our spouses

13:32 and our offspring comfort to our eyes,

13:35 and make us an example for the righteous."

13:41 And those who beseech Allah in their supplication

13:44 by saying, "Our Lord, grant us from our spouses

13:48 and our offspring that which brings comfort to our eyes—

13:52 by letting us see them acting in obedience to You;

13:55 and make us for the righteous—who beware of disobeying You and fear Your punishment—

14:01 an example that they follow in good deeds."

14:20 These servants whom I have described

14:23 shall be rewarded for these deeds that they performed in the worldly life

14:28 with the high chamber—

14:29 which is a lofty station among the dwellings of Paradise—

14:33 because of their patience in adhering to these actions;

14:36 and angels will receive them therein with greetings.

14:51 "Those will be awarded the high chamber for what they patiently endured, abiding therein;

14:56 excellent is that high chamber as a settlement and abode!"

15:15 Say, O Muhammad, to those to whom you were sent:

15:19 "What consideration would my Lord give you,

15:21 or what would my Lord do with you,

15:24 were it not for the worship of those among you who worship Him,

15:27 and the obedience of those among you who obey Him?

15:30 But you, O people, have denied your Messenger who was sent to you,

15:35 so your denial will inevitably become an abiding punishment for you—

15:39 execution by swords,

15:41 and a ruinous destruction that will overtake you one after another."

15:45 And He did that to them, killing them on the Day of Badr.
